{Blizzard}!
*Whoosh~*
The air suddenly became visible, shrowding the room in fog, before the ground turned into ice, spreading up to the legs of the goblins.
Two of the goblins were easily able to break the ice, but the others... they weren't so lucky.
"Now!" Elizebeth shouted.
*Screech~*
Ignoring their shouts, Kyle nodded, going into the fray.
Sam saw that the Hobgoblins were ready to attack, and had already casted {Taunt} on them.
The two hobgoblins were trying to get to him, but the spell {Blizzard} had been constantly regenerating, and attaching themselves to their legs, slowing their speed by an extremely large margin.
For the other goblins, due to the existence of the hobgoblins, the 'good' resources went to them, so they were weaker than the goblin group during the warm-up.
To them, Kyle's fist was impending doom to them whether then or now, they panicked.
*Screech~*
*Boom~*
Several goblins were blown away from the impact of his fist, the {Blizzard} was surprisingly strong, even able to resist his full-powered fist!
"Don't worry about the ice, keep going! We'll need your support soon." Elizebeth shouted, throwing a few sharpened icicles towards the hobgoblins to slow them down.
Kyle pursed his lips, nodded, and went back into action.
The hobgoblins were slowed, but that didn't stop them from reaching Sam and Elizebeth.
Due to the natural debuff of {Blizzard}, their attacks were much slower and weaker, allowing Sam to easily block their attacks with his enchanted shield.
*Bam~ Pah~*
Sam wasn't just going to sit there while they bash away at his shield, so while they were still stunned at the vibrations that shocked their arms, he bashed them onto the ground.
*Boom~*
One by one, Kyle was one-shotting every single goblin in his sight, even though their actions were completely inhuman in his view, they were monsters, so he just gave them a quick death.
*Boom~*
Elizebeth turned to Kyle who was going half-berserk towards goblins, "Could you lower your power? I'm sure that they would still die in one shot... without breaking my ice. It's hard maintaining this when it keeps breaking." She glared.
Feeling her glare, even though the noise that the other goblins made it hard to hear even half of what she was saying, he could feel the meaning behind the glare.
'Ugh... you said it was fine a few seconds ago...' He complained in his mind.
Elizebeth could tell that he got it, and turned back to help Sam with the hobgoblins.
She was about to cast another spell, but something pushed her down to the ground.
*Boom~*
Suddenly, everyone felt an oppressive aura around them, making everyone fall down in cold sweat.
"W-what... the hell...?" Kyle cursed.
The aura got stronger as if it was getting closer, making everyone, even the hobgoblins hold their breath.
For Elizebeth, who was the only one with enough spiritual and mental strength to resist it, she looked towards the entrance they came from.
As if they were let go, Sam and the others felt that their bodies could move once again, but the oppressive force on the goblins never stopped.
"What strong aura..." Sam marveled.
*Step~ Step~ Step~*
Sam and the others could tell that whoever this was, they were definitely on their side. All of a sudden, they remembered that this was just a simulation, so there can't be any hidden dangers.
*Whoosh~*
"Is everyone alright? I couldn't control the direction of my aura for a second there, sorry."
The figure was David, who had a small apologetic smile on his face.
"Don't worry, it's not as bad as you think." Sam tapped his chest.
Everyone quickly picked up their gear, turning to the remaining goblins.
Looking at the number of dead goblins, David was slightly amazed, "You guys did very well..."
"Of course! We may not be as good as you, but we can still handle ourselves." Kyle cut him off.
They had all experienced how strong David was, even on the mana scale, Elizebeth was completely destroyed in that aspect.
They were now all completely convinced with his strength and their doubts about David 'bragging' about how he defeated Mr. Gluri became more believable now.
"Alright, I'll be outside if you need me."
This was a simulation, might as well give them some experience, even if they get wounded, it would be better for their growth.
He released his aura, letting the goblins move again.
*Whoosh~*
David didn't give it any thought, leaving the scene as if nothing had happened in the area.
*Silence...*
Everyone... even the goblins looked at each other. The snow and ice had melted, and they were all 'free'.
Well... just the hobgoblins actually, the weaker goblins were weakened to the state where David's aura had instantly incapacitated.
Seeing that basically everyone on their side couldn't fight anymore, the hobgoblins wanted to use them as meat shields.
*Bam~*
The same hobgoblin was decked in the face by Kyle, thrown across the room.
"Elizebeth, Sam, and I are going to go after the hobgobs, take care of the other incapacitated goblins!" He shouted, jumping at the hobgoblins.
"Got it!"
She turned to look at the goblins coldly.
They could feel her glare, but their bodies were so... damaged, that they couldn't even feel the cold sweat or pain.
*Screech~*
*Bam~*
Sam looked at Kyle who was beating the absolute crap out of the hobgoblins, and Elizebeth, who was slowly killing each goblin, one by one.
'Scary... she wasn't like this in the past.' Sam shivered.
Everyone in there took their time. While Sam didn't have anything to do, he still stayed in case something happened.
A bit later, the goblins were mutilated. Some were dead with a slash, some had no limbs, decapitated, whatever you could think of.
Elizebeth summoned a small ball of water, cleaning herself.
"We're done, Sam. We can go now!" She walked up to him, waving at his blank face.
"Ah! Yes, sorry about that." He stood up.
Kyle cleaned his glove, "It's fine, David should be waiting for us."
