PW laboratory

Sitting on the steps, I watch Reckoning pull in with her fancy jeep.

Katelyn stands next to me, laying her arm on the railing.

Reckoning exits the vehicle walking at us, wearing a lab coat, with a mask that covers just her eyes.

I stand up before she walks up the steps, and immediately, pain shoots to my abdomen. I quickly put my hand on it, balancing myself by holding the railing.

"What happened to you?" Reckoning asks.

"He got stabbed. Could you do anything about it?" Katelyn asks.

"He'll be fine. After all, he's our leader. If he were to die now, should we really be following him."

"Good point."

I look at them, both smiling ear to ear.

"Come on, you didn't actually believe me. Did you?" Reckoning says, almost stumbling on her words.

Reckoning walks past us.

"We better shut that barrier before the scientists who work here get here. Also, don't actually worry about that wound, I knew you would eventually want a doctor on the team, so I hired someone, someone you might recognize. They will be here shortly."

"Good job, everyone. Our first mission was a success." I congratulate them.

"Yes. thank you for holding your part of the deal." Reckoning says.

Katelyn looks at the both of us and smiles.

"Thank you guys for accepting me. I hope I don't ruin it." Katelyn says with an incredibly sad face.

"You won't, I promise that." I say.

"But I ruin everything, everywhere I go. You, Akuji, have noble and ambitious dreams, and I respect that more than anything. You should get someone else before I mess something up."

"I won't accept anyone else. You will not mess anything up, that I promise, I watched some of your fight, your incredible, a whole different league from me. I hired you as a fighter, someone who could go in and defeat everyone, and I watched you for just about ten seconds, and I can proudly say that you're here to stay."

Katelyn holds both her palms, in a triangle shape, around her eyes. I watch tears drizzle down her face.

Reckoning walks back down the stairs and holds Katelyn across the shoulder, walking her inside, but before she closes the door to go inside, she turns towards me.

"Stay out here, I'll leave the barrier closed. Wait for a blue Mercedes, that's our doctor." Reckoning tells me.

They both walk inside. I sit myself back down on the concrete steps. Waiting.

Minutes pass, and I see three cars pull up. Slowly, the people inside are looking at the blood and body on the floor.

They look at me.

"The scientists." I say in a dark, cold voice.

I get up, holding onto the railing.

I watch the scientists get out of the cars and slowly make their way towards me.

"What are you doing here? This is private property!" One of the scientists yelled

I say in a dark voice. "Get out of here before I have to kill you."

The scientists that yelled quickly holds out his arm, aiming his hand at me. It quickly stretches, grabbing my neck, while he stands about 30 feet away.

I quickly grab his hand.

"Break!" I yell.

Blood splashes everywhere, on the cars, stairs, and the scientists. The remaining scientists look down at their blood red lab coats.

"Get out of here!" I scream at them.

The two scientists look up at me, then run towards their cars.

They quickly open the doors and exit, going like 100 miles an hour. One of them nearly ran into a blue Mercedes that is trying to pull in.

I quickly realized that this was supposed to be the doctor. I slowly make my way to the car, holding my abdomen.

The person in the car quickly gets out and jogs towards me. I drop to my knees.

"Are you okay?" a feminine voice says.

"No. I'm starting to get dizzy. I got stabbed in the abdomen." I answer.

This person puts her left hand on my shoulder. Immediately, I feel myself start to heal.

Looking at my abdomen, it starts to grow like it used to be. Like nothing ever happened.

I looked up at the person to immediately recognize it was the nurse who checked up on me at the hospital after my torturing.

I thought she was just a nurse, though.

"Hello. Akuji. Reckoning told me to call you that. I hope you accept me into your team. Reckoning told me you are trying to create a safe and peaceful world, and I want nothing more than that, so I hope you can accept me." The doctor says.

"Of course you are accepted. Also, what can I call you, and what is your power, specifically?" I ask.

"You can call me by my name, Lizy. also, my power is to drastically increase someone's healing factor, I do this by touching them."

"Wow."

"I see you had some... difficulties." Lizy says. turning her head and looking at the blood and the dead guard.

"Yeah. They dint specifically want the laboratory to be taken."

She smiles at my remark.

"Come on, you should get off the ground." Lizy demands.

I slowly get up. Lizy holds me steady. Making sure I don't fall over.

Walking into the building. it takes us a while to find the others. It also doesn't help that I'm weak right now.

We walk into a room that has a see-through window. Reckoning sits on a chair, looking at a computer. Next to Reckoning sits Katelyn, she holds a tissue on her thumb, a small amount of blood seeping through the tissue.

"What's going on?" I ask

"Reckoning is taking tests on me." Katelyn says. She said tests like it was going to be the end of the world, for her.

"it's productive." Reckoning says. Trying to explain herself without losing eye contact with the computer.

"We have a friend." I say

At the same time, Katelyn and Reckoning look at Lizy. I turn and look at her, too. She has dark black hair. she wears glasses, behind those glasses are deep, brown eyes. Intelligence illuminates through those eyes.

"What's your name, new girl?" Katelyn asks

"My name is Lizy." She answers.

Lizy turns, looking at me. "What is the name of the group?"

We all say together, "The Perfect World."
