Chapter 184: The Main Event

After all the students gave up and left back to the stands, Principal Nezu came back with a giant smile on his face. He saw the rapid growth of many of the students but was a little more excited to now introduce the main event.

P. Nezu: LET'S GIVE A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR THOSE STUDENTS WHO TRIED TO CLEAR THE EVENT!!!!

A great applause resounded throughout the stadium.

P. Nezu: SINCE NONE WERE ABLE TO MAKE IT TO THE END I WILL AT LEAST GRANT YOU A FULL LETTER GRADE TO A CLASS OF YOUR CHOOSING FOR PARTICIPATING!!

A roar of cheers came out this time.

R. Student 1: Fuck yes! Now I won't have complete failing grades.

R. Student 2: Dumbass. Study and you would've had an extra grade in the bank.

Kaminari: Thank god I tried my luck.

Ashido: Ditto, hahaha.

Mineta: Shit! I could've had more passing grades than failing if I would've tried.

Mineta wasn't the only one who didn't try from class A. Koji Koda also stayed in his seat.

Back on the field.

P. Nezu: NOW, FOR THE MOMENT YOU AND I BOTH HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!! THE MAIN EVENT!!! WE WILL GET TO SEE HERO RANKING NUMBER ONE, ALL MIGHT!!!!!! VERSUS SAGE!!!!!!!

A loud roar came from the students and faculty. The majority of the students other than class A did not know who I was before the exhibition. The fight with All Might would not have been highly received if he was the one to start it off but now, everyone was looking forward to it. All Might appeared in his Golden Age costume with his usual smile. As All Might was walking to me at the center of the field, his muscles and body size were growing.

In the student stands.

Momo: Is All Might-sensei getting bigger?

Tsuyu: You're not wrong, every few steps he takes he's getting bigger.

Hanta Sero: For some reason he was smaller, not in a weak way but less muscular. Now he's returning to his original size.

Whispered in Midoriya's ear.

Bakugou: Oy, Deku, All Might was thinner when you and him came back, right?

Midoriya: Yeah, we trained with Sage-sensei, maybe he also gave some tips to All Might.

Midoriya knew why All Might was getting bigger. All Might was readying himself for the fight.

Back on the field.

Sage: Try not to hold back. I wanna see what 100 percent you amounts to.

All Might: I already know. (Clenches fists) The moment I lose focus will be fatal.

Normally, the one who should be announcing the fights and everything else, should have gone to Present Mic but Principal Nezu was too excited by the idea. Principal Nezu gave the announcements back to Present Mic so that he could get a better seat to watch the fight.

Present Mic: NOW THAT I HAVE CONTROL OVER THE ANNOUNCEMENTS AGAIN, STUDENTS, FACULTY AND FRIENDS!!!!! THE MAIN EVENT WILL BEGIN, NOW!!!!!

At first, All Might and I did not make a move. A minute passed by and finally, All Might rushed me.

All Might: Let's start big! TEXAS SMASH!!!!!!

Sage: Hahaha, BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!

I met his attack with my own. Our fists collided and the torrents of air bursted out wildly. All Might wasn't surprised when his strongest attack not only did it not work, but was easily canceled out by my casual attack. All Might made a bigger smile then what he had before. My smile matched his as we engaged in another collision.

Sage: This is something I learned from a friend, San Ren Kugi Punch! (Three times Nail Punch)

I slammed my fist in the pit of his stomach, almost like a ballistic missile, All Might was propelled to the other side of the field and collided with the barrier I reinforced.

All Might: That was quite the punch, really dug in deep. Huh?

Pow, pow, pow. Three more delayed hits impacted All Might's stomach, leaving him suspended in the air for a few seconds. All Might was bewildered as he looked and checked on his stomach to see if I hit him three more times

All Might: A nail indeed. My Turn. NEW HAMPSHIRE SMASH!

All Might propelled himself to me at high speed.

All Might: PLUS CAROLINA SMASH!!!!!

Sage: COME ON! YOU'RE STILL NOT UTILIZING RIGHT!!!!

I let his X-shaped attack hit me directly on my chest. Other than the resounding boom, whirling winds and my ripped shirt, it left no mark on my body. His attack didn't even move me from my position, can't say much about my surroundings though. I let out a breath and smoke came out.

Sage: Stop trying to restrain it, use it, feel it, evolve it, control it and become it! It is you, you are it. All your effort and, this is all you can do? What was the point of me training you? What was the point of me restoring you if all you are doing is going back to what you did before?

I gave All Might a quick punch to the chest, although small, it pushed him to the edge of the field.

All Might: Impossible. How can he slightly punch me but still push me this far?

I flashed behind him.

Sage: Because, even though you had One-For-All for all those years, your usage of it is shit.

I slightly kicked him into the air. I flashed behind him again and spiked him into the ground. Everything within the barrier looked as if a mega quake just happened. I landed down and picked up All Might from the collar.

Sage: I feel highly disappointed with you All Might. All you managed to do was reduce your muscle mass by compressing it. You have yet to fully tap into your quirk.

All Might shook his head and threw a punch at my face aimed at my chin. The surrounding area was pushed away but did no damage to me. With his fist still on my cheek and a bewildered expression on his I looked at him.

Sage: See. If you would've taken what I have told you seriously, your punch wouldn't be this weak.

At the faculty section.

P. Nezu: Weak?! That punch demolished everthing surrounding him and he calls it weak.

Aizawa: Principal, from what I have gathered, Sage is trying to teach All Might to go beyond what you just saw. If the punch he just took was what All Might is capable of, Sage is making All Might stronger through force.

P. Nezu: That's right. They went through the training so I thought the whole purpose was to restore All Might but Sage was expecting more.

Back on the field.

Sage: I can not exactly show you what your power can do but I can show you an equivalent.

I threw All Might a bit further from the center of the field. I adjusted my strength to the power I originally thought All Might was capable of. He may not be able to blast the Earth or Moon with an energy beam but he could still have enough strength to alter it. The power reference I used was when Goku first fought Vegeta on Earth. When I adjusted my power I let the energy equivalent to my reference. Those that can feel, sense or read energy should be among the students, faculty and guests.

All Might: Amazing. He really thinks that I am able to reach that amount of power.

I flashed next to him.

Sage: Of course you can. You're only holding yourself back. Honestly, I may be the only person in this world who can take you on 100 percent and still beat you. I don't know whether you're holding back because you have figured something out that makes you hold back, or you truly believe that you can beat me the way you are.

All Might: Don't regret it later.

Sage: What's there to regret? You haven't amounted to anything before me yet.

All Might: Then, DON'T MIND IF I DO!!!!!!

I smiled as All Might rushed at me with a usual punch but the force used is much more than his regular Smash attack Techniques. Finally, he is trying to break his wall.
