Revolver

The box was opened, clearly revealing an object that seemed foreign to most people.  But for a provider of illegal weapons and various other types of dangerous ammunition, they must understand and know what they are.

"This is just a prototype. But this is the best version of all the prints that are about to be distributed, "said Dobberg. "It would be a shame to miss it."

Alyosha snorted with a lopsided smile.  "I've done too much bartering, this time I want to be paid in cash. It's so tiring for me to find a middleman for all the goods I receive."

"The CIA is looking for this stuff. I'm just offering it to you. The rest I'm offering above $10 million, "Dobberg explained.

"I guess this is the real thing. And the others are fake, "said Alyosha.

Of course, Alyosha thought so, considering it was just an ordinary revolver.  Not very ordinary, but when compared to the revolvers that Alyosha had been selling, this revolver was nothing special.

Except this is a piece of evidence.

Alyosha was about to reach for the revolver, but Dobberg closed the case first.

This was an insult to Alyosha.

"Isn't this my payment? Why are you blocking me from checking this thing now? " asked Alyosha, her brows digging slightly because she was annoyed.

"Didn't you refuse to accept this as your payment?"  asked Dobberg.

Alyosha glanced at him, then cleared her throat softly.  "This will be our last transaction if you act too much."

Dobberg smiled happily.  "As I thought, you are the most appropriate person as my business partner. I will leave the rest directly to you as well."

Alyosha rolled her eyes lazily.  "Yeah, I hope I get the rest right away today."

 There was actually something that caught Alyosha's attention when she saw the item that Dobberg pointed out.

 It's not a prototype, it's a runaway item, and it looks like Dobberg is deliberately running the thing off of something.

It is common knowledge that Alyosha is a major trade transit point for the most sought-after goods in the world. Especially for the illegal business of weapons.  For narcotics, indeed, Alyosha is also the owner of one of the largest drug cartels in the world, but he is best known for his business relationships with unique people who provide such goods.

But sometimes Alyosha is tired because she is often the target. There are so many people who are scrambling to transact with Alyosha.

Once, 18 countries were looking for her because she had a crown left by a cursed princess 50 years BC. Alyosha, who was already overwhelmed with all the people, finally threw the crown into the trough. No one will ever find that item again, until now.

And what's with this revolver?

Alyosha is very interested in having it.  It was as if she had seen this revolver before.

Was this ever owned by one of the people who had been enemies of Alyosha in the past?

"It was a pleasure dealing with you," said Dobberg.  He shook hands with Alyosha.

Well, the formalities. No more.

However, Dobberg and Alyosha have been partners in this business for a long time.  Dobberg loves to collect items from criminals, agents, or people who are considered important.  Then sell it to several people, be it in an illegal transaction or not.

Therefore, Alyosha and Dobberg already knew each other well.  And it is undeniable that Alyosha is more honest and direct when speaking with Dobberg.  Even though Dobberg often lied in the beginning, if Alyosha guessed it was either wrong or right, Dobberg would still be given the original facts.

They are both unique people.

Alyosha wanted to collect this item; she didn't want to sell it. Well, collecting something worth three million dollars isn't something Alyosha is going to lose.
