59 Purple and Training

What was in front of me was no ghost or any kind of monster, it was a huge purple flame. It was burning fervently and emitted such heat that I already was sweating. I could also feel a huge wave of essence, but not chakra.

I immediately sat on the ground and began to meditate. As soon as I did I could feel the natural energy from the fire element. There was so much that it completely overwhelmed the chakra and neutral nature energy.

Now even though I only sat on the ground for five minutes, I already made more progress with the fire than with all the other elements. Thirty minutes later I already had accustomed to the fire essence. With the wind I would need at least another month to attain this stage, but in only thirty minutes I did it.

I could now begin the second phase of the training, but also the most difficult. That was to absorb the fire essence in my body. I took a huge breath in and began to absorb slowly the fire essence around me. But what was different was that the fire essence around me was different from the normal fire essence.

The wind essence was green, the fir was red, the earth brown, the lightning yellow and the water blue. At least that is what Fukasaku told me. But here the fire essence was purple, and it felt more powerful than the wind essence.

I continued absorbing until I felt that I was at my limit. I also discovered that the training with elementary essences was less dangerous than the one with neutral essence. That is because to unlock the sage mode from the neutral essence you need to circulate the right amount of essence through your body in one time.

But here I need to slowly accomodate my body to the essence until I become one with the element and then I would unlock my sage mode that will not have any time limit. But because I had less danger I had to take more time.

When I felt that I was at my limit I stopped and I could feel that I was way more familiar and had more affinity with fire than before. I got out of the cave and put many seals on it for nobody to come inside. I still was okay because of my strenght and my training with fire but if a normal person walks in then he would be trapped in the illusion and get slowly roasted to death.

Once I was outside I sat again and went into meditation. I saw that around me there was chakra, neutral essence, wind essence and fire essence. My hypothesis was right, Around me there was not only the wind essence, but all the five. If I could only feel the wind before was because I put limits on myself by believing there only was wind.

The truth is that there are all the elements, that is only that there is more wind in the air. I now could feel only the wind and fire around me, but I did not try to feel the other kinds of essences as it would not help me.

By the way the fire essence around me was indeed red and not purple, and it felt way less powerful than the purple one. Even though I knew that it was risky, I still wanted to absorb it. I attracted a tiny bit of essence toward me and absorbed it. But once it wass inside me it got transformed into a purple one.

I was happy seeing this. But I also was uncomfortable. I opened my eyes and was feeling hot everywhere. That is what happens if I still try to absorb fire essence after feeling the saturation. And here I only absorbed a tiny bit of fire essence, if I just continued not caring by absorbing like I did in the cave then I would be burned to death.

Remembering my mission I hurriedly departed toward Konoha as I have spend a long time inside the cave. I activated the Time slow as much as I could. I sped toward the village and feeling I was not fast enough I coated myself with lightning.

Now from any external point of view I was really too fast. It only took me one day to come back to Konoha. I could not keep my Time slow all the way but I still arrived quite fast. I was panting heaily when I arrived in front of the Hokage office. I did no care if he was occupied or not and barged in.

Seeing that he was just doing stuff with all his papers I said" I have to report something really important. Tell them to go." He nodded and we were alone. I said" I did my mission and discovered what was in the cave. It was a huge purple flame. It was able to emit illusions but was not sentient."

The Hokage looked at me in wonder and said" Why is it so important then ?" I was shocked at his nonchalent attitude and understood. He could not feel its power. I said" You know that I train on the essences of the world, and you certainly know that my sage mode is going to be way more powerful than Jiraya's right ?"

He nodded so I continued" Then what if I tell you the essence sent off by the flame was at least three time more powerful than normal fire essence ?" He opened his eyes wide and I added" I will take a leave and train there as this flame speeds up my training. I will only return when I finish my fire essence training."

He nodded and I departed to go see Mikoto as it has already been six days since I last saw her. We planed to stay together the rest of the day but once inside my room I just fell on the bed and slept. I was too exhausted with this trip back to Konoha. I kept the Time slow only at the very beginning as even keeping it fifteen minutes is too exhausting. If I arrived this fast is because I did not slept, eat or did any other thing that would stop me.

Moreover running for more than twenty four hours with lightning coat is very exhaustive too.
