Chapter 9

Davis is known to be the only person she relied on and shared her true love with.

Her likeness, love for Davis seems to have shaken up a little bit with a series of doubts running through her mind.

One minute she was sitting still and just there looking at the bare wall, the other minute she was moving to and fro in Nana's room with these frightening eyes on Nana Smith who is just beside her to calm her.

"I kind of never liked Mathew. Fucking prick…" Arya barks in a tiny voice. "And that bitch!…she is the one, she caused this."

But Nana looks up startled, "Oh dear calm down, how's this her fault now?" asking strangely.

"Don't tell me you want to pick her side," Arya fires back. She continues her uncomfortable pacing around the room.

"dinh ding"

Her phone on the table rings, Arya didn't mind.

Nana takes a peep, "Arya, It's Davis." Arya enlightened but still posed ignorant.

"Ding…ding..ding!" Arya's phone kept ringing without picking.

In Arya's mind roaming- how she took a punch for Davis' childishness at the game, in front of everyone. The whole embarrassing moment kept replaying in her mind…

She went up to a straight long mirror hanging on the wall, she asked, "Nana. Look at me, how do I look?. Don't I look amazing ?" she felt so bitter.

Nana had to remind her how good of a friend and partner she is to Davis as well as how everything she wears fits her perfectly.

"But try to forget all Matthew said, they can be lies said just to sound funny." Nana adds to nullify the allegations

She continues, "You know, Matthew is kinda jealous of both of you. He's trying to get Hanna to accept him, but she hasn't."

While Arya stood there looking at herself, twisting her butts on and forth, Nana's words really got to her. Then she got a bit calm, and wiped off the little tears that had leaked from her eye as Nana gave her a warm hug.

"Grmm".

Her phone beeps, this time a message chimed in.

"C'mon check it," Nana insinuates, picks up the phone and hands it to her. "I'm sure he's trying to get to where you are."

Nonchalantly, Arya takes the phone, unlocks it, she opens the message, Nana takes a peep and it reads: Open up pls. I know you're hurt.

Nana's eyes widened with curiosity, both of them looking shocked.

Questions like, "Is it my door? How?" were running through Nana's head.

Arya in her own sense has her eye fixated on Nana's innocent face. "Nana, when did you plan this? You told him to come that I am at your place," Arya said, sounding repellant.

"No no…I never contacted him. How would I?. We don't even speak like that," Nana talked back slowly in a confused way. And she knew, a few minutes ago she sent Mia a message- "Hey Mia,can you come to my room right now. Arya is losing it,and I don't want to hear her mischievous blame."

But how is Davis here instead?

Arya looks at Nana, already suspicious, trying to read her face. She yells, "Shit! you're lying." Nana, who isn't able to stay still, keeps fidgeting. "Nana. A fucking liar you are." Arya rans her hand through her already scattered pink hair.

Another message came in - "Pls I'll have to knock. Also,I'm with Mia." Nana breathes out, fully aware it is Mia who brought Davis along.

Nana gets up and heads to the door.

The door opened gently…Davis makes a cool entrance with Mia behind him.

"Were you crying? Oh babe, my queen. I'm here and all yours," Davis sultry voice oozes, as reaches to hold Arya who is wiping her face.

"Is this because of what Mat said, it's just boys thing and don't let it bother you. Let us not make a mountain out of a molehill pls." He quietly sits beside her. Davis quite, looks at Mia and Nana like a curious cat but they both shrugged,he has been talking yet no single response.

Mia retraces back out of the room,Nana standing there looking carried away gets a pinch from Mia. Dragging Nana with her, closing the door she gives Davis a thumbs up, a sign he was doing perfect.

Davis exhales, thinking what next to say. Does Arya need a performance to atleast say something? Her silence to him was becoming nervous…he stutters, "Mat isss aa. He is just a badmouth jerk, you know."

"Yeah! He's a total jerk!" Arya agreed upon that suddenly.

Davis looks at her bemused, at this point he would say anything she wants to hear. "Even that Hanna girl, they're both…"

Davis didn't finish, Arya cuts in. "Seriously, that bitch! She gets in the way a lot. I honestly want nothing to do with her…what's so special about her,uh?" Arya complained uncontrollably nonstop.

Davis already exhausted tired shutting her up a bit by hugging her tightly, then whispering to her ear. "It's alright now. I started all that happened. It's ok now."

Arya began her little pity sob again. Davis nervously pulled her back, "We're like two peas in a pod. I love you!" He reassures her.

…. Arya's looks him in the eye, his eyes burning with flames. She was hooked with that once again. "I love you too," Arya responded. Their body sweetly gum up, and their lips met. They felt each other while they kissed like they've been craving it. A kiss so deep that Mia and Nana were hearing them kiss from outside.

Nana tried going up close to hear them very well, however Mia chuckles while standing in her way. Nana has never had that experience, she craves it as much as it frightens her.
