"I'll start setting up another formation when I can. Maybe a defensive barrier would work instead of an illusional one. No, that wouldn't be good enough…"
As she had started talking to herself getting quieter I could hear Ava calling out for my name. Ava was mumbling my name for a while and then she started to groan. The clouds that were covering the sun went away and were shining into her eyes.
I kneeled down next to her and blocked the sunlight from her face.
Being right beside her when she had opened her eyes they were looking straight at me.
She was looking at me as if I was supposed to be dead.
"Y-Your still alive!"
She sprung up and hugged me tightly. It was a strong hug but it became gentler as she held me longer. She let go of me and stared at me.
"When your body became lifeless I thought I wouldn't be able to see you again."
She hugs me again, bawling her eyes out.
"Umm, There there."
