Jasmine's pov
"What are you boys talking about?" I asked them as I sat beside Liam.
I planned to make him jealous by saying I was going to meet Alfred in the hotel.
Things took an unexpected turn when he asked me where I was going. He was jealous about Alfred.
I confirmed about his feelings for me but he was still holding on to Rachel.
"Nothing just work stuff," Liam said and scratched his head nervously.
"I hope you like your new home, Jasmin," Alex winked and I rolled my eyes.
Liam knew Alfred was just a plan to make him jealous and it was surprising. "Yes, I am," I replied.
"That's perfect, I want us to have a dinner double date tonight," Alex said, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
"That's a perfect idea, who is your plus one?" Liam asked raising an eyebrow.
"My new girlfriend," Alex grinned.
"Who?" Liam and I asked in sync.
"Samantha," he replied, my jaw dropped in shock.
"My high school best friend, what the fuck are you doing with her?" I asked.
"Just using her to pass time," Alex said as he shrugged nonchalantly.
"Liam, talk to your best friend. He is not taking life seriously," I threw Liam a pleading look.
"See you guys tonight," Alex said before he left. I shook my head at his child-like behavior.
"Let's go and have lunch in a restaurant," I suggested, feeling the need to escape the tension.
"Good idea," he nodded. We retreated to our rooms to change.
I wore a black long gown with a slit up my thigh revealing my long leg.
I pulled my hair out of the hair band and making it fall on my shoulders. A little bit of makeup to define my features as well.
I went outside the room and Liam was at the door.
He wore a black pants with a white T-shirt. The outfit was simple yet he took my breath away.
"Wow, you look breathtaking," he said as his eyes roamed all over my body which made me smile.
"Like what you see?" I asked and he grabbed my hand pulling me closer to him.
"I love what I see," he muttered, his voice barely a whisper and I grinned.
The feeling of his body against mine made me shiver.
"Let's go," he said and we left the house to the car.
The ride to the restaurant was quiet but there was thick tension between us.
We stepped out of the car holding hands and entered into the restaurant while we avoided the paparazzi.
"This place is really nice," I said to Liam and he nodded. The restaurant was chic and it has a cool vibe.
Everyone was dressed in expensive gowns and suits.
"Good afternoon, what can I get you?" A waitress said to us immediately we settled down.
"Pasta and red wine please," Liam ordered. "Same," I said as well and she left.
"What do you plan on doing now?" Liam asked me and I sighed.
"I plan on opening my own clothing line. I love fashion so I want to go fully into it," I explained.
"That's a really good idea. Do you want money or my help?" He offered and I shook my head.
"I have enough money to take care of myself, Liam," I pointed out. He didn't say anything after that.
I was pressed so I told him I was going to the restroom and he nodded. I entered into the restroom and did my business.
Someone entered, my heart raced at the thought of the mysterious person entering.
"Hello Mrs West," a male voice said and when he finally appeared, he wore a mask.
"Who are you?" I asked in a shaky voice.
He walked closer to me and I walked backwards till my back hit the wall.
"I'm your husband's nightmare," he said with a chuckle. I flinched when he tried to touch me and he laughed.
"Get off me else I will yell for help," I tried to scare him away but he laughed again.
"You wouldn't dare," he muttered, he brought his face closer to mine and I turned my head.
I gasped when he pressed a cold metal to my thigh. Tears filled my eyes at the feeling.
"What do you want? I have money, I have houses and cars. You can tell me please don't kill me," I cried.
"Where is your husband?" He demanded. "What do you want from him?" I asked him back and he slapt me.
Tears poured out of my eyes uncontrollably. "Where is Liam?" He asked me again, holding me roughly this time.
"He is in the restaurant," I replied. "Tell him i'm coming for him," he said.
"What do you want from us?," I asked him in a soft voice because I didn't want to annoy him.
"Your husband took what's mine forcefully. I want to have my revenge and I will start from you," he threatened and walked out.
I drew in deep breaths to calm myself. My mind was filled with a lot of thoughts about liam and his relationship with the man who has a gun.
He said he was coming for me and it made me scared. I walked out of the restroom with shaky legs.
"Jasmine, why did you take a long time at the restroom?" Liam asked me.
"Let's go, Liam," I said and he frowned.
"Why? Why do you look so worried?" He questioned with worry on his face.
"Let's go now!" I yelled without caring about causing a scene.
Liam stood up and followed me outside. I look around, i felt someone was watching me.
"Jasmine, what's going on?" He asked me when we were in the car.
I didn't respond, I was still traumatized by what happened earlier.
I wasn't safe anymore all because of Liam. That man could have killed me for something I knew nothing about.
"Jasmine," he called again as he touched my lap, I slapt his hand away.
"What is wrong with you?" He yelled this time angrily.
"You are the problem, Liam. Tell me the reason why I was threatened by a gun in the restroom just because of you!" I yelled back and his jaw dropped in shock.
