Twenty minutes went by and after a small journey, Alucard was now parked in front of Ruoxi's villa.

However, the Lambo wasn't where she usually parked it, indicating Lin Ruoxi's absence.

Alcina was already back inside his shadow and eagerly awaiting the moment when her reward would come to fruition!

'You told her that I was coming, right?'

'Yes...'

It's already past midnight and she's not back home yet.

Alucard decided to just wait for her inside, but he needed to contact someone first…

'Catherine, you have been eerily quiet these few days.'

'Husband! What do you mean 'eerily'? Mou! You make it sound as if I'm a psycho!'

'...'

'Hey!'

'I'm just spending my time with my daughter... Last time I saw her was more than half a year ago you know? We're watching some movies together!'

'... You and Alcina can come and watch movies with us you know?'

'Um! The flight is in two days! I'd like it if you could come here tomorrow, dear... And take the plane with us.'

'... You want me to teleport there, just so I can take the plane back with you?'

'You can't?' Alucard didn't know if it was Catherine or a puppy 'talking' at this point.

Back in a Villa in Scotland, the duo of mother and daughter sat on a big sofa with a massive TV screen in front of them.

Beverages, popcorn and all kind of sweets filled the table in front of them.

Catherine had already given instructions to her nephew on how everything would be handled from now on.

She would still be the Queen, but someone would be posing as her in the background, decisions would be taken by the Rothschild family and she would only be present in the most important of matters.

She went through a serious meeting with the Rothschild family back in England.

She was reprimanded, told that because of her 'shameless behaviour, the great relationship they had with the God Hades and the Zero organisation...

She explained that the relationship between the Rothschild family and Hades wasn't broken and that her matters had nothing to do with the UK politics.

They proved to be quite insistent regarding this matter, that was until her eyes turned red and her vampiric charm arose...

"All of you will do as I say, there are no 'if' or 'buts', I'm not reporting anything to you, I'm commanding, do you understand?" Her voice sounded as alluring and soft as ever, but beneath the facade of a pretty Queen lie a creature that had yet to awaken.

Those words were all it took for the Rothschild family to accept her every demand and let her act willfully under the awestruck gaze of Jane and Edward...

All this time her position was kept due to Yang Chen's protection, the moment that protection disappeared, the mad dogs didn't even take a day to start barking back at her.

Back to the present Jane who was between her mother's legs gave her a sidelong glance as the latter smiled like a fool before regaining herself and taking some popcorn.

"...Did you just talk to him?" She inquired.

"Huh? Yes, why?" Catherine, who was refocusing on the movie, answered in bewilderment at Jane's interest.

"You said that you two can communicate mentally regardless of distance, does he hear everything that's in your head or something?" Jane was actually very interested in everything that had to do with the trio, she knew of the Blood Clan and some of their characteristics, but their existence was a secret and they were very proud individuals that had barely any contact with the world.

She couldn't possibly study any of them, yet here, behind her, her mother was now a creature that she claimed far outstripped a member of the Blood Clan...

"Ummm, no, apparently, our contact is like that of a channel, I can 'will' what I send to him and whatnot... However, his connection with Alcina is different, they see and share every sense as if they were just one person... I don't know the intricates, but that's what she told me" Catherine huffed still remembering how her 'sister' boasted at how her connection was better than hers... Moreover, she could enter Alucard's shadow... That's something she herself couldn't do.

"And can you tell me some things about him? Like I don't know, who is he exactly, is he really Dracula?" Seeing that her mother had the disposition to answer her questions for once, Jane totally discarded the ongoing movie and turned around hastily, putting her elbows on her mother's tighs with curiosity as the latter looked at her with a troubled expression...

"B-But..." She didn't want to say anything without his permission.

"C'mon mom, is not like I'm going to do anything with that information, I just want to know, that's all!"

"They said curiosity killed the cat, Jane..." Catherine sighed, though in this case, she was more afraid the cat would get in heat...

'H-Husband, do you mind if I tell Jane about you?' She asked, still not wanting to divulge anything without his consent.

'... I don't mind.' his answer came back shortly after.

"Well, he agreed. What do you want to know?" The Queen sighed and got comfortable on the sofa as her daughter technically crawled on top of her with a curious expression.

"Yes! First of all, where is he from?" She had guessed previously that Romania wasn't really his country of origin, but after knowing he's a vampire then it would make sense he's from there, but that's weird as he doesn't seem to have any connection with the Blood Clan that also operates in that area...

"He's not from this world..."
