CHAPTER 68- THE JOURNEY TO HARTLAND THROUGH BREE IV

They were now climbing up a hill. Darian had told Janice that they needed to be a little higher up in order for him to know exactly where, and how close to Bree they were.

Reaching down, he offered a hand so he could help pull her up since he was a little above her.

Janice was beginning to get really annoyed with this attitude of his. She had arms and legs for goodness sake! It was not like she was some fragile glass doll that would break with the slightest application of force. She eyed Darian's hand, then his face before climbing higher, past him.

Darian rolled his eyes. "I'm starting to get the feeling that I've done something wrong?" He said, climbing higher to reach her level.

Janice feigned blankness. "Really?''

"Ever since we separated from the rest of the men you've been treating me like an animal."

Janice scoffed. "Forgive me my lord, I have no idea what you're talking about. Why would I dare do such a thing, sire?" She continued.
