DECISIONS.

Kylie POV.

Although it has been two weeks since the incident occurred, I couldn't go out alone due to the fear of the danger Ryan posed despite him being behind bars so I never went anywhere else apart from work which I'd have to leave home early, and get home late with Louis by my side. Louis had suspected my insecurities and ensured he or his guards were around me whenever I went on errands. During this few weeks I began to feel self conscious whenever I was with Louis as I was reminded of the kiss and our discussion in the cabin.

Thankfully this morning he told me that there was no work for me because he had an urgent business to attend to and I should rest at home. When he had left home, I became aware of the fact that Helen, who I had successfully avoided was also at home and so that I wouldn't come across her I went into my room and settled to watch movies while stuffing my face with popcorn.

I had finished a movie and was on the stairs on my way to get a refill before I continued when the entrance door flung open, and s black headed girl ran into the house. Seeing her, I stopped dead in my tracks unable to believe my eyes.

"Kylie!" she shouted happily, running towards me when she finally spotted me.

"Kim," I muttered as I also ran towards her in delight.

When I got down the stairs I carried and engulfed her in a big hug.

"You are chocking me." she muffled against my cloth but I hugged her tightly and she giggled before I dropped her back on the ground. My joy knew no bounds that I kept grinning and couldn't find the right words to say. "How are you?" Kim asked and I nodded my head.

"I'm fine, what about you?" I asked as I squatted.

"I am doing great but you seem lean. Are you okay?" she eyed me before facing back. "Daddy, has Kylie not been eating?" she asked and I looked up to see Louis standing at the doorstep smiling widely.

"No honey, Kylie has been eating just fine. The reason why she is lean is that she is just recovering from an illness," he explained as he came into the house.

"You're ill and you didn't bother to inform me so I could come home and take care of you."

"Don't worry, I'm fine," I said pulling her cheeks.

"You're sure?" she asked not convinced yet. "Is that true, Daddy?"

"Yes, she has been treated by Dr. Tim and she's already fine," Louis said as he approached us.

"Kim" I called her but she was still worried as she kept looking at my stature. "Kim, look at me," I said raising her head to mine. "I am fine and fit as a horse so stop bothering me," I said and she nodded her head. " Now how is Aunt Mandy?" I asked, changing the course of the discussion.

"She's fine and she gave me something to give to you." Kim smiled.

"Me? but she doesn't know me." I stated.

"Yeah, I told her about you and she was impressed so she decided to give you something." She said and I was surprised. "Do you know that she now has a daughter, her name is Emily and she is so nice and very beautiful." she kept on and I looked at her in admiration.

**************** Louis POV.****************

I haven't seen Kylie as excited as she was right now in days as she interacted with my daughter. I had purposely not informed her about Kim so it could be a surprise and luckily it paid off. In the car, on our way home, Kim kept asking of Kylie, saying she couldn't wait to see her again and speak to her and she went on saying a while list of fun things she had prepared for Kylie and her. As they bonded over the lost times, I stayed and watched them and saw something that made me really happy. Together they seemed to have a kind of bond that couldn't easily be broken and though they had been away for a while, their bond grew stronger than it had been.

"Let's freshen you up then we can talk for as long as you want," Kylie said as they both climbed up the stairs.

After some minutes when they had gone upstairs, I heaved a satisfied sigh and began to go to my room.

"Louis?" a voice said behind me and I frowned before turning to face her only thing see her with a shopping bag

"Yes Helen, where have you been?"

"I went to get something from the mart nearby," she said plainly. "Why are you home early?"

"Well, I didn't go to work as I went to pick Kim up from the airport."

"Kim?" she asked looking confused.

"Yeah, my daughter."

"Oh." she trailed if before she paused abruptly. "Wait, you mean your daughter is back from Glodine?"

"Yes, any issue?"

"No, I'm just so surprised. Where is she?"

"She is upstairs in her room with Kylie."

"Sure, I can't wait to finally meet her." she grinned before running up the stairs.

Shaking my head I went into my room and took a bath before I got to work in my room.

After hours of being on the system, I got out of my room so I could stretch my cramped limps when I heard giggling coming from Kylie's room and I tried not to listen to their conversation but my curiosity got the better of me. Placing my ear on the door, it was Kim's voice I heard first.

".......he saw me in his suit."

"You mean you had gone into your dad's room and worn his suit due to boredom." Kylie chuckle came out beautiful than usual especially when it came from her heart. After the incident, she had distanced herself from me and it had pained me even though I had expected it. I had also gone to find out about her past and what I read and heard made me attracted to her than I was supposed to.

Going out, I went over to the pool and I thought of what she said when I had first approached her after the incident.

"You know it isn't possible as we are far from each other in terms of standard and you also know that I'll have to leave one day after my work is done here." She had said and I tried to change her mind but she had already made her decision. I was still lost in thoughts when I felt a hand wrapped around my waist.

"What are you thinking about all alone?" Helen said and I sighed as I thought of it over and over again before I settled on that I should move on since Kylie was determined.

Turning to face Helen, I smiled "Nothing serious."

"You think because you were lost." she said as she rubbed my forearm.

"I was thinking of how bad I have behaved towards you in this past few weeks and want you to forgive me if I offended you in the process." I said and she smiled.

"How can I be offended with you when you have done nothing but stolen my heart like you did when we were young."

"But still.."

"Hush, no more. I am not offended with you and how can I when I am still in love with you." she paused as she looked at me before she removed something from her pocket. "See I still have the bracelet you gave me before you went in search of Kylie and it is a proff that I'll forever be in love with you." she said before she smashed her lips on mine.
