" Just as you expected, the President has banned our newest Tapi ". Indigo was on one knee, looking at the floor as she spoke. Retoph glanced at her as he picked up a laser pen and began cutting through the Atrotar jade that had nearly gotten Kofi and the others killed.

" Hmm. Do we have enough revenue "? Indigo nodded, remaining in her position " We exceeded the equilibrium profit by five fold ". Retoph smiled slightly, obviously satisfied with the information " That's good. Is there anything else "?

Indigo hesitated slightly and flinched when Retoph suddenly turned to her, pointing the laser pen at her " What could be so terrifying to even terrify such an advanced piece of Artificial Intelligence such as you Indigo "? She gulped, looking at the laser pen as she paled.

She whimpered, looking at him pleadingly " Master ". He realized she was afraid of the laser pen in his hand and sighed, putting it on the table " I'm not gonna slice you in two ". She tilted her head to the side, " Really "?

Retoph sighed as he nodded [ I forget she's a glitch sometimes ] " Yes. Now what were you gonna tell me "? She took a deep breath and looked up at him, " We discovered that a Tapi had been sold at the Fosmioa auction house yesterday night ".

Retoph wiggled his fingers, looking confused " I'm not seeing the problem ". She looked down, " The problem lies with the young woman who sold it and the fact that the Yadi family's first son bought it ".

He suddenly stopped moving his fingers and frowned, " This could prove to be troublesome. Keep an eye on the Fosmioas' just in case. If that's all, you may leave ". Indigo nodded as she seamlessly disappeared, leaving Retoph by himself once more.

He smiled as he picked up a small bright red shard of the jade he'd absent mindedly cut off [ Reminds me of her hair ] Putting it in his pocket, he turned the laser on and the blue light sent sparks all over the place as he cut into the jade, " Its gonna be a long day ".

" Were you able to trace it back to its source "? Everyone knew the answer Valentino wanted to hear but unfortunately their opponent was a lot smarter than they'd earlier given them credit for. Though it was only a video conference, all other participants already had chills. Not many things could make the President this upset and no one actually knew why this upset him so much.

He took a deep breath as he spoke through clenched teeth, trying to calm down " And Retoph "? He suddenly opened his eyes when he heard murmuring, " Is there a problem "?

" We've been unable to locate his body among the debris ". Valentino sighed as he looked out the window, " He was turned to ash in the lab, of course you can't find him. His research, were you able to salvage it "?

The silence that followed was stifling and he sighed, " When I ask questions, I expect answers. Where's my Minister of Crime and Records "? A young looking man with jet black hair and bright silver eyes suddenly smiled into one of the cameras, " You called boss "?

Valentino sighed, collapsing into his chair " Give me some good news Tobias ". Tobias nodded, suddenly turning serious " We were able to recover the main server, though on the burnt side. Anyways, the files seem intact and we're working on decoding it ".

Valentino nodded tiredly, " Keep up the good work ". The man was suddenly back to his sunny disposition, " Yes boss, as long as you're happy. Anyway, about my deployment.... ". He waved his hand as he got up, " You can go wherever you want to go ".

He beamed even more as the other cameras suddenly went off, " Awesome. Where was I gonna choose again "? He shrugged as he switched off his camera too, " It'll come back to me ".
