Mr. Leonard was done after some minutes and came over to the dining to eat.

"So what do we have for dinner?..." Mr. Leonard asked.

"Jellof rice with fish" Gabriella replied.

"Wow... Can't wait to eat. I'm so hungry..." Mr. Leonard said and started eating.

"Uncle... There is something you need to know" Gabriella said after a couple of minutes.

"Talk to me..." Mr. Leonard replied.

"It's about Liam..." Gabriella started and paused.

"Yes... What about him?" Mr. Leonard asked.

"Actually, I lied earlier.... Liam hasn't been home for the past two days now. He... He was stabbed" Gabriella said.

"What?... Where is he?" Mr. Leonard felt as if his world has crumbled. The boy needs to survive .

"Luckily, Cassandra was there so she took him home and he is getting better" Gabriella replied.

"Thank God...." Mr. Leonard was relieved.

"Can I go see him?" Mr. Leonard asked.

"Sure... But after the meal" Gabriella replied.

"Yes ma..." Mr. Leonard said playfully.

Cassandra and Liam were chatting and laughing when Gabriella and Mr. Leonard arrived.

"Uncle Leonard..." Liam said excitedly.

"Good evening sir" Cassandra greeted.

"Evening dear" Mr. Leonard replied.

"Cassandra, that's my father's younger brother" Liam whispered to Cassandra and she could only nod her head.

"So ladies can you please excuse us?... You we have some men issues to discuss." Mr. Leonard said.

"Ok..." The girls replied and went out.

"Who she?" Mr. Leonard asked curiously.

"Uhmmm... A friend" Liam replied nervously scratching his head.

"Hmmm just a friend?" Mr. Leonard asked teasingly.

"Well... She is my girlfriend" Liam replied shyly.

"I see..." Mr. Leonard said with a wide smile.

"So... Let's get back to business... Can you tell me what happened the day you were stabbed?" Mr. Leonard asked and Liam narrated everything.

"I think I need to investigate this to know who is behind it" Mr. Leonard said after listening to Liam.

"I already know who is behind it" Liam said.

"Who is it?" Mr. Leonard was anxious to find out.

"Robert..." Liam replied.

"What?...." Mr. Leonard was shocked.

"I thought he left the country?" Mr. Leonard asked.

"No... Only his daughter left. But she is back" Liam replied.

"Liam, there is something I need to tell you but you will have to wait till your 18th birthday" Mr. Leonard said.

"My birthday is just two weeks away" Liam replied.

"Yeah.... You have to be patient" Mr. Leonard said.

"Why?" Liam asked.

"Because... I promised your dad that I will only tell you when you turn 18" Mr. Leonard said.

"Oh... I see" Liam replied thoughtfully.

"So... I guess I have to get going. I really need some rest" Mr. Leonard said.

"Alright... Bye" Liam replied.

"Take care of yourself" Mr. Leonard added before heading for the door.

"I will" Liam replied.
