Chapter 11

The three friends were given bibles by the girl. AJ asked the girl, "Um... Who are you and what are you doing here?". The girl smiled and said, "I'm Jade and I'm here to help the church by handing out bibles to the people passing by.".

While Ellie and AJ was speaking to Jade, Jm noticed that something was attached to Jade's ankle. It seemed to be a red string attached to her from somewhere near the church... Jm shrugged it off and thought, 'Maybe that's just her style... It still feels weird though... I mean, no one likes a string tied to his or her ankle... Maybe its nothing.', and noticed that there is another string tied to her other ankle and it was colored blue this time.

They proceeded to walk home and say farewell at the intersection at Rolling Road. Jm got on a tricycle and went home as soon as possible. Ellie walked to the bus stop a few blocks down the road and waited for the bus that was going to arrive a few minutes later.

While AJ walked home, enjoying the cold afternoon breeze blowing through her hair. She was singing softly to herself when she saw a black van speeding to her direction.
