Is half a million enough?

"Haha, do you have any misunderstanding about the definition of low-key?" Jack couldn't help but be amused. Though he had once possessed the money ability, in this world, at this moment, he no longer had it. Thus, he could only accept moves from those with the power of money.

However, the impact was close to zero.

"Okay, there is a way." Bruce pondered for a moment, got out of the car, and knocked on the door of the adjacent vehicle.

"Sir?" The car owner opened the door, somewhat cautiously.

"How much does your car cost?" Bruce inquired. "Is half a million enough?"

"That's enough!" The car owner looked surprised.

It was just a second-hand car he had bought for tens of thousands of dollars!

"Well, I bought this car for half a million dollars," Bruce nodded. "You go to the finance department of Wayne Group to get the money, understand?"

"But... but I have no evidence!" the car owner exclaimed, looking confused.

"Well," Bruce asked, "do you have a mobile phone?"

"Yes!"

"Take it out."

When the car owner presented his mobile phone, Bruce took it, snapped a photo of the two of them, and then handed the mobile phone back. Patting the owner on the shoulder, Bruce said, "Take this and go get the money."

"Okay, thank you, Master Wayne!" The car owner's eyes had transformed into dollar signs.

"You're welcome." Bruce steered the Lamborghini to the side of the road, parked it, and then hopped into the car, which had just appreciated nearly twenty times in value, driving towards Narrows Island.

"It's really smooth and flowing," Jack remarked over the phone.

Neither Bruce nor Jack had hung up after Bruce's recent operation, allowing Jack to witness what he deemed a "smooth and smooth" display of skill. However, as Jack listened, he couldn't help but feel the need to tease Bruce for this.

Bruce, still in the midst of the transaction, maintained an air of nonchalance.

While Jack couldn't see Bruce's expression at that moment, he could vividly imagine it, prompting him to playfully question Bruce about the details.

Bruce began, "Do you know the director of Arkham Asylum, Dr. Klein?"

"I know. He's the one providing cover for Falconi's people and conducting psychiatric evaluations for his criminal underlings to keep them out of jail," Bruce replied.

"Yes, that Dr. Klein is actually a psychopath. He secretly conducted human experiments and invented a fear gas. The effect is as frightening as the name suggests. He's now imprisoned in Arkham, and these patients inside should have basically become lunatics," Jack explained.

Bruce couldn't help but smile at the absurdity of the situation. After processing the information, he asked, "But what does this have to do with what you told me before? Will this matter endanger the entire Gotham City?"

"The problem lies in this fear gas," Jack explained, gesturing toward the almost overflowing iron bucket containing the fear gas. "Dr. Klein should have poured these fear gas liquids into Gotham City's water supply system."

"What?!" Bruce exclaimed, his hands momentarily trembling with shock.

"Rest assured, talking about the effect without considering the dosage would be quite reckless," Jack reassured, his tone taking a playful turn. "Based on my observation, the gas seems to manifest its effects primarily when it enters the lungs. Do you catch my drift?"

"So, you're saying... it's safe to ingest directly?" Bruce inquired.

"That depends on the dosage. At the current concentration, the human immune system can handle it without any adverse effects," Jack explained.

Relieved, Bruce sighed, "Ah, got it."

"But," Jack interjected, prompting a frustrated response from Bruce. "Can you just spill it all out at once!" Bruce exclaimed.

"The catch is that at the current concentration, if it evaporates into gas, it will still have a potent effect when inhaled," Jack continued.

Bruce scratched his head, processing the information. "So, as long as it doesn't evaporate, we're good, right? But how likely is it to evaporate? Maybe just a bit?"

"That's a different question," Jack responded. "It's quite possible."

With a touch of humor, Jack added, "I believe I could easily make a million dollars with this knowledge, but, you know, I'm not interested in that."
