Death Of A Demigod 3

Lightning coursed through Damien and every contact he had with Jason made him feel numb. With every contact the tide of battle was turning against Damien and there was nothing he could do to stop it. Damien had finally seen what Jason could do when he fought with his full might.

With every hit Jason was pushing Damien towards an edge. Jason was actually learning to fight while fighting. This was a monster who could not be defeated with every move he became faster, stronger, stealthier. This was a demigod someone so far beyond human constraints that even thinking about matching his strength was utter foolishness.

Damien realised that if he had met Jason in his prime there would not be a singe chance for Damien to even be able to touch Jason. With this despair also came hope,that Jason wasn't in his prime right now he was far too weak. Jason as of this moment stood at the boundary of a mortal and a demigod. Damien was also on this boundary but a bit weaker than Jason.

Damien decided it was finally time to push through. He threw the spear towards Jason and as the spear coursed through the air with such sharpness that even the wind bowed to give it way. Jason who saw the spear coming a mile away caught it with just one hand but then suddenly he realised that Damien was standing behind him.

*Bam*

Damien punched with all his might and as the punch landed on Jason's jaw he was hit with the force of at least 20 megatons. The punch also contained lightning which rushed from Damien's hand into Jason's face burning some of his nerves and numbing others.

Jason was sent flying into the distance and as he touched the ground a deep trench was formed. The punch was so heavily effective that Jason had lost control of his elemental body and was now in his mortal form. Damien saw this as a chance and rushed towards Jason not giving him any time to recuperate.

Jason was in desperate need of time but before he could act Damien had arrived to where he was and another punch landed on him. Damien then unleashed a barrage of punches each filled with ten megatons worth of force.

Jason had started to bleed. Blood gushed out from his mouth nose and head. Damien then used his spear to deal a killing blow but this was a costly mistake. For it gave Jason time to do exactly what he needed. Jason used his soul power to temporarily disconnect Damien from his soul. Then Jason took his time to stabilize his elemental form and unleashed upon Damien all four elements at once.

After the smoke and dust cleared Damien stood there lifeless with certain areas of his body charred. At this moment Damien's soul returned to his body. Damien felt all the pain his body had endured in one split second. It was so painful that he wanted to die but as he endured he started to bleed and cough out blood.

Jason had used too much soul power he now had only a few minutes remaining. He decided he would now kill Damien before he died. Damien also resolutely decided on a suicide attack. As their eyes met on the battlefield one was pure gold the other had lightning in them. Suddenly they both disappeared from their places and in the air there were several sounds of metal crashing but nothing was visible. Every now and then a gust of wind blew out from where the metal clash sound originated.

Damien and Jason appeared in their respective places again. This time they were breathing heavily. They were finally exhausted from the strain of battle. Then Jason fired boulders in Damien's direction while Damien destroyed them with his lightning. Damien then fired lightning on Jason who used boulder to shield himself.

This went on for quite a while and finally exhaustion took its toll on both the fighters as they lost control of their elemental bodies. From here on it was going to be a fight of martial skills. Both of them drew their weapons and ran towards eachother. As metal clashed again the people around looked in awe and disbelief at how immensely strong these two were. Tjey had started to revere Damien for his battle intellect after all having stalemate with Jason is a task unheard of.

Jason used his long sword to slash at Damien's throat while Damien used his spear to thrust it into Jason's heart. Jason used all his superior spear skills to hit Damien's vital but everytime he made contact Damien body strengthening took 90% of the damage. Damien on the other hand was only able to land one blow on Jason which had caused a minor cut on Jason's arm. Jason even with the long sword was faster than Damien.

Then finally Damien shot out a barrage of lightning bolts and because of the proximity Jason could nit avoid all of them. Two lightning strikes hit him on his legs crippling Jason as he fell to the ground. Damien saw this opening and used the lightning around him to increase his speed tenfold. As Damien vanished from his spot people looked straight in Jason's direction.

There Damien stood with his spear thrust into Jason's heart. Blood flowing like a river from Jason body onto the spear. The entire Novic-Aryan alliance shouted in shock and despair. They couldn't believe it Jason had been struck right through his heart.

Although this had been a triumphant moment for the demons they were not rejoicing. As Damien had thrust a spear into Jason,Jason had also used the earth as a spear to cut off Damien's left arm. Demons were horrified to behold this sight,blood was flowing like a water fall from Damien's left shoulder.
