A Reincarnator's Journey

David Valor, a normal sophomore student, dies in a cliche 'truck-kun' accident just to get sent to another world by the system! Using the 'true' system, he slowly rises to the top of the food chain before truly begining his adventure! (David may not be a "Good" Mc as I want to write it in a way of what I would do if I was in this situation myself. Of course there will also be some things different than what I think as well.) *** Note: I have no real plans for this story, it was made on a whim, so it may lose quality on the way, please read with caution! Schedule: I'm still in school so updates will also be somewhat slow, also, english is not my first language so please comment if I wrote something wrong! Thank you for reading!

"Oh, right... how did you guys do?" David commented, obviously supporting the idea to discuss what happened in their private sparring lesson.

"Mn... not very good, I guess most of us can agree that we were being toy-taught a lesson." Sam corrected.

Everyone had nodded at his statement.

"Eh? You guys do know that he split into 15 clones for each student, right? He should be much weaker than a tier 4, maybe he even fell to the tier 3 realm." David pointed out.

Hearing that, everyone stared at David.

David cast a wry smile, "What're you staring at me for?"

Sam looked at him with the fiercest eyes out of everyone, "Of course! Everyone knows that! If not, most of us here would be crippled under his aura... but how are you able to identify a tier 3 powerhouse?" He asked.

"That's... ummm... doesn't the academy boast about having tier 3 students? It shouldn't be that hard to know when one is at that rank, right?" David furrowed his brows, genuinely confused.

Everyone looked at each other and stared at David.

"You... wait, no, guess you skipped the statistic part of the academy pamphlet. It is in small font, but still apparent. Only about 1% to 6% of students are able to reach tier at their third year and even less for second years. There was only 1 person in history that was able to reach the third tier in their first year, and that was..." Hana stopped.

"Who was it?" David and Bennett both looked at her.

"Samuel Vale!" They shouted.

'Wow... even Sam and Kyle broke their characters... seems like Samuel is a potential system user then...' It was safe to assume so, after all, system users were meant to break the 'average' and the 'records' of the world they reside in.

Bennett spat out the water he was drinking, "What? Elder brother?"

David looked at him with slight disgust, "Manners..." David held his hand out, catching all of the water that was in the air.

Bennett looked at his indifferent face and smiled flatteringly, "Haha... sorry about that, brother." He nervously looked away.

David sighed, clasped his hand into a fist, and the water had disappeared.

Nobody had questioned his actions, everyone here... well... at the very least, Elizebeth could've done the same thing.

David looked at Sam, "We've... well actually I haven't heard about my supposed elder brother, Samuel. Is there anything you can tell me about him?" He asked without a trace of any other emotion except curiousity.

Feil smiled, "Well, he is the pride of our kingdom, a national genius!" He flattered.

"Yeah! Many people say that he was a genius sent from the the heavens! He was even able to reach tier 4 by the age of 21! Breaking the record of reaching tier 4 at the age of 35!" Kyle replied with some admiration on his face.

"Mn. Absolutely incredible, he was even able to jump some levels during fights! He was able to fight off some demons when he just acended to tier 4, and most of them were demons at the peak of early tier 4!" Hana had also praised him.

"He was also able to fight alongside his own mother and father, fighting off the demons. Although it was still peaceful at the time, that's because of the scouting parties that kept the demons from invading us again." Sam continued the chain of praise.

Even Bennett had joined in, "He's also very nice at home, treating even the servants as equals."

'Seems like he's... one of those "pure" main characters? Or am I missing something.' David nodded absently.

"I see... there's only compliments so far, and Kyle said that he 'was' a genius sent from heaven. Did something bad happen to him?" David's face changed to of slight worry.

"Well... it's quite hard to explain." Feil scratched his hair.

David looked at Bennett in suspision, he was also scratching his head, but there wasn't any... hatred, yeah, no hatred at all.

'So... he's injuried?' David rubbed his chin.

Sam's eyes had shone a certain light, "Don't worry, he didn't do anything bad or betray his family. If he did, then your status wou-"

Elizebeth cut him off, "Please mind your words, Sam. They are family, even if they have never met before." She emphasized family.

David waved it off, "No, don't apologize. I want to know what would happen to my family's status if one of my family members betrayed their kingdom after swearing an oath."

Hana and Kyle looked at each other, not sure of what to say, after all, they were just commoners with some connections that got them where they were today.

David looked at Feil for answers, even if he was only third in line, to fight for the throne, he would need some intelligence about his own kingdom and the nearby nations as well.

Feil nodded, "If one of your family members decides to betray their kingdom after swearing an oath, is usually execution of the entire family." He looked at David seriously.

David nodded, "So, was elder brother injured?" He asked.

Feil sighed, "Father wouldn't tell me, but to the public, yes he is injured and is hiding somewhere."

David smiled, "Well... let's switch the topic before all of us lose out appetite. So, anyone want to share how badly they were taught a lesson?" He snickered.
