Chapter 20 -The New Development

Following this incident, security was heightened around all the factories, bringing a momentary sense of relief to our country.

Over the past six months, my focus has extended beyond paper production, leading to the establishment of several other factories with high financial demands but a commitment to advancing technology at an accelerated pace.

These factories, totaling five in number, are divided into two types: three factories focus on producing materials using natural substances like rubber, fabric, resin, etc., while the remaining two specialize in iron molding techniques. The iron molding process involves the use of a "blast furnace," an idea conceptualized by me. Additionally, a "chain furnace" was manufactured, playing a crucial role in one of my latest inventions.

Thanks to these factory setups, the occupancy rate of our kingdom's citizens has soared to 80 percent, evoking widespread happiness and contentment. The citizens express their joy by praising both me and the king, recognizing the positive impact of the innovations and improvements in their lives. This sense of pride and happiness acts as a deterrent to any notion of leaving the kingdom, thereby preventing what we may now term 'Brain Drain,' even though the concept did not exist in this era.

During this period, I also took the opportunity to rename the Paper Factory to "Veer Vijay Kagaz," the Steel Production Factory to "Veer Vijay Steel," the Rubber Factory to "Vijay Rubber Factory," and my latest factory, utilizing raw materials from "Veer Vijay Steel and Vijay Rubber Factory," to "Veer Vahaan." These establishments collectively fall under the management of the main company, "Arjun Vijay Sankalp."

With an array of materials at our disposal, my aim is to manufacture bicycles and their mechanisms to create rickshaws. I plan to design special rickshaws for nobles and leverage the mechanism to facilitate the fast transport of military cannons from one location to another. This initiative also serves as a stepping stone to comprehend the mechanism of tube wells, aligning with my future plans for the development of farms and crops.

After all these preparations, I find myself once again in the royal court, facing the king and the ministers. Speaking with authority and a noble aura, I address the assembly, 'Everyone present here, I am here once again to present another idea to you all. This concept involves a significant financial investment compared to the expected returns, but it aims to revolutionize our kingdom, enhance our prestige among other realms, and potentially yield long-term profits. It could also contribute to an increase in the occupancy rates of our kingdom and to balance the financial problems we have Veer Vijay Kagaz."

Upon hearing this, the king, visibly intrigued, inquired, "What are your upcoming projects, Prince Arjun? Could you please provide a detailed explanation of the financial structure you're proposing?" The noble ministers, expressing their confidence through approving nods, eagerly awaited my response.

In reply, I proceeded to elaborate, "The new endeavor involves the production of bicycles that falls under the umbrella of Veer Vahans. This ingenious invention comprises two wheels connected by a frame, powered solely by the rider's pedaling. It is not just a means of transportation but a symbol of progress and efficiency. The bicycle offers a sustainable and cost-effective mode of travel for our citizens, reducing dependence on traditional methods. Its introduction can significantly impact our kingdom's connectivity, improving communication and commerce. Moreover, I envision designer rickshaws for nobles, adorned with intricate details, demonstrating our commitment to both function and aesthetics. As we delve into this venture under the umbrella of 'Veer Vahaan,' we embrace not just a mode of transportation but a vehicle for progress and prosperity."

As Prince Arjun unveiled the concept of the bicycle, a wave of curiosity and anticipation swept through the royal court. The king, elders, and nobles exchanged intrigued glances, eager to comprehend the significance of this novel idea. King's countenance reflected a blend of curiosity and cautious optimism, his eyes fixed on Arjun as he absorbed the details. The elders, wise and discerning, exchanged nods, silently acknowledging the potential impact this innovation could have on the kingdom's progress.

Nobles, initially perplexed, began to grasp the transformative nature of Arjun's proposal. Some leaned forward, captivated by the prospect, while others exchanged excited whispers. The court was filled with a buzz of discussions, and a few nobles couldn't conceal their genuine enthusiasm. Arjun's ability to envision not just a mode of transportation but a symbol of advancement resonated with the forward-thinking nobility.

In the midst of the reactions, the king, embodying a mix of contemplation and interest, finally spoke, "Prince Arjun, your ideas continue to push the boundaries of our kingdom's progress. This 'bicycle' concept holds promise, and we are eager to hear more about its practical applications and potential benefits for our people. Proceed with your explanation."

The court's atmosphere shifted from initial uncertainty to a palpable anticipation, as Prince Arjun prepared to delve into the intricacies of his visionary proposal.

Prince Arjun stood poised before the royal court, ready to elaborate on the financial intricacies of his visionary bicycle manufacturing venture. With a commanding presence, he began to unravel the details, addressing the king, elders, and nobles with clarity and conviction.

"Esteemed King, honored elders, and respected nobles, let me shed light on the financial structure of our bicycle manufacturing under the banner of 'Veer Vahaan.' While the initial investment may appear substantial, the long-term benefits and transformative impact on our kingdom are unparalleled."

Arjun proceeded to explain the cost distribution, emphasizing the use of 'Veer Vijay Kagaz' to maintain a stable economy. "Veer Vijay Kagaz, our paper production entity, will play a crucial role in supporting this venture. By utilizing the resources and revenue generated from Veer Vijay Kagaz, we ensure a balanced financial ecosystem within our kingdom."

He continued, "The bicycles produced will cater to the common citizens, providing them with an affordable and efficient mode of transportation. The revenue generated from the sale of these bicycles, along with potential exports, will contribute to sustaining and expanding this enterprise. Moreover, the positive impact on our kingdom's image and the potential increase in occupancy rates further contribute to the long-term financial prosperity."

Arjun's explanation was met with a thoughtful silence as the court absorbed the strategic alignment of resources and funds. The nobles, recognizing the symbiotic relationship between 'Veer Vahaan' and 'Veer Vijay Kagaz,' nodded in approval. The king and elders, while contemplating the risks and benefits, awaited further insights.

In response to Arjun's comprehensive explanation, the king acknowledged, "Prince Arjun, your foresight in merging economic stability with innovation is commendable. Continue with your vision, and may this initiative bring prosperity to our kingdom." The court, now engaged and intrigued, awaited the unfolding chapters of this transformative journey.

After Prince Arjun's comprehensive explanation and the ensuing discussion, the king took a moment to reflect on the proposed venture. The court was filled with an air of anticipation as the monarch gathered his thoughts. Eventually, King, in a solemn tone, addressed the assembly, "I appreciate Prince Arjun's dedication to the progress and prosperity of our kingdom. The potential benefits and the strategic approach presented are duly noted."

He continued, "This decision requires careful consideration, and I will deliberate with the council of elders to ensure that it aligns with the best interests of our people. For now, let this matter rest. The court is adjourned."

With these words, the king signaled the end of the session, and the members of the court dispersed, each carrying with them the weight of the potential transformation that lay ahead. Prince Arjun's vision had set in motion a series of considerations that would shape the future of the kingdom.
