A Reincarnator's Journey

David Valor, a normal sophomore student, dies in a cliche 'truck-kun' accident just to get sent to another world by the system! Using the 'true' system, he slowly rises to the top of the food chain before truly begining his adventure! (David may not be a "Good" Mc as I want to write it in a way of what I would do if I was in this situation myself. Of course there will also be some things different than what I think as well.) *** Note: I have no real plans for this story, it was made on a whim, so it may lose quality on the way, please read with caution! Schedule: I'm still in school so updates will also be somewhat slow, also, english is not my first language so please comment if I wrote something wrong! Thank you for reading!

Civilization At Last!

Because of multiple attributes reaching 50+, it gave David pricks all around him, jolting him awake, and looking all around him alert. Seeing that it was morning, David stretched and began running to the nearest village at extreme speeds as he does need to train his agility to 50 as all of his attributes seem to have a small breakthrough, except for vitality and spirit.

On the way, he checked himself and decided to change some features, so that he would be a "normal" demi-human. A tail and horns do tell something about you being a dragon, so he decided to discard the horns, make the ears longer and keep the tail, just smaller.

The village was only a few hundred meters away after running for an hour to get there. Of course, David spent much more time because he was eliminating the bandit/mercenary camps that held slaves.

Seeing the clothes that they wore, David also changed his clothes as well. Because of the people he killed, some up close, some far away, he did have blood on him, coupled with his clothes, he could come up with a story about running away from some beast.

He reached the village soon after and telling them the story he came up with, they all sympathized with him, especially since it was proven with the blood of his "Party members", as the village was full of cat and dog demihumans who has great senses.

The village wasn't that small or big, nor was it poor. They had stable wood and stone houses, decent clothes and the children are living happily. An average, somewhat prosperous village where demi-humans can live in peace.

"Thank you for taking me in!" David smiled gratefully and bowed.

"No need boy! You're one of us demi-humans! Ha!" A farmer patted his back.

"He's right! Since your a demi-human as well, we welcome you with open arms!" An old lady said.

"Mn!" David genuinely smiled this time, stunning some of the younger girls in the village.

'Handsome!' the girls thought.

(A/N: I'm a man... let me god damn give you an exaggerated image in your mind damn it!)

"Oh yes! You can wash up at the river! It's empowered by mana, making it able to clean itself..." The old lady saw that he was about to speak again and replied first, knowing what he was going to ask.

"Thank you." David bowed again before cleaning himself off at the river and quickly changed his clothes.

Coming back, he asked around the village for different types of info as even though the system was there, it didn't tell him much, and he was fine with it as he wanted to get used to collecting information and rely on himself.

He did avoid some topics like the adventurers guild and stuff like that, but just some directions for the other larger cities or kingdoms with the excuse of being here for the first time as he was lost.

Going around the small village, David was able to get some sort of info, but it seems like he needed to explore most of it himself as they were quite secluded.

He actually stayed for the night and insisted on camping outside as he didn't want to impose on the villagers anymore since he was only here for the night before going somewhere else.

Although the villagers also insisted on him staying for at least another day since they don't get visitors often, they let him go as he did look like he was in a hurry.

**(Next Day)**

David had already left as soon as the first light came out, heading to a direction that would relatively lead him to a city to go register as an adventurer or something like that.

He also checked with his {Mini-Map} to make sure that he was going in the right direction.

As he gained more experience and with nothing much to do, he looked at the beginner's guide again only to see a bit more information was revealed about the place he reincarnated into.

Seeing at the kingdom he was going to, his face darkened, as it was human ruled the kingdom, and turned onto another direction, towards the kingdom where it was neutral with no real slaves as it was more technologically advanced than the other kingdoms, even if it had a much smaller population than the other kingdoms.

He was running for days on end as it was quite far away. He passed by multiple biomes and terrains on the way, deserts, savannahs, forests, etc.

"Hmm... maybe it's finally time to look at the shop... nothing else to do at this point..." David opened the interface.

"I guess it's nothing too much... but the description... seems like a gacha exchange as well or something?" David remembered playing something called... Genshin Impact? He was just a free to play player at the time.

David decided to save the Sp for a later time. He spent the rest of the week traveling, practicing magic and his claw technique, but due to the {Skill Improvement} skill, although the skill would be much stronger than someone without that unique skill, it was also near impossible to level it quickly.

By the time he arrived within the area, he saw a large wall in the distance. There was an emblem on the gate. It had a silver circle as the outline and in the middle, there was a pair of wings surrounding an orb, as if protecting a national treasure.

"...I made it..." David looked up at the walls in a daze before he saw a few carriages and some men and women actively coming and going at the gates.

'Civilization... at last.' David stepped forward with high hopes, wanting to begin his adventure here first.
