CHAPTER SIX (CELEBRATION)

Women took off their wrappers and spread them on the road for their king and soldiers to walk on, it showed their respect and happiness.

Young maidens of the kingdom came to dance before the king as a welcome-back possession.

After all the dancing and singing, the king addressed his people happily.

After addressing them, they all fell to their knees and bowed before him. The ten most beautiful maidens of the kingdom were offered to the king as wives but he rejected them all and promised to send the beautiful girls to missionary schools to get educated.

Now that there was no more war and they had the powers to protect themselves, the girl's parents were more than happy to accept the king's decision.

From then onwards, no kingdom dared to oppress the Kugama people rather powerless kingdoms around also came to plead with the Kugama people to help them fight their attackers and King Bajju was more than ready to help out.

Kugama kingdom became a Nation with smaller kingdoms under them spread across everywhere.

The spirit wisperers words came to pass. Three years later, the queen bore twin daughters to the king, and the entire kingdom was filled with dancing and singing.

The palace was well decorated for the infant naming ceremony. The queen was dressed beautifully in a white attire with a golden robe and her golden crown matched well with her attire.

On her hands and feet she wore beads and a tiny golden ring gifted to her by the king after he saw the precious bundles of joy she brought into his world.

She sat down on her golden chair smiling by her husband's side. To her, she was the luckiest queen on earth because every king that ascends the throne is given the right to marry up to ten wives but King Bajju is the first king she has ever seen to have married only her.

"I am so elated. Today I was blessed with two little angels, looking at them I feel so proud of myself." The king said as he held both his daughters in his hands. He was filled with emotions, he even wanted to cry but a king dare not cry before his people.

The conducting of the naming ceremony was starting when they suddenly heard chanting as six spirit whisperers made their way into the palace.

The king went on his knees before them, this was shocking to all the people because they didn't know who these strange people were and even the king showed so much respect for them.

"Rise great king for we are happy with your humbleness," Kadu said gently to the king and placed her hand on his shoulder, with a smile, King Bajju said to them.

"Whatever you say is the truth. Today and my entire kingdom can celebrate because of you, without any fear or thoughts of future attacks and that is why bowing my head before you will be nothing compared to what you have done."

"Save the appreciation for another day, for now, I want to see the precious souls," Agu said and made her way forward.

The guards swiftly took out their swords and pointed them at her in defense. Agu looked at them and her eyes turned green, she was upset and before King Bajju could say anything, she opened her mouth, and with one word she sent them flying away like paper.

"How dare mere morals threaten me with weapons," Agu said and scoffed.

She went towards the queen who held her babies tightly to her breasts and got ready to protect them in case this imposter tried anything.

"Give me the precious souls," Agu said, scaring the queen even more.

"No, I will never hand over my babies to you." The queen said and turned towards her husband, she called to him.

"Your Highness."

Agu couldn't waste time with such a weak woman. She raised her hands and the little kids slipped out of their mother's hand and floated in the air. The queen gasped and got up.

"Agu, stop now. Enough of that, you haven't changed at all." King Bajju said with a smile.

"She refused to give me the precious souls," Agu complained looking at the babies in her hand.

"Let me have them." King Bajju said and stretched his hands forward. Agu looked at them for a little longer and then gave them to the king.

"One of the precious souls looks like you," Agu said to King Bajju and he smiled. If Agu wasn't a spirit whisperer, he would have dared to have her as his second wife.

"Is that why you wanted to look at both of them more closely?" King Bajju asked.
