A Club? A Café Club?!

Emiko is writing down some notes on the notebook about the things she felt from last night until Kichi comes over and she quickly hid her notebook from him. "What were you writing?", he asks her. "Oh nothing much just random stuff that isn't really important", she says to him. Kichi shrugs and went to sit at his desk. The school bell rings and the first class starts.

Later after class, Kichi asked Emiko about this year's new club. The two of them alongside Midori and Nikko always change their clubs theme each year with last year being a Literature Club which mostly brought interest to Emiko and Midori. "Hey Emiko, it's that time of the year again", he tells her while she was reading a book. "What time of the year is it again?", she ask confusedly. "The time where we change our club's main topic to add some spice to it.", he says to her and she finally remembered about their club constantly changing topics. "Alright, let's discuss about it with Midori and Nikko during lunch time", she tells him before secretly continue writing in her notebook.

During lunch, they all grabbed some food and sat at their favorite table together before discussing on the new club topic for their final year at school. "Let's start with the discussion now. Anyone have any suggestions?", Emiko asks the group for suggestions on the new club topic. Nikko suggested a swimming club but the others disagree due to the fact that he is the only good swimmer out of the 4 of team and the club consists of 2 guys and 2 girls. "What about a sci-", Kichi was silenced by Emiko before he was done with his sentence. Midori finally suggests they do a Café Club for their final year which would work well with their current situation of working at a Café to begin with and the club topic gives them a variety of ways on how to set it up that could benefit other students of the school.

After lunch and finishing the final classes for the day, they all met up at their club room to clean up the room to redecorate it for the new Café Club design that Midori has in mind. While Kichi and Nikko cleans up the room, Emiko and Midori brainstorms together for new ideas on how to make the club look nicer for their final year. They came to the conclusion of making it very cozy and comfy with some rich details. They would only be able to do such grander decoration due to their room being an abandoned classroom that the school no longer uses. The boys took a break from cleaning the room and the girls did some sorting of the objects that were lying around the room before putting everything into their own boxes and putting them in one place for them to pick it up tomorrow. They all were exhausted and didn't have to go to work for the day so they all went back home.

The next day after class, they all meet up at their club room to begin the renovation. Everyone quickly change out of their school uniform before the renovation. "Operation Renovating Club Room is go!", Emiko shouts and they begin to renovate the room. Kichi and Midori set up the furniture while Nikko and Emiko start to paint the walls with a dark color to match the colors of dark oak wood that were used in Ashita's Café. "I forgot how tiring it is to paint the walls", Emiko says to Nikko and he nods, "I should have brought the paint rollers instead of the paintbrushes". Kichi and Midori finished setting up the new desk and tables before taking over the painting duties and letting Nikko and Emiko rest for a bit. After painting for awhile, the two also took a break from work and everyone enjoyed a fresh beverage drink that Midori brought with her.

After they finished taking their break, they continued with the renovation. The girls decorated the room with cute decorations that Emiko bought the other day while the boys did some work with cleaning the outside of the room and putting up some minor decorations to attract other students attention in the future when they decide to open up their café in school. After working for a few hours, they finally did it. The whole club room looks incredible and Midori sheds a tear at the beautiful work they did today. Everyone quickly packed up their belongings, changed clothes and started to walk back home together.

"Hey guys, what do you think we should sell at the school café?", Kichi asks them. "What about we ask Hiroshi tomorrow? He might be able to give some ideas and probably some food and drinks to sell at the café", Midori tells the group. The boys agree on the suggestions while Emiko's head is up in the clouds as she still thinking about the feeling she felt the other day. They all arrived at a split path and went their separate ways back home.

After school ended, they all went to the café to help out Hiroshi with the café for today alongside asking for his help with their new café themed club. Nikko and Kichi are hard at work while Midori and Emiko are asking Hiroshi a few questions. "So you guys opened up a café club in school? That sounds amazing! So, how could I help you guys out?", he says to them with a warm smile on his face. "Well, we were asking on tips on how to attract students attention to the café alongside on what we should sell there that could be eligible within school rules", Midori tells him with note and pen on hand to write down some notes while Emiko explains to him about the school rules on selling food and drinks that are beyond the cafeteria area. "I see, how about you create a sign board preferably using a blackboard and chalk to write down advertisements to attract student's attention but in a non-flashy way like the signboard we have outside the café.", he tells to them and Midori quickly notes it all down. "And for the food and drinks that you could sell. Let's make it simple for now and just sell some small pastries like cream puffs and cupcake alongside some cold beverages like water bottles and cold canned coffee. I could prepare some for you guys to use within your café", Midori notes down the final notes and they both thanked Hiroshi before taking the boys place at work and letting them rest.

The next day, they put their action to plan during lunch. They all brought their own lunchboxes to school so they won't need to go to the cafeteria for today. Kichi writes down a simple advertisement on a blackboard and put it outside the club room. "The Kyonen Café is finally opened for business!", Midori says as loud as she can without breaking the school rules and attracted the attention of several nearby students as the students come in to enjoy the newly opened café. Everything went smoothly, everyone had fun and they continued operations in the evening during club time to provide food to students who didn't have food for the evening. At the end of the day, they all made a nice amount of money. Everyone celebrated in joy that the café club was a success and they all went to Ashita's café as customers for today to take a rest and told Hiroshi all about what happened at school today.

Midori was the happiest of them all due to the fact that she has planned the whole café club for a long time and it turned out amazingly. Emiko was happy for Midori and as they celebrate she still ponders on the feeling she felt the other day as she looks Kichi with a different feeling from looking him as just her childhood friend.
