CHAPTER 12

<After the break they Prince and Evelyn went back to class and the day continues, with Prince subconsciously ignoring Angela, making her mad at him. She chooses to ignore him and even got to know the other new student apart from Evelyn who is Chris>

Angela: <to herself> i really can't believe Prince ignored me today all because of that Evelyn girl...

<her thoughts were caught short by Chris>

Chris: Excuse me

Angela: <snaps at him> what is it?

Chris: relax i just wanted to know if you are ok because you were lost in thoughts

Angela: it's none of your business, just avoid me

Chris: If you say so but a word of advice, as a girl try to smile often it makes you look prettier

Angela: <surprised> really

Chris: yeah <turns to leave but Angela stops him>

Angela: Wait what's your name?

Chris: Thought you would never ask

Angela: sorry about that i had a lot going on

Chris: so can i be privilege to know?

Angela: No it's personal

Chris: ok my name is Chris Solavor, what about you?Angela: i am Angela Patel

Chris: We can get to know each other better

Angela: sure

Chris: If i may ask, why do you always look at that boy? I have been observing you

Angela: <absentmindedly> His my boyfriend... <tries to stop herself but it was too late>

Chris: oo i see, but why aren't you with him instead of that girl

Angela: Its nothing, mind your business

Angela: <frowns> its nothing, mind your business

Chris: his he cheating on you?

Angela: stop talking

Chris: oo i get it now, he is cheating on you with that girl, i admit she is pretty but.... <Angela cuts him short>

Angela: I said you should mind your business, is that so much to ask. We have differences between us doesn't mean you can meddle in our affairs. Stay away from me <she walks away>

Chris: <stops her> sorry about what i said, i shouldn't have, it's just me being foolish

Angela: If you want us to keep talking don't repeat what you said today ever again

Chris: I won't

Angela: Good

<The teacher walks into the class to continue the rest of the class for the day, after closing Prince realise that he had ignored Angela today and was really angry at himself, he asked around for Angela but was told that she has gone home with the new guy Chris. Prince decides to call her when he gets home to apologise>

AT HOME

<On getting home Prince tries calling Angela several times but she wasn't answering his calls, he knew she is really angry at him for ignoring her warnings he will have to talk to her tomorrow, he was so worried that he did not know when his sister came into his room>

Christana: Prince what is the problem, why do you look so worried?

Prince: It's nothing

Christana: you can't tell me it's nothing when i can see worry written all over your face

Prince: <signs deeply as he tells his sister what happened in school today>

Christana: ok if i get correctly you ignored Angela for a girl she warned you to stay away from?

Prince: i didn't ignore her intentionally

Christana: but you still did, so you have to apologise to Angela when you see her tomorrow and also stay away from Evelyn

Prince: But Evelyn is my friend i can't do that to her

Christana: Evelyn is your friend but Angela is your Girlfriend, you have to choose who has more priority. When i said you should stay away from Evelyn i never meant you should avoid her rather you should reduce your interactions with her to make Angela feel comfortable

Prince: <signs again> so it's me that messed up

Christana: yep

Prince: ok i will do as you say

Christana: better, i came up to tell you that i will be going to the market. If you want to eat your foods is in the freezer, microwave and eat

Prince: ok what about mum?

Christana: she isn't back from her store

Prince: ok then you can leave

Christana: bye and take care of yourself <she leaves>
