Since she keeps hearing the name Amelia, the grandaughter is intrigued about her grandfather's past. They claimed it was a memory from his past that he would never forget. She dared to inquire about his past one day, and her grandfather did not hesitate to share it with her. Everything began in the past. Arthur and Amelia's love story is reminiscent of a storybook, but not all fairytales have happy endings. They liked each other the first time they saw each other, but they are unaware of their feelings for one other. Arthur transferred to the school where Amelia was studying. This is the first time Arthur has paid attention to a woman. I just had one thing to say. He was head over heels in love with a girl named 'Amelia.' However, Amelia was concerned that if Arthur knew of her condition, he would distance himself from her. Kaliyah's Point of View: The past
April 25, 2020
I have a lot of questions I'd like to ask Grandpa Arthur, but I don't have the ability to do so. The questions that have been bothering me will continue to bother me.
Where did my grandfather's past go?
What happened to my grandmother? What is her given name? or whoever she is.
Who is amelia?
I'm already 18 years old for God's sake!
After removing the spoon and walking to the balcony, I added a little sugar to the coffee and mixed it.
When I saw Grandpa on the balcony, as he always did, I smiled. As a result, I approached and placed my freshly prepared coffee on a tiny table in the center. Because he suddenly looked up, it appears that I woke up my grandfather.
"Sorry if I'm bothering you, Grandpa. I prepared you some coffee because I assumed you were awake "I sat down in front of him and said something.
"Kaliyah, thank you." He thanked me and took the coffee, leisurely sipping it.
I stood there watching him drink his coffee, wondering if I should ask him the questions I'd been meaning to ask him for a long time.
"What exactly is it?"
Because of his abrupt speech, I stared at my grandfather and wondered what he was talking about.
"It seems that you want to tell something to me" I gulped and stared at her when he asked. Perhaps it's time to ask about Grandpa's past. If I attempt, I'm confident that nothing will be happened.
I sat up and looked at my grandfather, who appeared to be perplexed. "I'm simply interested about something... at every family event, I always hear the word 'Amelia,' and they say she's a part of your past you'll never forget... Is this my grandmother?" It was finally said.
Since I was a child, I had never heard anything about my grandmother. I had no idea who she was. Grandpa was surprised by what I said. He set his coffee on the table and stared at me, his face gloomy.
"I-if you don't want to say anything, that's fine with me," I murmured as I stood up to leave, but he abruptly spoke up.
Grandpa added, "She was my first love and my last." I glanced at him again and sat down.
Last but not least? Is she, in fact, my grandmother?
"Our love story is like a fairytale but not everyone in the fairytale has a happy ending" he added.
ehh?
"If it's okay with you, I'd want to hear your fairytale story?" When Grandpa stated that, it piqued my interest even more.
Grandpa began the story by saying, "I met her while I was a high school student."
The past...
Arthur Point of View:
May 5, 1975
"I can't tell you how many times I've told you to stay away from that mess!" My father yelled at me, as he often did, and he was enraged. He said, "Look, sniff yourself, I can smell the alcohol!"
"Father, how many times do I have to tell you that I was punched by a drunk man?" I explained.
"Your reasoning is invalid! What makes you think I'll believe you?"
I'm so tired of having to justify myself to them. They expect them to be correct all of the time.
"Okay, alright, believe whatever you want. I'm finished with you!" I replied and was about to walk away when he asked me a favor.
"Then we'll have to come up with a agreement ," my father remarked, and I turned to face him. "What? What exactly do you mean?" In astonishment, I inquired.
"I'll transfer you to the school of one of my friends. You'll spend a year studying there. I'll let you do whatever you want when you finish that, Arthur. I'm not going to bother you anymore. Just one year and you can do whatever you want." He appears to be taking his words seriously.
"I'll go along with your decision."
I like what my father stated, therefore I accepted it without hesitation. "But when I do that, make sure you keep the deal," I urged, and he nodded. He was going to walk away, but he suddenly spoke.
"Oh, and I failed to mention that at 2:00 p.m., you should go to the school address that I will provide you with. I've already enrolled you since I know this is going to happen, so I'm doing it ahead of time "As a result of what he said, I grimaced.
"Now? But, father, you've got this! Today I'm not in the right state of mind to study! And why is this happening so quickly?
"We've already made a deal, and you can't change it. Don't worry about your current school; I'll take care of it." he said, and he finally left me shaking my head, irritated.
"AHHH FATHER!" I screamed.
I guess I won't be able to do anything because I already agreed to his terms. I checked the time on my small wristwatch, and it was already 12:21 p.m. after a short period of time When I got into my room, I quickly took a shower since I couldn't stand the stench of the alcohol on my shirt. I took the paper given to me by our maid after I took a bath.
That was the address of the school where I was going. "What type of school is this, there are classes on Saturdays?" I wondered as I flipped through the newspaper. I exited the room and checked the time on my watch, rushing out of the house once I realized what time it was. The time is 1:02 p.m. I need to leave early because the school appears to be quite far away. I'm also not going to drive because my car is broken and needs to be fixed.
I was waiting for the bus at the bus station, and when it came to a stop, I got on board. When I got on the bus, it was packed and there were no seats available, so I went to the center and grabbed the iron before standing up. Because the bus was moving, I held even tighter to the steel I was clutching.
I scanned the surroundings and came upon a mom and her child who looked adorable together. I suddenly remembered my mother, who had died the previous year. I shifted my sight to the back of the room. A man is reading a book, and the girl next to him appears to be sleeping.
Then I realize that there are roughly five of us on the bus. When I switched my gaze to the front, I noticed a woman who grabbed my attention. If I were to characterize her, I would say she was a simple person. She was clutching her eye glasses and looked out the window, simple yet gorgeous. Her hair was dark blonde, which suited her perfectly. While I was looking at her, I couldn't help but smile.
I adore how her lips are rosy. She did not even move her gaze away from the window. Her pleasant face gives her the impression of being friendly and approachable. She was the girl I had seen in my dreams. I still can't take my gaze away from him. Then our eyes staring collided. My heartbeat became faster all of a sudden. When she sees me, she appears startled.
Should I ask her name when this bus stops, which implies I won't see her again? or her phone number?
