58 Investigation and Illusions

The next day I went toward the Hokage tower to ask for a mission. Fortunetly today they wasn't as many people as there were yesterday. I waited only a little before entering the office. I took my mission and saw that it was a C rank. It was to go and invistigate a cave where people heard strange noises.

The C rank was only because the destination was in Suna so the rank was raised to raise the money paid. I looked at the Hokage with question filled eyes as this should be a mission for Suna, not us. He sigh and said" Suna got discredited by the war and we receives more and more of missions from Suna inhabitants as they trust us more than the ninjas from their villages."

I nodded as it was quite simple to understand. Suna was the village deemed as the weakest, first because of their way of chosing the Kazekage. The position would not go to ths strongest ninja or the one with the best commanding abilities like the other village but was only reserved for a clan.

Only the successor of the leader of the Kazekage clan would become the next Kazekage. So if the Kazekage had only one son, then however weak he was he would become the next one. Fortunetly the Kazekage was not a weak one, and the next, his son Rasa, was a bit weaker. He was at a higher level than a jonin as he was S rank, but a low one.

The second reason is the strenght of the nearest hidden village, Konoha. We now were the most powerful of the five, even higher than Kirigakure. They should have been the strongest after the war as they were the only ones who did not participate, but too many powerhouses raised from Konoha.

First the Hokage who was deemed as the strongest of the era with the title of God of Shinobi. Next there is Sakumo with his new low S rank level, then the three sanin, well two as we cannot count Tsunade. But Jiraya and Orochimaru were now mid S rank. We also had one other ninja, Danzo, who could not ascend to anbu commander who is a high S rank.

By the way that loser, because he could not become the anbu commander decided to create his own organization. It is called the "ROOT" because he decided to protect Konoha from the shadows and blablabla… For me he is only a bad loser who could not accept defeat and repented himself by commanding his own organization.

But there is one problem, that is that he uses the weakness of Sarutobi of being too kind and overuses his power by saying shit like" I need to do dark things to protect the village while you do the good things…" He just is kidnapping kids. One day he tried to take a child from the Uchiha clan saying that he has great potential and all.

Guess what ? I beated him up on the place and broke one of his arms after warning him that if he dares to try even coming near an Uchiha member I would kill him. He seemed to have understand as he never tried again. That happened in the month after my marriage. Since then his arm had healed but to keep appearence and not be umiliated by having been beaten by a junior he now kept his arm the same way, like it has always been broken.

The anbu commander, my father, also has low S rank strenght and great commanding abilities. Finally there is me, who now is near Kage level for outsiders, but only Sarutobi and I now that I am equal to Sarutobi's level. If I do not activate my Susanoo but all my other powers, I am at the level of the weakest kage, the kazekage. If I uses my Susanoo only then I am equal to the second strongest kage, the third raikage.

But if I uses my Susanoo along with my Time slow then I have a slight advantage against the Hokage. Of course we only spar so he do not uses his goddamn OP seal. For real, he uses a seal to attack with the frealing death God. A GOD ! How do you want me to fight against a god ? And the death one at that.

But I know that if I unlock the next stage of my Susanoo, that I still did not unlock, then I would be more powerful. But all those things only to say that we have the request from Suna inhabitants.

After all those long 644 words of thoughts, I departed toward my destination. It was very far away as it was in another country, so even me would take at least one day to go there, that is using the Time slow. As it will not change a thing for me, and that I cannot keep the Time slow for three days, I did not activated it.

I even decided to take my time so I only arrived there after five days. On the way I even encountered some bandits. I wanted to train my sword skills but I was stuck. I could not mmake any progress since two years ago. So I just decided to drop it there certainly was only the seven swordsmen of the mist who have a better one.

Moreover at my level swordmanship became a little useless. It is not my tiny sword that is going to tear apart a tailed beast. I would either use a jutsu or my mighty invisible Susanoo sword.

As I said I finally arrived at the cave and indeed I could hear strange creepy sound. They were almost as creepy as Orochimaru's laughter… I walked toward the entrance but once I was inside I was put under a genjutsu. Ot more something tried to put me under a genjutsu. I shook it off and walked deeper inside.

As I was walking I there was more and more illusions. But I finally arrived at the last one and when I shook it off and I finally saw what was inside, and what made those illusions. I opened my eyes wide seeing what it was, but was more shaken by what I felt.
