While the OG Avengers were fighting Thanos, the new ones were also going berserk on his army.
Hawkeye with his newly upgraded bow and arrow, knocking outriders with frightening accuracy that hasn't reduced a bit during his time in retirement.
Arrows like shrinking and expanding ones that instantly take down the leviathans and small ships, to E.M.P arrows that disabled the chariots and cut off their connections with the mother ship.
The provider of the shrinking technology, Scott Lang: The Antman, turns into a sixty feet giant, and outright crushes everything in his path. His huge hands destroying the small flying ships like bugs.
The Einherjar and Dora Milaje also not backing down and living up to their name, even with the enemy numbers being a hundred times higher, their formations cleave through the mindless beast like a hot knife through butter.
But the most impressive thing is the silver streak that passes through the battlefield once in every while and destroys the hundreds of outriders it passes.
The silver streak: Pietro clad in a blue skin-tight suit with a white strip going from his shoulder to his waist, not only destroys Thanos's army but also helps other Avengers fighting Thanos's children. If Bryan was here, he would have been feeling proud watching Pietro not getting hit by any stray bullets and lasers.
Strange was fighting Ebony Maw, who was giving him a hard time, but with the occasional help from Pietro and Wong, he's managing and slowly gaining the advantage.
Proxima Midnight was interestingly handled by one friendly neighbourhood Spiderman and the redhead spy.
Peter with his strength and amazing agility alongside his spidey sense, easily went blow to blow with the deadly woman. Natasha also didn't lose to the teen hero and showed her lithe body's great agility and flexibility. Her blows were precise and deadly like the assassin she is.
Black Panther with the Winter Soldier and the Falcon are fighting Corvus Glaive. Their combinations of attacks and teamwork make them look like they have been fighting together for years.
With T'Challa taking the helm and Falcon providing support from the air, bucky easily slipped through the grim reaper-like man's guard and delivered some good shots at him.
The last of Thanos's children: Cull Obsidian was already beaten, unconscious by the Hulk before he went after Thanos himself.
The Avengers were winning the war despite having a far smaller number than Thanos's army, but that changed when Thanos snapped and started using Soul-Stone.
The combination of Soul and Mind-Stone was devastating for the Avengers, no matter how strong they were physically, their mind and soul were weak.
The only ones who slightly resisted the combination of Soul and Mind stone were the Einherjar and the sorcerer from Kamar Taj.
But their resistance was futile in the end.
"Strange!!!" Wong shouted seeing Thanos suddenly teleporting behind Strange who was restraining the beaten Ebony Maw.
Strange immediately turned around and tried to form an Eldritch construct, but Thanos caught his arm and broke it alongside the sling ring.
Thanos snatched the Eye of Agamotto, making Strange release a mocking laugh even through his painful injuries.
"Hahaha…You-aghh will never get-gghh the Stone! The pendant isghh protected by a power spell." Strange mocked, but his voice spasmed from the pain he was feeling from his hand.
Thanos looked Strange for a moment before bringing back his focus on the pendent, his gauntlet shinned purple intensely.
"Wha-what a-are you doing." Strange questioned through his gritted teeth.
Thanos glanced back at Strange and decided to entertain the sorcerer, after all, he was going to die anyway.
"I'm overloading the spell with energy." Thanos calmly said making Strange's face go pale.
"Yo-you can't, that amount of energy will release an explosion that will wipe out half of Africa." Strange warned Thanos, but the Titan didn't listen, and as if listening to their conversation the pendent exploded.
*BOOOOMMM!!!!!* Thanos's Gauntlet shinned blue indicating the use of Space-Stone.
Thanos opened a 360 portal around the explosion, sending all of it outside the Earth, into space.
After the Explosion died and the light fades, the Time-Stone revealed itself making all the ongoing fights halt mostly due to the explosion sound.
Thanos raised his hand to get the Stone, but the silver light suddenly flashed, and he was thrown away from the Stone.
Pietro followed after Thanos with a smirk, but his smirk turned into a horror-struck face when his speed got slower, to the point he came to a halt right infront of Thanos.
Thanos caught him by his leg *CRUNCH* and with a sickening sound crushed his leg.
Thanos flung Pietro away and moved towards the Time-Stone.
"One more to go…" Thanos placed the Time-Stone inside Gauntlet's one of the two remaining sockets.
*Swish* An eldritch portal opened and brought Strange and Pietro away from Thanos, which Thanos calmly watched and didn't intervene.
Thanos turned his head towards the gathering of Avengers.
And except few, all of them are looking exhausted and ruffed up, but their fighting spirit has not lessened even a little.
Thanos saw the fighting spirit inside their eyes and scoffed.
He then raised his arm and three of the Infinity Stones instantly lit up. The Time, Soul, and the Power-Stone. He used Time-Stone to reverse the time of his beaten army's injuries, Soul-Stone to bring back their Soul, and the Power-Stone to provide the necessary energy for both actions.
But the moment, the souls of millions came back from death, he felt a Nigh-Omnipotent gaze land on him.
Thanos felt a chill go through his spine, and instantly stopped his action and sent the souls back.
The Nigh-Omnipotent gaze retreated after he sent the souls back.
Thanos felt the boredom alongside slight annoyance from the gaze when in retreated.
He didn't try to revive his troops again, instead, he healed the injured ones and brought his Children back to their peak alongside his own body.
His army also gathered behind him like the Avengers, but unlike them, they were in peak condition.
"Father" Corvus Glaive said and threw Tony's injured body at Thanos's feet.
Thanos looked at Tony's battered body and Armour.
"You have my respect, Stark," Thanos said as Ebony Maw passed him his dual-bladed sword.
"When I'm done half of the humanity will still be alive." Thanos raised his blade and aimed for Tony's head who had already closed his eyes in acceptance.
Steve, Thor and others rushed towards Thanos desperately, while the sorcerer tried to open portals, but found the surrounding space has become extremely unstable, making them unable to open them.
"NOO!!!" Steve screamed while running as he saw the blade descend.
*SCREECH* And when everyone thought Tony's head will roll, the blade collided with something, or someone, and came to a screeching halt.
The whole battlefield descended into silence before the Avenger's side erupted into a full-blown roar of excitement, watching Bryan in his iconic skintight black suit tanking the blade.
"Son of a bitch" Steve unconsciously muttered making Bryan reply with "You kiss your mother with that mouth." Over the comms.
The other Avengers on the comms also teased him, even Tony quipped a sarcastic comment, but everyone can notice the relief in his tone.
Bryan brought his focus back to Thanos.
"If that's all you can do, then I'm not Impressed," Bryan said with a smile and gently blew cold air at the blade on his shoulder.
The dual-bladed sword instantly froze.
Bryan gently knocked the frozen blade, making it crumble into thousands of pieces.
Thanos instantly recovered from his shock and tried to punch Bryan, but a high-speed kick to his chest interrupted the punch and launched him back.
Bryan pulled Tony in a princess carry and flew back towards the Avengers. Tony complained about being carried like a damsel, but Bryan ignored him and continued flying.
"Kill me…" Tony muttered from all the teasing gazes he got after Bryan dropped him.
"You guys looked quite ruffed up, let me fix it," Bryan said as he used his Time Manipulation to reverse their time. Their stamina, energy and injuries recovered or reversed back instantly.
"Now we're talking," Tony said, checking his recovered Armour.
"Pietro!" Wanda yelled as she lands beside the healed Pietro, and before Pietro can reply anything, he was wrapped in a bone-crushing hug.
Pietro embarrassingly pushed Wanda away, making Wanda pout slightly.
"Leave it, we have a battle to fight," Bryan said to pouting Wanda who nodded and looked towards enemies. Her emotions suddenly piked up for a moment when her eyes landed on Thanos, which Bryan caught even with his empathy being turned off.
Bryan frowned at Wanda's hatred towards Thanos, and although he felt that hatred for a moment, he can't help but frown at the intensity of the emotion, he felt from her.
But in the end, he shook his head and thought Wanda's emotions probably going haywire because Thanos crushed Pietro's leg and made him a cripple.
"Steve" Bryan called making Steve nod.
"AVENGERS!" Steve's loud voice sounded as he waited for the Avengers to line up.
Steve waited as the Avengers came and stood side by side, their expression saying how ready they were for the second round.
"ASSEMBLE!!!" The Avengers responded with a powerful war cry and rushed at Thanos's Army.
