17 Trigger First Battle
There was a sea of Red Units surrounding the TSF but it was suddenly killed just by us blinking our eyes for a moment. And the only thing left showing on the map was the BETA Killed..
...What just happened? And It seemed I was not alone as the others in the same room had the same confusion as I was when I looked upon their face.
"B-BETA force is decreasing by alarming rate!" "allied forces have regained control of the defense!" "Huge fires have broken out in various locations of BETA force!"
"I want to know the reason this is happening now!!" Base Commander Radhabinod loudly screamed
"Yes!"
But this sound... is this not the sound of EML firing?
I heard the distant sound of some kind of loud boom another nearby Fort Class falling down to the ground and the Sound of the high electricity firing around the BETA followed suit by a fast blue bolt hitting the BETA all around Runaway 1.
"The First Battalion is hearing the sound of the jet above the skies and manages to get a picture sent to the main screen now!" one of the Communication officers announced,
And soon we manage to get a glimpse of a video of the culprit from up to the dark skies. The sleek and advanced design of the aircraft was displayed in all its glory.
When the picture zooms even closer I manage to see the iconic three lines of white on its tail.
Oh.. he arrived. Trigger is finaly here.
My upper lips could not help but rise the moment I saw the aircraft "It seems the battle is concluded Dr Kouzaki."
And it was just in time too, when I noticed the new part of the system on top of my view showing the casualties were dangerously closer to 68%.
If it were ever to reach 95% I would lose the Side Objective.
But man to think In one hour the United Nations already lost half of its force, such a staggering number.
I manage to watch from the screen as Trigger doing a Starfing Run firing accurately among the surrounding TSF that is surrounded by tanks using the Pulse Laser or PLSL. And continue on with the other BETA force as he slowly chips off the BETA.
I look at the map and see various BETA forces slowly being killed off the map, starting from the closest TSF to the far edge of the Base. And not to mention the sound of the EML being fired... was cool as heck. Like electricity being charged up and the loud boom of the gun being fired.
I can't see the aircraft clearly from how dark the skies were. but I know that I would shriek like a girl the moment I see the aircraft personally upfront.
...I want to ride it. The aircraft of course.
But Man he is going ham right now, he was so fast that the camera can't keep up. Well, it makes sense he is using state-of-the-art technology from Belkan witchcraft itself.
He must be having fun.
I looked back at everyone to see all of them were stunned, with their mouth agape. At what they are seeing. Even General Radhabinod and Dr. Kouzaki were having trouble picking up their jaws from the floor.
But base Commander Radhabind was the first one to recover as I managed to hear his voice "I-is this..?"
"It's Experimental X-02 Wyvern equipped with powerful Electromagnetic Launcher that fires a single shell at an extreme velocity that can penetrate Titanium, a powerful FAEB or Fuel-Air Explosive Bomb with large enough explosives to level 300 Meter radios around it, and Pulse Laser that can one-shot any tank," I said with a single breath
General Radhabind then began to try to analyze the information I gave it him, and Dr. Kouzaki seemed to understand my explanation just from one sentence I just said with their way of her humming in understanding.
But man, the way Trigger moves is really like a Veteran Player.
The way He flipped the plane upside down, and spun around. It is really familiar how we always fight against our enemy.
Let's see the maneuvers must be Pugachev's Cobra, Kulbit, Knife-Edge Slide, and a lot more unfamiliar movements that I don't know about.
And the way he backflips in order for a faster starting run on the BETA...
Yeah, he is totally us.
"But still... EML...? FAEB? Pulse Laser..?" Dr Kouzaki looked at the aircraft in wonder at the name of the weapon.

As he watches a huge fire break out in multiple directions in the distance he can't help but be in awe.
...Holy crap. Just what kind of bomb was dropped?
in all of that chaos Takeru managed to hear another sound of something falling to the ground from the skies, It was really familiar like it was the voice of a bomb being dropped
When he noticed the sound was a familiar bomb with a quick rush of adrenaline he ordered his teammate <<It's a bomb! Everyone scatter!!>>
With much rush, the rest of A-01 activated their thruster on their TSF to full to avoid the bomb.
As they quickly retreated from the bomb-struck zone, another massive explosion sent shockwaves throughout the area. The impact was particularly intense around the BETA, resulting in a towering inferno that illuminated the night sky with an eerie, malevolent glow.
Without warning, he was caught off guard as the shockwave violently rattled his Tactical Surface Fighter (TSF). Alongside his teammates, who were equally unprepared, they were all buffeted by the massive blast.
<<Guhh!! >><<Kyaa!! >>
The tumultuous force persisted for what felt like an eternity, lasting for more than five seconds. As the shockwave eventually subsided, he regained control of his TSF and gently set it back on the ground. With a sense of astonishment, he gazed upon the scene before him.
The entire horde of BETA lay either disintegrated or charred beyond recognition. None of the BETA adversaries they had been battling just moments ago had managed to survive the devastating blast.
<<My god...>>
The scorching heat was overwhelming, and he could feel it radiating through his Tactical Surface Fighter (TSF), causing him to break out in a cold sweat.
<<Valkyries squadron, reinforcements have just sent air support. Watch out for the blast radius,>> Lieutenant Isumi warned.
<<Yeah, I can totally see that. Are the UN that desperate they sent a nuke upon us?!>>
<<It's not a nuke... but you guys should hide really quick.>>

<<Another one is coming! All UN forces, enter the base now to avoid blast!>> Lieutenant Isumi urgently directed.
And with that, we take the chance to enter the Base and begin to hide inside.
Before Shirogane entered the base, he caught a brief glimpse before the gate closed on him as the aircraft executed a Starfing run and noticed a series of small blue lights repeatedly firing at the BETA, followed by trails of smoke descending to the skies as multiple explosion happening outside the base.
Once he was inside the base alongside other UN forces that were forced to hide inside. He only felt the vibration of the earth, explosions, electricity charged up, and several gunshots. Echoing outside the Gate.
<<..What's going on out there?>>
The bombing would last for an hour straight as an explosion and the shake of the earth. It was hard to guess, but the air support they asked for must have arrived and was in the process of destroying the BETA outside.
It felt... uncomfortable staying inside the gate while knowing the BETA was still outside the base. They readied themselves to break down the gate and infiltrate the base in order to recapture the HIVE on deep ground level.
After what felt like forever, the gate opened again <<This Base Commander to all units, ally air strike have just finished their bombing, check for any surviving BETA and don't let a single pass the Gate!>>
<<Roger! >>
With a quick rush, all the UN force activate their thruster and begin making their way outside as fast as possible.
Once all of the UN forces that outside, all of the UN forces were left... speechless upon what they saw.
They witnessed several Fort Class units tumbling to the ground, the base lit on fire, and the whole place that used to be A Runaway for launching TSF... was completely wrecked.
'That's right, it was just a single aircraft. End a whole Civil War. And these people eat Ace pilot like it was breakfast!'
As his memory jogged, Shirogane remembered Renald's warning, 'That's why if you ever, EVER. Meet these people, you better pray you survive.'
That's right... the one flying that aircraft must be part of the round table.
Is this... the power that the Round Table has? the power to annihilate one side while the other survives
Shirogane barely noticed as the sun began to shine upon them. The morning had arrived and began to show what once the BETA force was..
It was also a sign that they had emerged victorious in the battle

After that, it was a clean-up process. The surrounding BETA force was completely defeated, and Trigger ALONE eliminated the entire BETA with his giant EML weapon, Pulse Laser, FAEB, and Missle.
But damn... I know that Pulse Laser was pretty effective in single-player because of its high ammo and effectiveness when dealing with a large amount of enemies. I use it a lot too in single-player since they have a lot more ammo, better damage, and a higher range. Making it effective against ground troops.
But to use Pulse Laser requires a high level of training and skills just to fire accurately, not to mention when enemies tend to spin around the skies randomly and keep moving making it hard to shoot it down, especially at multiplayer.
But that's what Trigger did, he shot accurately while trying to avoid hurting the allied while the enemy target still moving.
I guess that makes sense when Trigger is one of the most talented pilots in the history of Ace Combat, other than Mihaly of course.
And the fact that I am going to meet the legend himself makes me both nervous and excited.
Could he be an Old guy who has various scars from the war? Or maybe a handsome man from those Manhwa people? Maybe even the youngest Ace pilot in the Ace Combat universe?
Must be one of those three. Hopefully, it will be the last one since It would be great if he's close to my age. That way we can talk so much stuff about aircraft that it will reach night time.
Also, I was hoping his face was not blurred like it was censored. I kind of at least wanted to know what kind of face he had.
As I continued walking in the empty hallway the sound that could be heard was my footstep, I was spooked out when I heard a loud scream in the distance hallway, like someone was in pain from being hurt.
I immediately sprinted toward the source of the scream, driven by curiosity and concern, only to be met with a gut-wrenching sight that made me gasp in horror. I instinctively covered my mouth in shock, my eyes widening at the gruesome scene before me.
Corpse. The hallway was littered with body after body of injured soldiers. Medics were desperately trying to tend to the wounded, their faces etched with determination and exhaustion as they worked to save the lives of the rest of the injured.
I.. was speechless Upon I saw it. This was my first seeing so many injured people. But I guess even with victory there would be someone who gets caught in the crossfire.
I shook my head, reminding myself that this was the grim reality of war, something I had momentarily forgotten since I had never been to a war.
I need to leave this world as soon as possible when I have the chance.
With a heavy heart, I averted my gaze from the wounded soldiers on my left and right, opting to focus on the reason I was there. Once I managed to make my way outside, the brilliant sun temporarily blinded me. Shielding my eyes, I finally had a clear view of the base's exterior.
The whole place was littered with BETA corps and leftover charcoal from how the battle went on.
Conclusion.. pretty much everything was destroyed as I can see all of the buildings around Runaway 1 were left to ruble and several Buildings were still caught on fire from the FAEB before as Firetruck trying to put out the fire.
Hopefully, Dr Kouzaki won't ask me to pay for the damage that was caused.
I also managed to get a glimpse of backhoes, diggers, and excavators all around the place to get things rid of the body of BETA that seems.. to never end. I can look up in the distance only to see more flesh and blood of the BETA corps.
In the distance manage to get a glimpse of a small dot approaching the base. As it got close the dot got bigger and bigger until the image of the aircraft appeared to be clear
It was an X-02 Wvyren.
Trigger was coming here.
Seeing the swift aircraft approaching, the residents of the base beside me began to cry out in terror.
"It's going too fast!" "It's going to crash!" "Run!!"
As the X-02 Wvyren was heading here at around 500 Km/Hour, it was so fast I was thinking that it was actually going to crash too.
But to my relief the aircraft stopped life in front of a wide area, its wing up stopped in front of us, pushing the wind our way. Gradually, it descended to the ground, its landing gear extending from beneath the aircraft, and it touched down safely.
...That was so cool as heck.
As the aircraft's engine powered down, a crowd of curious onlookers began to gather around it. Among them were mechanics, soldiers, and pilots, all sharing the same curiosity that I felt
I won't blame them either, this is my first time seeing the X-02 Wvyren so close..
My anticipation grew as the cockpit canopy was lifted, revealing someone inside the aircraft.
He is here..
I managed to get a good look at the noticeable yellow jacket he wore, and the helmet he used stood out from the rest of us. With its iconic trio of stripes adorning his back from the aircraft glasses.
Without a ladder, he suddenly dropped down to the floor and looked around the base noticing that he got attention from the rest of the soldiers and mechanics in the surrounding base as all of them were staring at him in many kinds of emotion but mostly curious.
He kept looking left and right like he was looking for something before his eye landed on me and began making an approach.
With each step, my heart beats fast. Now that I think about it, what should I say to him? I have to make a good impression since this is our first meeting.
And as he arrives he looks upon me from up close. I can feel his breath
He stares at me for a few seconds before lifting off the helmet, my eyes are captivated by the unveiling of cascading chestnut-brown hair that tumbles down.
That day, I discovered something I hadn't realized before. Trigger was not a man.
Trigger was a woman.

I am sorry but I have to announce that Ace Combat Multiverse will be put to a halt, the reason is that I am not done yet with the next chapter as there is several dialogues still not finished yet rewrite yet.
Usually, There are many steps usually I take to make the chapter.
Prewriting, Drafting, Revising, Planning, and finaly Publishing the chapter. And I have to do that all alone.
Most of the chapter was already Prewrite but I was not even done drafting even Revising the chapter because I have become more busy than usual. That's why while I am sorry even though we are only 300 Favorit away from reaching my first ever 1K I have to stop uploading chapter until at least 5 chapter is ready.
JUST SOO CLOSEEE I CAN FEEEL IT, but... to think I have to stop now...Ugh
