5 Journey with Unexpected Surprised
In a ship traveling to East Blue. A young man sitting inside a room stood up and jump around looking like an idiot for some reason.
This young man is no other than main protagonist Lucas. The reason this young man was happy in the first place can be answered by what he is holding, a fruit. A weird fruit that might confuse people that it is appetizing in the first place. A fruit known as a devil fruit in the seas with its absurd power and rarity and one of it is in the possession of a young man.
"Yahoo! I have the fruit! Hahahaha as a fan, I never thought I would hold something like this early" Lucas then raised the fruit happily.
Lucas then thought of a problem he never to expect to come this time around.
"If I ate this fruit right now, I would lose the ability to swim. What if there's a problem that may stop me on my way there. As far as I know Grand Line is a very dangerous place. I remembered when the crew arrived at Grandline they experienced weird weather phenomenon." Lucas then thinks of the situation seriously.
After a few minutes of thinking Lucas then firmly decided what he thought what was the best in his situation. The decision he chooses might lead to his own demise or success.
"I should ate it right now, I know that the Marines who is escorting the goods in this ship must have a plan if ever there is a problem arises on our journey" Lucas then looked at the fruit in his hand and gulped.
"Wait, in all the episodes I saw, the fruits usually are not delicious. But that might not be true. I don't believe this weird good looking fruit is not tasty" Lucas then decided to eat all of it first rather than biting it in small pieces.
Lucas then opens his mouth as large as he can and chomped the large fruit in just few seconds.
"Blah! Disgusting! They really taste bad. Damn it! It's really weird how this fruit exists in the first place. Hmph if this thing doesn't have amazing effects. I would have thrown this," Lucas then sat in his bed and focused on his surroundings waiting for something.
Suddenly, in his mind, he felt overly sensitive in his surroundings, he felt the weight of every object in his room and the ship. Lucas also felt a weird feeling in this sky, then he looks up.
"Seems like I need to practice this power, the power to move objects seems like a far dream for now. It's not joke how hard this mastering this kind of absurd power." Lucas then slept for hours from overexerting his mind and body from practicing.
The journey continues for weeks with no unexpected interruption. Everyday Lucas practices his sword focusing on his style, for his rest time he always tries to discover to what extent his power can reach right now.
"Seems like I need to form a plan on how to strengthen my control over this devil powers" Lucas then continued his practice.
Suddenly a large explosion that rocked the ship sideways. Lucas was shocked, then stood up and took his sword, then ran to the deck.
"Someone actually attacks this ship, I need to be ready in case this thing gets worst" as Lucas was to ask the marine around the ships another explosion occurred that rocked the ship again.
Ka-Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Ka-Boom! Explosion continuous to explode as the ship fire back with its own cannon.
"Marine stand on guard! Locate how many enemies we are facing!"
"Man your guns, prepare all of the cannon that is ready to be fired in any moment! Remember, we are not letting this ship go down at all cost" The captain screamed on his subordinates
Marines run, people screamed, people are hiding in corners cowering in fear. This is what Lucas is experiencing right now.
"Seems like it's no joke when experiencing fights like this, still I'm prepared at all cost" Lucas then asked some of the Marines on guard.
"What's the situation, officer I might help, I'm fairly trained in battle." Lucas seriously asked the Marines around.
"Ok young man, if you say so. There are Pirate! A lot of them!" The officers then pointed in a direction with three ships with different colors on the collision course towards them.
"Man your station, be ready! Fighting from now on is unavoidable!" The Captain then draws his sword.
Lucas looked at the Pirates ships with a slight smile. Even in this dangerous situation Lucas thirst for adventure towered above his fear.
"This is my first fight! I need to take this seriously" Lucas then draw his sword.
"The ships then steers away from the collision, but the ships are still in line and parallel with each other. Locked in position. Pirates threw planks toward the Marine ship then tied ropes to join both the ship together and give way for the pirates to attack at the ship.
The pirates then arrived with a vast number. Marines then fought defending the ship with all their might. Lucas then jumped from the top deck slashing his sword to a group of pirates. Annihilation Cut, Unexpectedly Lucas learned how to add and reduce weight in this final moment he drew his sword towards the pirates.
BANG! Like a heavy object fall from a high building with added with momentum.
The slash was so heavy that blew away the group of pirates. Some pirates look at the young man with some fear, still they bravely attack him. Lucas then fought pirates onto another. The fight continued with both sides on a stalemate. Suddenly another ship attached itself on the other side of the starboard more pirates came in.
The stalemate was finally destroyed, with the massive amount of pirates the marines pushed back again and again.
Even if Lucas is as skillful as he is, he can't still defeat this amount of enemies at the moment. Suddenly something inside Lucas exploded.
An epiphany, Lucas finally learned a skill after using the Zushi Zushi no Mi's powers again and again. It's actually true that middle of fighting you will learn something you really need in unexpected moments.
Suddenly all people in the ship suddenly felt heavy. Enemy or ally all felt so bad.
"What? Heavy! What the hell is this feeling! Damn it who the hell is causing this! Ahhh I feel being crush" Suddenly everyone dropped to the ground facing their faces to the floor.
The cause of this phenomenon is Lucas himself. The pressure continued to rise. Suddenly Lucas lost his bearing and dropped seating to the floor due to his exhaustion of continuous using his power to his very limit.
"Damn it, I can't still fully control it because of how weak I am. Even if I know how to use it, it doesn't matter as how weak, I am right now" Lucas then breathe heavily looking at the pirates with a glare in his face.
The heavy sensation suddenly disappeared. Some strong pirate and marines stood up. The pirates notice a young seating looking at them.
"Hahahaha we hit the jackpot, we found a devil fruit eater and it seems like he is new to its power. HahahaHa this fruit will be mine if I kill that kid! Hahaha what awesome power" Some pirates greedily look at Lucas.
The marines then realized that it is one of their passengers that helped them.
"Don't let them have a chance to touch that boy, if anyone of you fail. This will be the biggest disgrace to us Marines" The Marines shouted, then charge towards the pirates then they continued fighting. Some unconscious pirates and marines woke up, then continued to fight again.
As time passed by the Marines is being pushed back to the limit. The marines realized that they were totally outnumbered.
"We are being pushed back, there are too many of them, we might lose this battle. Damn it!" as more and more time passed the Marines continued with disadvantage.
As the Marines were about to fall, suddenly a sword light sharply arrived that cut a part of the ship. A sword wave send a gust of wind that threw the Pirates out of the ship.
Shinnnnng! Ka! Boom!
A sword wave cuts the surrounding ships into pieces. Pirates are screaming, marines then attack back with renewed power. Lucas was shocked how the situation change at a moment's notice.
"Damn it, it's that guy. Why is he even here? Does he popped in every situation like this?" Lucas then hold on the rail on the starboard and look for the something.
There he saw something, a small boat with a shape of a casket with candles lit at the front. He was Hawk Eyes Mihawk or The Strongest swordsman in the World Dracule Mihawk.
"AHHHH! It's one of the Shichibukai! Run! Retreat! Retreat!" One of the ship tried to sail away as fast as it could, but a sword wave arrived and cut the ship into two.
Pirates screamed, they scatter away and swim again at the furthest ship and escape as fast as they could.
Lucas then realized something, isn't this fleet of ships part of the crew of Don Krieg. I remember now those pirates met Hawk Eyes Mihawk after arriving at Grand Line.
So this the reason Hawk Eyes followed them to East Blue. Lucas realized at how the puzzles connected, then smile, with this information Lucas smiled.
"Hahahaha I'm glad my timing was right. At this time Luffy is starting his journey, I need to locate Luffy before he met Zoro to volunteer himself as the Vice-Captain of the Crew" Lucas never wanted to be the captain of the crew as for the reason, it's simple. It would not be fun. At least as a Vice-Captain my name will be as popular when our crew achieves the crazy things that will happen.
Afterwards the Marines then thank DraCule Mihawk and repaired the ship to sail again. After a few hours as the ship was ready to sail. Hawk Eyes Mihawk bid goodbye and head at the direction of the Fleet of ships.
Lucas then exhaled deeply and look at Hawk Eyes Mihawk one last time before he leave. He wanted to see the legendary Strongest Swordsman with his own eyes. He wanted to see these guys as he remembered when he watched the anime, this guy was ridiculously strong in battle.
As a swordsman he also wanted to challenge this guy, but he hesitates. Something inside him suddenly urges him to say something. Lucas then looks again.
Dracule Mihawk realizes someone is watching him, he realized that a young man looking at him intently. The man then said something that made him laugh.
"Dracule Mihawk, I want to challenge you to a duel as a swordsman?" Lucas then stood up as his strength was returning after the exhausted fight.
The Marines and some of the Pirates captured gasped at what that Young man said. Some felt that the young man is either stupid or brave. Still, they watched the fight as this was a rare occurrence.
"Such a weak kid, if you really consider yourself a swordsman, you should've been able to feel the difference in our strength, without challenging in the first place" Dracule Mihawk jump at his boat towards the deck.
"I don't intend to be the strongest swordsman as someone I know would be, I only intend that my sword style would be recognized" Lucas then smiled then draw his sword.
"Hahahaha you're challenging me with a half-ass reason, I can't believe that someone would challenge without the intent to be strongest swordsman Hahahaha" Hawk Eyes Mihawk then send a wave of pressure to Lucas.
"Believe me or not Old man, you will know the answers to that question yourself" Lucas then concentrated looking at Hawk Eyes Mihawk.
"Not bad! Young man! You gave me an impression, let me see what you are boasting about!" Hawk Eye Mihawk then remove his necklace with the shape of a cross. He removed the scabbard, then drew the sword looking at Lucas then smiled.
"This guy! He is just mocking like Zoro. Damn it, I don't care I'll just show him" Lucas then remembered all of his training, he decided that he won't use his devil fruit powers as he wanted to master his swordsmanship.
"Come!" Hawk Eyes Mihawk tauntly said to Lucas.
Lucas ran ducking his body, increasing his speed to the extreme. He slashed upwardly with a side angle.
"Annihilation slash!" Lucas released the power supported by the momentum.
"Tiiiiiing!" a high frequency sound was released from the impact of both swords, but the truth is Hawk Eyes blocked this sword easily.
"Damn! It's fucking true, legendary character is really strong! This guy didn't even budge with my attack, that attack was combined with my strength and the momentum I build while I am charging, this is even more ridiculous even when I fought that vice-admiral" Lucas pondered heavily realizing the situation, still he continued bravely even after the gap of strength.
Hawk Eyes Mihawk slashed at Lucas, the attacked stagnated Lucas drive and threw him away flying in the air.
"Young man! You are killing yourself!" Hawk Eyes Mihawk look at Lucas.
"Hawk Eye Mihawk, I won't stop until I'm satisfied" Lucas groggily stand then charge again.
"Hmph, not bad young man I recognized your resolved" Hawk Eye Mihawk then draw a Large Black Sword.
"If you can receive a percentage of my attack I recognized your hardship" Hawk Eyes Mihawk then stood with a stance.
Both of them look each other intently with a silent atmosphere. Suddenly a creek sound from the ship's deck disturb that silent.
Bang! Lucas and Hawk Eyes Mihawk ran to each other.
"Annihilation Slash" Lucas attack with everything he has, the things he learned, the remaining strength in his body.
Every intent he got.
"Shiiing! Kaching!" swords clashed, one of the sword broke into pieces.
That broken sword belongs none other than Lucas. His stance forces him to stand. He touched his body and found a cut full of blood.
"Damn it! My beautiful skin! Hahaha I'm crazy, that guy was unfathomable, I didn't even get to see the glimpse of his swordplay, still I learned a lot of things" Lucas then stood up with all his strength while bleeding.
"Not bad, Young man, what is your name?" Hawk Eye Mihawk asked looking at the bloody Lucas.
"Pendragon D. Lucas" Lucas said his name.
"My name is Dracule Mihawk! I recognized your resolved, I also recognized your sword as a swordsman. Find your true self, travel the world and become stronger!" Lucas declared that with a firm voice that shocked the Marines and Pirate around.
"Let me see the world in chaos by your name!"
"PENDRAGON D. LUCAS" Hawk Eyes Mihawk then left to finish his business.
This is the last words Lucas heard before he lost consciousness. Lucas fell asleep for days until he recovered. In his dreams he remembered the fight learning his mistakes and resolving his mind.
"I'm almost there" Lucas then woke up when he heard something that made him smile.
"We arrived at East Blue! We arrived at East Blue! We arrived at East Blue!" Marines shouted around the ship.
