The Lost Sorcerer

Chapter 01: New Arrival

- David Shield  –

In the vibrant city of Musutafu, two men and one child wandered through the city's bustling street, the new hot place and the latest trendy spot.

"Dad! I want ice cream!" exclaimed the little girl, her eager eyes fixated on an irresistible ice cream cone offered by a nearby vendor. She playfully tugged at her father's sleeve.

The older man grinned at his daughter's cute reaction and exchanged a knowing glance with his companion, who smiled. These two individuals were none other than David Shield and Yagi Toshinori, also known as All Might, Japan's most esteemed hero.

Amidst the energetic crowds of people, they leisurely strolled along, relishing their free time together. Yagi had assumed his civilian persona to avoid drawing undue attention, mindful of preserving their cherished break from their typically demanding lives.

Yagi also knows that his old friend David rarely took time off like he did. However, this particular day held significance; it marked Melissa's birthday. Hence, the family decided to visit Japan and reconnect with friends like All Might, who warmly welcomed them.

The trio found themselves in the city's liveliest district, savouring this rare vacation. Typically engrossed in their respective careers, especially All Might, who served as the pillar of peace in Japanese hero society, this break was a well-deserved respite.

All Might approached his role as a pro-hero with unwavering commitment. Taking a day off was a rarity, but this occasion prompted him to entrust his usual duties to other heroes who took this chance to make the limelight for themselves. After all, those pro-heroes could finally show their worth in front of the populace with All Might out for the day and snag one or two sponsors on the way.

After all, with All Might around, everyone would be attracted to him and his charismatic power and dedication. In contrast, the other pro-heroes would be somewhat sidelined under his shadow, like a particular flame hero.

"Calm down, Melissa," David reassured his daughter as they gradually made their way to the ice cream vendor. "The ice cream isn't going anywhere."

"Sorry, Yagi, you know how she is," David added with a hint of embarrassment. Nonetheless, Yagi cherished Melissa as if she were his daughter, and her impatience didn't faze him.

"Don't worry, David. Seeing Melissa like this brings me joy, too. It's a relief to witness her excitement, especially after everything she's been through," sighed Yagi, ruminating about the past incident.

David's smile faded as he looked at his spirited daughter with a complex mixture of emotions. "Since she found out she was quirkless, my sweet Melissa hasn't been the same. Hearing stories of your heroics hit her hard. She wanted to be a pro-hero herself."

Yagi regretfully admitted, "I probably shouldn't have mentioned that." He realized his words had inadvertently reopened old wounds.

David shook his head, offering a wry smile. "No, Yagi, don't blame yourself. I know you didn't mean any harm."

While both men carried a hint of sadness from their conversation, Melissa's impatience grew, and she pouted angrily, feeling no closer to getting her ice cream.

"Dad!"

"All right, sweetheart," David chuckled, finally reaching the ice cream vendor. The spot seemed a trendy hotspot, evidenced by the sizable queue in front of the store. Fortunately, the line moved swiftly, sparing them a lengthy wait.

The vendor warmly greeted the group, his eyes lighting up at the sight of the eager Melissa. "Well, hello there, dear customers! How may I treat you to some ice cream today?"

"I want chocolate!" Melissa exclaimed, her eyes gleaming with delight as she inspected the selection of ice cream flavours. However, her gaze fixated on the colossal tub of chocolate ice cream, a testament to her insatiable sweet tooth.

"Understood! One chocolate ice cream for our little princess. And what can I get for the two gentlemen?" the vendor asked, sporting a charming smile.

With a warm smile, David ordered a classic vanilla ice cream cone for himself. At the same time, All Might, in his civilian guise, decided to indulge in a scoop of strawberry, appreciating the simple pleasures of life.

Melissa's excitement bubbled over as the vendor skillfully prepared their ice creams. She couldn't contain her enthusiasm as she eagerly awaited her chocolate delight. Her bright eyes shone with anticipation, and her smile was infectious, warming the hearts of both men.

The vendor presented Melissa with her chocolate ice cream, adorned with a vibrant rainbow sprinkle topping, which made her eyes widen with wonder. "Here you go, little princess. Enjoy!" he said with a grin, handing her the treat.

Melissa's joy was palpable as she clutched the ice cream cone, her small hands barely able to contain the delicious creation. She took her first bite, savouring the rich chocolate flavour, and let out a delighted giggle.

David and All Might shared a knowing glance, appreciating this precious moment. It was a welcome break from the weighty responsibilities that often defined their lives. All Might couldn't help but smile, watching Melissa relish her ice cream, her innocence a reminder of what they fought to protect.

Ever the responsible father, David reached into his pocket and pulled out his wallet. He approached the vendor's stand with a friendly smile and asked, "How much do we owe you for these delightful treats?"

The vendor, still wearing a warm smile, quickly calculated the total. "That'll be 1,500 yen, please," he replied, holding his hand to receive the payment.

David handed over the required amount, including a little extra as a tip for the vendor's kindness. "Keep the change," he said, appreciating the vendor's friendly service.

The vendor graciously accepted the payment and the tip, expressing his gratitude with a nod. "Thank you very much! I hope you all had a wonderful time."

As they continued to stroll through the bustling streets of Musutafu, the trio encountered various sights and sounds of the city. Street performers showcased their talents, shops displayed colourful wares, and the city's energy enveloped them. Melissa's ice cream became a delightful distraction as she eagerly explored everything around her.

- Melissa Shield –

Melissa's eyes danced with curiosity as she took in the vibrant sights of the Japanese street. Although it wasn't her first voyage to Japan, the area her dad and uncle had chosen still astonished her with its breathtaking beauty.

Her father firmly held her hand, a protective gesture to ensure his beloved daughter wasn't lost amidst the bustling crowd. The streets were teeming with people, and more were pouring in, typical for the trendiest spot in Musutafu.

As they strolled leisurely, Melissa remained engrossed in her ice cream while the adults contemplated where to have lunch.

However, her focus was abruptly shattered as something unsettling caught her eye.

In a nearby alleyway, a man suddenly materialized, and what chilled Melissa to the bone was the gruesome state of the man. She tugged nervously at her father's hand. "Dad... Dad!"

Melissa's sudden change in demeanour took David and Yagi aback. They didn't waste a moment inquiring about what had shaken her. "What's wrong, sweetheart?"

"Look over there... someone's covered in blood!" Melissa's voice quivered with fear.

The expressions of both men shifted abruptly as they followed Melissa's trembling finger, locking eyes in grim understanding. Yagi swiftly transformed into his iconic All Might form and darted toward the alleyway.

The transformation startled those around them who hadn't anticipated encountering All Might in such close proximity.

"All Might!" Voices in the crowd erupted in recognition, drawing more attention.

David enveloped his daughter in a protective hug, his heart pounding with concern. While he didn't want to expose Melissa to such a distressing situation, he had no choice—she was the first witness. He reached for his phone to call the police, ensuring they were also alerted to the scene.

-  Yagi Toshinori (All Might) -

All Might sprang into action when he stumbled upon a gruesome scene in a dimly lit alley. A man lay there, battered and bloody, his injuries apparent even to All Might's trained eye.

"Bruises, burns, deep cuts…" All Might mumbled to himself, rapidly assessing the extent of the man's injuries. It was clear that the injuries resulted from a fierce battle, and the man's condition was dire.

The man seemed young, perhaps in his twenties, with a tall and slender build. His long black hair cascaded onto the ground, a broken hair tie nearby, and he wore a wholly shredded black suit with a tattered, long black coat.

Though the young man was somehow still alive, he appeared incredibly weak. All Might knew he needed immediate medical attention. Just as he was about to call for help, his friend David arrived, cradling little Melissa in his arms.

"I called for help. Don't worry," David reassured All Might. "How's the guy?"

All Might let out a sigh of relief upon seeing his friend. "Honestly, not great. This young man has been through a brutal ordeal. I'm not sure how he's still alive with these injuries."

David's anxiety eased slightly. "Do you think the assailant is still around?"

"No," All Might replied, scanning the area. "I didn't see anyone else here or any signs of the attacker. Besides, according to Melissa, she only saw this mysterious young man emerging from the alley."

Both men pondered the situation, wondering whether they should contact someone they could trust for assistance. From the corner of her eye, Melissa noticed the injured man stirring.

"Dad! Uncle! Look!" Melissa shouted, pointing to the struggling figure on the ground. All Might and David immediately turned their attention to the injured man.

Struggling to open his eyes, the man attempted to stand up. But before he could, All Might gently pushed him back down. "Calm down, young man! Don't move; your injuries are severe. Medical help is on the way!"

"What... Urk..." the man managed to mutter, coughing up blood. Clearly, he was still disoriented and didn't fully grasp his situation.

After a few minutes of struggle, the young man finally regained some clarity and took in his surroundings, meeting the concerned gazes of All Might, Melissa, and David.

"Who are you...? No, never mind that. What about Thanos and Lilith? Did we win?" he asked, his breath heavy.

David and All Might exchanged puzzled glances. 'English,' they both thought simultaneously.

Clearly, the mysterious man was a foreigner.

His question left them in silence; they did not know of anyone named Thanos or Lilith.

"Thanos? Lilith? I'm sorry, we don't know who they are. Are you talking about some villains?" David asked, his skepticism evident.

The man, however, looked at them incredulously. "What are you talking about!? How can you not know about Thanos and Lilith...!" He coughed up more blood, his frustration palpable.

"All right, all right, calm down!" All Might said anxiously, covering the man's mouth gently.

Rolling his eyes, the man closed his eyes, lying on the cold ground. This simple action sent both All Might and David into a panic.

"W-wait! Don't close your eyes yet! You can still be saved!" David implored.

"Yeah, All Might is right. Don't follow the light!" All Might added.

The man sighed and glared at them resentfully. "Shut up... I need to concentrate."

His actions seemed to work wonders. Both men watched in amazement as the man's wounds began closing and his bruises faded.

"Healing Quirk!" All Might thought in astonishment. Such Quirks were exceptionally rare in their line of work and often kept under tight security, considered national treasures.

They wanted to learn more about the man, but exhaustion washed over him, and he fell asleep. David and All Might decided to wait for the medics, giving the young man a chance to rest.

Unfortunately, their solitude didn't last as a crowd had gathered during the incident, including reporters who were drawn to the sight of All Might and David Shield together.

Microphones were thrust toward them, and Melissa became frightened by the chaos. Some reporters even snapped photos of the unconscious man on the ground.

"All Might! How's the man doing?"

"Do you know him?"

"What's the deal with this Thanos and Lilith character?"

"Did you find where Thanos or Lilith went?"

"Is he a new pro-hero?"

"Is he a foreigner?"

David lost his patience with the reporters, especially those who had frightened his daughter. Even All Might's perpetual smile faded. All Might raised his voice to regain control of the situation.

"CALM DOWN, EVERYONE! THIS IS A CRIME SCENE, AND THE VICTIM NEEDS MEDICAL ATTENTION! PLEASE KEEP YOUR DISTANCE AND MAKE SOME PLACE FOR THE MEDICS! THANK YOU!"

The crowd settled briefly before erupting even more fervently, sensing a scoop.

"Oh, dear," All Might muttered, rubbing his temples. He could only wait patiently for the professionals to arrive amidst the chaotic scene.

- ???  –

In a sterile, eerily quiet hospital room, a young man stirred from his slumber under the fluorescent glow of overhead lights. His eyelids, heavy with sleep, reluctantly opened, revealing a pair of weary and disoriented eyes. As consciousness seeped back into his mind, he took in his surroundings, a blinding white room stretching endlessly in every direction. The unmistakable scent of antiseptic hung in the air, assaulting his senses and confirming his location.

The young man's heart began to race as he tried to piece together his memory. It was all a blur—flashes of chaos, a looming threat, and that dreaded snap. He recalled the terror of that moment, the feeling of disintegration as if he were turning to dust. He had been part of a team of heroes fighting against a formidable adversary, and they had all vanished in the blink of an eye.

Yet, here he was, lying on a hospital bed, his body and senses intact. Confusion clouded his thoughts, and his voice barely more than a whisper, he muttered, "How..."

He ran his fingers through his hair, dishevelled from a restless sleep, and attempted to sit up. The soft rustling of the hospital sheets seemed to echo loudly in the room's silence. The machines hooked up to him and their blinking lights and soft hum were the only companions in this stark, lonely place.

With each passing moment, the young man's bewilderment deepened. Was this some aftermath of the battle? Had they somehow survived Thanos's devastating snap? Or was this a dream, a twisted illusion playing tricks on his mind by Lilith?

He suddenly worried about his team from the Midnight Suns and wondered if they were still alive like him. He went through his memory as he suddenly recalled talking with two men before he collapsed in exhaustion. However, this memory didn't help him but confused him even more.

His gaze fell to the large window at the far end of the room, its curtains drawn tight, blocking the outside world. He longed to pull them back, to see what lay beyond, but he hesitated, a feeling of unease settling in his chest. The answers he sought, the truth of his situation, remained frustratingly out of reach.

As he contemplated his next move, he couldn't help but wonder if he was alone in this strange hospital room or if others from his team had also returned from the brink of oblivion. The uncertainty weighed heavily on him, and he knew that unravelling the mysteries of his problem would be no simple task.

The young man's contemplation was interrupted by the sudden entrance of a nurse. Her eyes widened in shock as she saw the patient awaken. She froze momentarily, her hand still gripping the door handle, surprise etched across her face.

"Doctor!" shouted the nurse as she quickly retreated from the room, her footsteps echoing down the sterile hallway. The urgency in her actions was palpable, and the young man's heart raced even faster. He couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding wash over him.

'Japanese…. Did I end up in Japan?' thought the man.

Minutes passed, each one feeling like an eternity, before the door to the room swung open again, revealing a middle-aged doctor in a white coat. His expression was curious and concerned as he stepped inside, closing the door behind him.

"Good heavens," the doctor muttered under his breath, his eyes fixed on the young man. "You are finally awake."

The young man, his anxiety growing with each passing second, mustered the strength to speak. "Please, tell me what's happening. Where am I? How did I get here?"

The doctor, known as Heaven Canceller, regarded the young man with a compassionate expression as he began to explain the situation. "I'm Heaven Canceller, your attending physician. You were discovered in a dire state by none other than All Might and his esteemed companion, David Shield. They rushed you to Musutafu Hospital, where our medical team immediately tended to your injuries. Remarkably, it appears your quirk played a pivotal role in your recovery, expediting the healing process. Rest is all that's left to ensure your complete recovery."

The young man licked his dry lips in thought from the information he received in this small instance. 'All Might? David Shield? Are they famous or something, but also Musutafu? I don't remember such a place in Japan… but also quirk?'

Suddenly, the ward door swung open again, revealing an assembly of people entering.

First to enter was All Might, his towering figure commanding immediate attention. His iconic presence radiated strength and determination as he stepped inside. Following closely behind him was David Shield, dressed in his distinctive black suit, his sharp mind already racing to comprehend the situation. Accompanying them was a little girl, the daughter of David Shield.

Bringing up the rear was Naomasa Tsukauchi, the dedicated detective police officer known for relentlessly pursuing justice and his partner Eizo Tanuma.

Heaven Canceller, the attending physician, acknowledged their arrival with a nod. "All Might, David, Tsukauchi and Eizo, thank you for coming. I just finished talking with our guest."

"Ah, thank you for your work again, doctor." Responded All Might with a smile. The doctor nodded, his smile a reassuring presence in the room. Heaven Canceller, having fulfilled his role, quietly exited the ward.

Although the man was unconscious in the hospital, the police wasted no time investigating his identity and circumstances, searching through his tattered clothes and databases but finding nothing concrete. They had even reached out for international assistance, yet their efforts had yielded no results.

Tsukauchi met Edward's gaze, contemplating his words for a moment. Finally, he replied, "English or Japanese?"

"Either one is fine, detective," replied the men in perfect Japanese. He learned many languages, and Japanese was one of them.

"I am Tsukauchi Naomasa, a detective from Musutafu," Tsukauchi began, his voice carrying a hint of formality. "I'd like to ask you some questions about your situation if you don't mind."

A brief silence settled in the room as they waited for Edward to continue. He let out a sigh, signalling his readiness to cooperate. "Sure, go ahead, detective. But I won't answer everything you ask, and I have some questions of my own."

Tsukauchi nodded and began his line of questioning, the group, including All Might and the Shield family, listening intently.

"First of all, I'd like to know your name, if you don't mind," Tsukauchi inquired.

"... My name is Edward Igarashi," Edward responded.

Tsukauchi exchanged a meaningful look with his partner, Eizo, who quickly left the ward with his radio.

"Where am I?" asked Edward.

Tsukauchi's forehead wrinkled in thought. "Musutafu, Japan."

Tsukauchi then continued. "Where are you from?"

"Born in Japan but raised in the States."

"What are quirks?" asked Edward, who attracted everyone in the room's confusion.

Tsukauchi still stayed professional and answered the question. "They are superhuman abilities that people on Earth can have."

'Somewhat similar to the mutants…' thought Edward as he recalled a certain blond girl in his team.

Tsukauchi continued with his inquiries, seeking to understand the nature of the conflict Edward had been involved in. "Who were you fighting against?"

"Thanos and Lilith," Edward answered.

"Alone?" Tsukauchi pressed.

"No, I was with my team and half the Avengers," Edward replied.

The mention of the Avengers raised eyebrows, and Tsukauchi probed further. "Who are the Avengers?"

Edward confused before responding, "The Avengers are a team of superheroes, the first line of defence against the most powerful threats in the universe."

The group exchanged puzzled glances at the mention of such a pro-heroes team, as they had no recollection of such a team existing.

"Do you know someone named Tony Stark or Stark Industry?" Edward asked.

"...No," Tsukauchi replied.

"Who are Thanos and Lilith?" Tsukauchi continued.

"Powerful threats," Edward offered.

"Are you a vigilante?" Tsukauchi asked, his tone carrying a weight of importance.

Edward looked genuinely perplexed by the question. "You can say that." He was honestly surprised as he thought this fact was already established. It's not like being a superhero is a job recognized by the government.

Edward's next question confused the group even more. "Does the Chitauri Invasion mean something to you?"

Tsukauchi sighed, realizing the gap in their knowledge. "Unfortunately, no."

"Do you know someone named All For One?" Tsukauchi asked with a hint of tension, his gaze now focused on Edward's response.

"...Who?" Edward responded, clearly puzzled.

Tsukauchi sighed with relief, and even All Might seemed to relax.

"Do you know Loki or Thor?" asked Edward with some thoughts, only to receive a weird look.

Tsukauchi considered his answer carefully before speaking. "We know about those Norse gods, but beyond that..."

Tsukauchi, now seemingly satisfied with his line of questioning, posed one last query with a serious tone. "Then, Edward Igarashi, who are you?"

Edward rose from his hospital bed and walked toward the window, ignoring the detectives' tension and All Might's watchful gaze. "My name is Edward Igarashi, Master of the Mystic Arts and a member of the Midnight Suns. However, I assume that means little here."

"Yes..." Tsukauchi replied with a measure of gravity.

A heavy silence filled the room as both parties remained on edge, neither daring to make a move.

"Edward Igarashi, you are under arrest for vigilantism and illegal use of your quirk," Tsukauchi declared with a sigh. "Please come with us for further investigation."

Edward, however, surprised everyone by declining. "Unfortunately, I can't."

"Why?" All Might asked, concern lacing his voice.

"I have too many questions to solve than be arrested," Edward replied cryptically.

"We can help you," David Shields offered, his voice sincere.

Edward, however, remained resolute. "No... I don't think so. It was nice meeting all of you, but I must depart."

With those words, a portal of fiery orange flames appeared behind Edward, and he stepped through it, disappearing from the ward.

Everyone was left stunned, their questions unanswered. "Impossible, doesn't he have a healing quirk?" David muttered, his confusion echoing the sentiments of the room.

Heaven Canceller returned to the ward with a nurse, taking in the bewildered expressions. "Is everything done here? My patient needs some rest—Oh my, he is not here anymore... How troublesome."

Silence prevailed as the room grappled with the inexplicable events that had just transpired, leaving behind more questions than answers.

- Tsukauchi Naomosa -

"So that's how it went, Nezu. If you have any insight, it would be beneficial for us." Said Tsukauchi as he presented the notes and recordings he took during the investigation of the person named Edward Igarashi.

Tsukauchi found himself in the U.A. High School headmaster's room, flanked by Japan's foremost hero, All Might, the brilliant scientist David Shield, and the experienced detective Eizo. They had convened to discuss the enigmatic figure they had encountered.

Meanwhile, David's daughter, Melissa played with Recovery Girl in the infirmary, blissfully unaware of the ongoing conversation. David had decided to shield her from the weighty discussion, believing it best not to involve her in this particular matter.

Their collective curiosity had led them to seek the counsel of Nezu, the highly intelligent and genetically modified mouse who served as the headmaster of U.A High School. His unique appearance and heightened intelligence were the result of experiments conducted on him, granting him human-level intellect and the ability to communicate fluently with humans.

Nezu meticulously examined every piece of information Tsukauchi had provided, his silence broken only by the occasional chuckle that left the room somewhat unnerved. After absorbing all the details, Nezu closed his eyes, taking a joyous sip of his tea. "I must say, Toshinori, but you found an interesting person."

"I must say, Toshinori, you've stumbled upon a truly fascinating individual."

Yagi Toshinori, now devoid of his All Might persona, was perplexed by Nezu's cryptic statement. He could only scratch his head in wonder. "I don't understand, Nezu."

With a grin, Nezu chose to elucidate the situation. "It's quite simple, really. There is compelling evidence surrounding this Edward Igarashi mystery. Allow me to elaborate."

Tsukauchi signalled to Eizo to record Nezu's forthcoming insights. The room's occupants listened intently as Nezu began to unravel the enigma.

"From the information I've received, I can conclude that this man may not belong to our world."

David Shield was the first to refute Nezu's audacious assertion vehemently. He leaned forward, "Nezu, I've dedicated my life to studying science and technology, and no credible evidence suggests that parallel worlds or alternate dimensions exist. What you're proposing is pure science fiction."

Nezu, ever calm and collected, raised an eyebrow, not in the least bit perturbed by David's skepticism. "David, while your doubt is justified, consider this. Our world has undergone immense changes with the introduction of quirks. Just a few decades ago, people would have scoffed at the idea of humans possessing such abilities. The boundaries of possibility are continually being stretched."

Amid the discussion, David interjected, firmly asserting his position. "Still, Nezu, you can't base your theory on conjecture alone. We need concrete evidence to entertain the idea of someone from another world."

Nezu's grin persisted, his eyes sparkling with intrigue. "Of course, my dear friends. Let me clarify. I'm not proposing this as an absolute certainty but rather a hypothesis worth exploring. There have been anomalies in Edward Igarashi's behaviour and abilities that defy logical explanations. As rational thinkers, we should keep an open mind and delve deeper into the mystery."

With a nod, Nezu concluded, "Even Tsukauchi started to entertain the possibility."

Eizo, eager for reassurance, turned to Tsukauchi. "Hey, hey, he's wrong, right, partner?"

Tsukauchi frowned and shook his head, providing a measured response. "I don't fully believe it, but as Nezu said, Edward Igarashi's abnormal behaviour and abilities can explain some of those points. Yet, Nezu's idea holds a grain of truth."

Tsukauchi continued, addressing the room's lingering doubts. "Moreover, during our questioning, Edward asked about quirks, something that is very common in our world, and he displayed genuine confusion. What if he was deprived of this kind of knowledge? While that's a possibility, it's unlikely for an adult like him not to have learned about quirks in some other way."

David, ever the scientist, mused, "Could he have had his memories altered or erased?"

Tsukauchi nodded. "That's a possibility, but it would require a level of technology and expertise beyond what we know to be available or a powerful quirk."

The discussion shifted as Tsukauchi presented new findings. "Additionally, we discovered something unusual. After Edward escaped the ward, we reviewed surveillance footage and found that he vanished from the camera's view. It's like he possesses some form of invisibility capability with his already heavy abilities."

Toshinori's expression darkened. "Could this be linked to All For One?"

"…"

Nezu was the first to break the silence, promptly dismissing Toshinori's suggestion with conviction. "Impossible. I find it highly unlikely that All For One would generously bestow powerful quirks upon an individual who is not under his direct influence. Furthermore, when Tsukauchi inquired about him, Edward displayed genuine bewilderment."

"What if All For One went by another name?" suggested Eizo.

Toshinori rejected the notion. "Impossible. All For One's ego and pride is too immense to hide under an alias. He revels in his infamy."

Tsukauchi affirmed, "Indeed, All For One has been a villain for decades, and his arrogance is a defining trait."

Tsukauchi continued, "Another intriguing point is that Edward was astonished when we didn't know about 'Avengers,' 'Tony Stark,' and 'Stark Industries.' It seemed genuine, not feigned."

David considered this revelation. "Could it be that he's from a world where these references are important?"

The room's occupants contemplated the newly presented evidence, each lost in their own thoughts. The enigma of Edward Igarashi had grown even more complex, leaving them with more questions than answers.

David, deep in thought, chimed in, "Or perhaps he's been isolated or hidden away from our world for a significant period because of his powers."

Nezu nodded in agreement. "Both possibilities are valid considerations. We must explore each options thoroughly."

Eizo, always practical, summarized their current understanding, "So, we have an individual with many extraordinary abilities, gaps in knowledge about quirks, and invisibility, healing and portal powers. He's either from a parallel world, an isolated environment, or a combination of both."

Nezu concluded with a firm tone, "Indeed, my friends. Caution and thoroughness are of the utmost importance. We must tread carefully if we intend to uncover the truth behind his origin and abilities."

Suddenly, Nezu's countenance shifted to one of deep concern. "But what about potential adversaries? If someone of his calibre truly came from another world, what about his foes?"

Tsukauchi, his expression mirroring the gravity of the situation, rose from his chair abruptly. "Lilith and Thanos?"

Nezu nodded solemnly. "Indeed. If individuals as formidable as our newfound guest were to emerge in our world, the consequences could be catastrophic."

Tsukauchi, understanding the urgency of the matter, wasted no time. "I need to inform our superiors, Nezu. Thank you for your invaluable insights."

Nezu offered a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, Tsukauchi. After all, we share the same world."

With that, Tsukauchi and Eizo left the room, his thoughts racing as he considered the potential implications of their discovery. The mystery of Edward Igarashi had taken on a new dimension, one that could have far-reaching consequences for their world and its delicate balance of power.
