A Mew Adventure

A Shiny female Mew in a brand new world, will she survive with her sanity intact? Or will she Snap? . . A Self Insert fic where a woman wakes up in the body of a shiny level 100 Mew with the twelve moves they can naturally learn by leveling up. Now, how to escape this desert? At least Transform works. Painful as heck, true, but it works. A little too well, even. . . . Female protagonist that can change into any Pokémon. No Yuri. This will be straight romance, though more focused in the adventure/action. . . This is the fic I use to recharge from other fics so updates won't be constant. Though I've got eight more chapters already written in my p_treon, so you know where to go if you feeling curious.

Chapter 48

And that's how she spends the part of two hours inside what she's sure is the New York Sanctum. She returns to her tent, mentally tired. She sleeps like a log, without dreams, but still wakes up early thanks to all the noise going around because of the soldiers. She changes clothes quickly into something more military-looking, but her blue hair still makes her stand out.

Some soldiers give her a brief look, but she ignores them as she goes to her assigned bunker. When she reaches the place she's sure is the right room, she doesn't bother with knowing, already knowing thanks to her senses that it's empty. Though it looks more like a lab, there are adjacent empty rooms perfect for what she needs.

Afterward, the whole day is full of meditation with her first dulling the memories of all the one who have seen her so as not to make them inclined to share their experiences with her. That way, information about her won't spread. Then, it's checking the ones who she hasn't rescued, but have had probably heard some of what happened, mostly the medical personnel, to see if they have heard something about her.

After modifying their memories, she goes to the Colonel and Peggy to inform them that the massive change in the minds of the ones she recued will be at night, when they're asleep as it was planned.

Luckily, she remembers how it went in the film, so she just needs to give them the idea that the one who rescued them is Steve, who she hasn't seen all day now that she thinks about it, with her alongside him.

Shaking her head to clear her mind, she transforms into Deoxys inside a large room with a lot of inventions sprawled around for the boost of power.

She's still in the same room of before. This time with Peggy and Howard near her to observe, with the former being authorized to be here. The latter, well. Actually, she doesn't know how Howard found out about it. She knows the Colonel is near, but she hasn't seen him. She could easily send a mental prove to see where everyone is but, she doesn't pay much attention as she doesn't really care.

"Huh, so this is your natural form," she hears him mutter. He tries to look at her from all angles but luckily is stopped by Peggy before he can do more than just circle her.

She doesn't sigh because her lack of mouth, but still tries, and manages, to convey her feelings about his whole excitement.

'I'll start now, so please don't disturb me,' she says. Peggy nods and seems to want to add something but it is then that the door opens, showing the super soldier in all of his glory.

She glances at Peggy who is glaring at Howard. "You didn't close the door when you followed me?"

Obviously, he ignores her. "Hey, aren't you supposed to be picking up a medal right about now?"

"I'm off the publicity circuit," he says just as the Colonel opens the door. "Rogers, you just embarrassed a senior in front of dozen reporters and ten members of the Parliament."

Rogers posture is sheepish but his eyes are determined. Luckily for him, that only makes the Colonel smirk. "You deserve a medal just for that."

He then glances at her and gives her a once over before glancing at something behind her. She doesn't need to look back to know what it is as she can feel its energy even in its current small and sealed way. It's the cartridge that contains some of the Space stone.

"Did you figure out what this is, yet?" the Colonel says turning to Howard.

"Well, if you believe Rogers, it's apparently the most explosive know to man."

Steve frowns his brows. "If?"

"Well, either you're wrong or Schmidt's damn near rewrote the laws of physics." He walks towards some part she's now guessing is his lab, before aborting the motion and looking at her and returning to his previous place. "And I'm rather fond of the law of physics."

'Sigh.'

"Did you just mentally said 'sigh'?" he says with a giddy look. She ignores him, turning her head away from him where she sees Philips looking over the map with the HYDRA facilities.

"These are all of Hydra's factories," he says as an afterthought.

Stever is clear to point out with his free hand, the other one filled with files of different thickness. "The ones we know about. But sergeant Barnes said Hydra shipped all the bombs to another facility. And that wasn't on the map."

"Agent Carter, coordinate with MI6. I want every Allied eyeball looking for that main Hydra base."

"What about us?" Steve says, his hand tightening on the files. The Colonel looks at it before smirking.

"We're going to light a fire under Johann Schmidt's ass." He points to the files. "I think you had a similar idea. So, what do you say, Rogers? It's your map. Think you can wipe hydra off it?"

Steve posture straightens, his eyes filled with determination. "I'm going to need a team."

The Colonel smirks, his eyes not leaving the files as he grabs some other files from his desk, "We've already started lining up the best men—"

"If you don't mind, sir… so have I." He turns to look at her. "That's why I'm here before you wipe the memory of everyone. I have a request to make. Well, two, actually."

She tilts her head in curiosity, glad she doesn't have a mouth otherwise her grin would be hard to wipe. 'What is it?'

"I want you to not erase the mind of the men in these files."

She turns to glance at the files the Colonel and Peggy are looking. Some very familiar names are in it.

"I don't mind these men," the Colonel says after reading. "However you've to choose at least one or two from the files I'm giving you. They're all also here so you can talk to them at the same time, if you want."

Giving him the files he obtained from his desk, Steve now is the ones to leaf through them. She's curious so she leans forward as she says, 'What was the second request that…'

She trails off when Steve opens one of the files, her eyes widening. They all notice her lapse in attention. Steve is quick to look at her and then at the file on his hand. "Do you know him?"

She really is not sure. She hopes it's not him as there's no picture for her to really know if the guy is the one she thinks it is. Her memory is spotty at best with this kind of info, after all. So maybe she's wrong?

... There must be lots of James Howlett in the army, right???
