CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE:The beginning Of The End.

There's being a whole lot of question Catleya wanted to ask for quite some time,but she decided to hold it until she's sure about her suspicion.

Firstly,there's been a change in the dining table settings that she has asked yesterday, if there's anyone who was coming over for dinner.

Her mother was not the person to get quite verbal when she's eating,and had only glared at her to remind her of the  table manners.

Secondly,there's been tight security recently.Especially around Tiana's quarter,which added more to her suspicion that something is wrong.

There's absolutely no way her niece would come back,and she doesn't know.If she really was back,there would have been one or two clashes between her and her grandma.

But right now,she doesn't know if she's still sure about her assumption that Tiana isn't back, because her mother's lawyer just walked into her room.

She hasn't seen her brother around lately,which was another problem.what if their mother had him locked away, because he's starting to prove stubborn recently after hearing about Tiana's marriage?

She can do that.

Catrina Hamilton was able to do,and has done that to both of them once when they had disobeyed  her order.

That had been a long time when they were kids,but that doesn't stop her from doing that again now because they are now adults.

She got the power and she never fails to use it when it's being required, regardless of who they were to her,she wouldn't think twice of removing anyone who's a blocking stone to her success.

That's who her mother is, sometimes,it always gets her into deep thinking about how her dad got to fall in love with a woman like her.

God!

She's so  cold.

Even to her own family.

Yet, she's not changing or thinking of doing that, even as she's getting older as the day passes and her health is failing her.

God have mercy on her soul.

Catleya prayed,which it's not even five minutes her lawyer's went into her study room to talk business with her, she's already yelling at  someone.

Does it never cross her mom's mind, that she could slump and die from a fucking high blood pressure,with the way she's acting.

It was made known to Catleya  that whatever was going on inside there,and her mother's shouting wasn't at the lawyer that was in there with her,when her secretary came running into the house with two guards.

Okay,now something is definitely wrong.

She stood up,ready to barge into her mother's room but the door swung open with full force,and the angry looking face of Caterina was shown.

May God have mercy on the soul of the person who pissed her off.

She thought.

Catleya  knew that the game had changed, the moment her mother gave her secretary a hot slap right in front of everyone present in the room.

"Why couldn't you stop him!!"She yelled.

"I'm  so sorry ma'am,his men couldn't let us in until the press release was over ''Secretary Parker apologized,with  his head hung low in disappointment.

Had it been her lawyer's weren't here,she could have done a whole lot more than slapping him.

She could have thrown something his way to break his head,maybe that would make him remember who  he's working for.Catrina Hamilton, and not someone else just like she would say.

But none of the situation happening right now was any of his fault,he wasn't immortal to know that her son would go against her back to expose what she's doing.

Likewise her,she doesn't have any idea that Axel would do such a thing by publicly announcing to the whole world,about his disapproval of his mother marrying off his child without her consent.

"You could have brought the whole building down,and let everyone in there die!"She roared once more.

"But the grand master is inside there to…"Secretary Parker tried to let her know what she's saying,but she cut him short asap!

Her son was inside the building,and here she was talking about bringing down the building with her son inside.

"I don't care,how do you expect me to fix the mess he just created when you can't do a good job,by keeping a close eye on him just like you were instructed!"She yelled further,scaring the shit out of the two  lawyers at her back.

This was probably the first time they had seen her in such a state,and also she was aged ,yet she still had the energy pooping through her veins like some teenager to be shouting.

"I'm sorry my la ..",

"That's enough mother"The baritone, and  determined voice of Axel spoked up from the back making his presence known to everyone, including Catleya who's still shocked at what her  brother  did.

Did he eat something wrong today?

Was that Axel Hamilton trending on the news right now, opposing their mothers decision to get Tiana married to the first  son of the  Chesterfields?

Wow!

Tiana needs to see this.

"Wow, finally the ungrateful  idiot is back after shading his mother black and blue to the world "Catrina lashes out moving to him with slow steps,while Axel watches with calculative eyes in case she had something she would use to injure him.

He knew his mother too well to know that whenever she's angry,her hands are always itchy to get something to use against her opponent.

If he didn't know his mother too well,he would say that she's insane and  needs to be locked up.

But she's okay, perfectly fine with her stubborn nature still rolling regardless of old age on her side.

"Mother,he.."Catleya tried Interfering into the situation,from the look of things it's going to get really loud very soon and messy,but she was shut up too.

"Stay out of this!You are not any better because i know you are involved with this ingrates  to stab me in the back"She pointed at her daughter.

"Mother seriously? You know i couldn't find any better way to get you to realize that you are making a mistake.For the love of God Tiana is just twenty three mother,she's nothing but a kid"

"A kid who wants to kill me before my  time,that's what she is!''She retorted back,with so much anger in her tone before standing  in front of her son.

Catleya gave a sign to the secretary who escorted the lawyers out, that's enough  drama  for the day and Caterina had kept them entertained.But leaving is best before they get a share of her anger.

"Mother,you are making this hard tha…"

'Shut up will you?!"With her hand  raised higher in the air, everyone knew what was coming.

Mr.Hamilton was about to get slapped,but rather sometime else happened, something that they knew would eventually happen some say soon..

The falling of Catrina on the ground was what they didn't expect at that moment,right at that moment, Axel regretted doing what he did.

"Mother!"He called,pulling her to his chest to feel her pulse,it was faint but weak.

"Call the doctor!"Catleya yelled at the guards who rushed out to get the family doctor,before rushing to her mother.

"She's going to be okay,it's not your fault"She told Axel,who she knew was already thinking of what just happened,and what would come out of this incident if his mother dies because of him.

Catleya assurred him, before looking up towards the stairs to see Tiana standing.Her eyes fixed directly on her grandma.

She wondered what exactly was running through her mind at that moment, but whatever it is she didn't care to know.

Her mother isn't dying anytime soon.

This is nothing, but the beginning of the end!
