Chapter 13

Cass held the Black Admonition in her right hand and moved forward. Of course Anak was picking his most trusted soldiers for another event. Before the First Fire Phase starts Anak and Nagamo hold a competition, and every time Nagamo loses, resulting in the increase of her anger. So it explains why a lot of people die in that phase without being resurrected(talk about wicked woman power).

Cass: So is it necessary to bring me again?

Anak: Highly necessary. I need her to stop these events.

Cass: But I'm two sided.

Anak: If Nass even agrees to it, then why are you bothered?

Cass: Nagamo. Women get emotional and want to be right constantly.

Anak: Whiles she knows she's wrong? Jeez.....

Cass: Or else you would lose her; eventually.

He stopped short and glared at her. "I. Am. Not. Losing. Her", he yelled and walked off.

Ray's POV

We were wrapping up in the evening and that sibyl(Amsterdam) decided to give me a kiss on my cheek(i have my reason for calling her a sibyl).

I have two options here:

1. Totally ignore her and make her annoyed.

2.Happily kiss her back and worsen her affection for me to the ultimatum.

You know what happened? Sydney worsened the case. She too decided to kiss my other cheek. And that, is why... I'm stuck here with the two of them fighting.

I decided to slowly take my briefcase and run for the door, but the moment I turned, a very strong grip held me back.

"And where, Ray, do you think you're heading off to?", Amsterdam creepingly asked. "H.. Ho....home?", I stammered and almost bit my tongue. "Hehehehe..... You aren't going anywhere!", Sydney gave the Cheshire cat grin and i believed in that slight moment of my life, my soul left my body.

It wasn't till I woke up that I realized that they had sent me home, and Nass was laughing her ass off.

"Nass!", I yelled at her and she poked my forehead. "That's for tolerating women too much", she said. I ignored her and went to shower.

Second Earth Phase :Day 7

Ray and Kobie had a peaceful night, since the succubus decided not to give them drills. But they were to soon find out about Sydney.

The night before....

Sydney and Cass walked towards Sydney's home, Cass ensuring that Kobie wasn't hearing or following them.

Sydney: When should they know?

Cass: In due time. Ceri's training you well, I see?

Sydney: Yes. How did you know?

Cass: Your tattoo is growing.

The tattoo was activated by Ceri so that when Sydney succeeded in a task, it would grow. If she's done with her full training, the tattoo would cover her whole arm, just like Anak's.

Back to the present...

Kobie: Actually Ray, would Sydney be able to come for the end of week celebration?

Ray: Is that even a thing?

Kobie: Says Blades Somore. So I guess so?

Ray: What about Amsterdam?

Kobie:(Signs) I guess so too.

Ray signed and fastened his belt. "Well then, I think today you can go roam around in the area and get acquainted with the neighbourhood", he said. "Really?!", Kobie asked and his eyes gleaned. "Anything to do not to see your eyes like that? Yes. Please leave".

So as Ray was leaving, a cheerful Kobie was heading off to Blades Somore's place.
