Surprise (2)

(About Three weeks ago) (a mini flashback)

Calista was looking at a beautiful diamond ring that was displayed on the counter. It looked really beautiful, it had an intricate design all the way around and a single beautiful shining diamond in the middle. It was simply gorgeous.

"You seem to like that a lot, do you think all women will think it's pretty?" The person next to her asked. "Ofcourse! We'd love it!" She replied excitedly.

"Do you think they'll like when they are proposed to with a ring?" The person asked. "Ofcourse!"Calista repled spontaneously.

"Also it would be great if it was a surprise right?"

"Definitely! Don't worry it would be the best surprise!" Calista replied with a huge smile.

(end of mini flashback)

"He said it was a surprise... Would he propose to me?" Just at the thought of it, her heart was beating wildly. After all she had loved him for a long time atleast for 13 years.

She was brimming with happiness when she thought about it. After 13 long years of being bestfriends he was proposing to her!.

She got out of the elevator and walked to the nearest cafe. It was next to her office building.

She found him standing outside the cafe's entrance. She called out his name

"Zaire!" He turned around when he heard someone call his name

He spotted Calista on her way towards the cafe. "Calista! You're here!"he said when she stopped in front of him

"Yeah! Did i keep you waiting? Shall we head in then?" Calista asked and he nodded in response. They both headed in and sat in one of the tables.

Just as she was about to ask him something, someone came in and called out Zaire's name. They both looked towards the cafe's entrance.

She saw a pretty lady walking towards them after waving her hands towards them. She walked in and sat next to Zaire.
