Chapter Ten

"Yo,Kaiden?!" A guy called out.startling me from the position we were in,as I struggled to get loose while he held me tighter.

"Kai-"I began complaining and he shut me up with a kiss as I heard the guy calling,laugh as he listened.

"I'll tell the coach your wrapping it up"he said chuckling as we heard him leave.

"You're unbelievable" I said getting out of his shirt,for him to get dressed and he chuckled.

"And yet here we are!" He teased now dressed.

"But seriously though Kaiden,how are you not hurt?" I inquired once again

"It's Loyd we're talking about,he doesn't have the wits to injure me,am okay really" he answered confidently

"Liar"I cursed to myself staring at him with a smile.

"Let's get out of here! Treehouse?" He suggested and I nodded

And we left the locker room after he returned his things,kept the dirty jersey in the basket and we went back to the benches.looking at the scoreboard,were were still leading.i left his side and went to Debby.

"Are you alright?" I asked

"Am great! This game is intense" she replied with a genuine smile "You're leaving?" She cleverly inquired.

"Yes" I admitted "how did you-"

"Your lipstick is smothered and he's over there convincing coach to leave" she said and I chuckled blushing.

"Will you be okay?" I asked

"Of course! When the game ends I'll go see Jackson" she beamed and I faked a buffing sound "Get out of here!" She said and we laughed.

After Kaiden was done talking to the coach,he came to me and we left the field.the cheerleaders gave me sharp look,as we passed by,noticing this Kaiden took my arm,intertwined it with his and kissed my knuckles as a few "aww's" were heard from the crowd.we had to pass by the other teams bench to get to the parking lot,and our path was blocked almost instantly by there captain.

"(Whistles) What do we have here? Team captain gets his own cheerleader!I'm offended guys,where's mine?!" He teased and they laughed.

Appearing from the other side,Kira came by in need of Kaiden,and easily pushed her way passed him.

"Correction Jake! Two cheerleaders!" Another player commented and they laughed

"Damn! And I have- none! But hey,she would suit me perfectly." he teased intending to touch me.

Kaiden instantly held onto Jake's wrist and he was in so much pain,the veins in his head started to show,as he struggled to get loose.

"Don't you lay a finger on her!" he warned coldly

Instinctively both of us held onto his hands. i clinged onto his open arm and Kira held the hand he was using to aggressively punish the guy.

"Kaiden,calm down!" Kira said firmly

"Kaiden!Kaiden! it's okay,let him go!" I said and he turned to look at me,the rage in his eyes was vivid,how he lost his temper that fast beats me.

He released him and his print was engraved on his now red wrist as he held it in pain and his team members went to check on him.he was still looking at me and my hand on his and slowly calmed down.Kira was also surprised with my ability to calm him,as only she was able to do that.we left that area and they didn't dare utter a word more.

On the parking lot,Kira took a hold of him and gave me a look that I understood,and I backed away giving them space.

"Are you crazy!? Or are you just trying to get us exposed?!" She demanded in a harsh yet settle voice

"Keep it down!" Kaiden ordered looking at me as I pretended to be fidgeting with my hair.

"That hit you received was supposed to break your ribs or something!"

"It did,two on my left"

"Then you were supposed to get checked?! You weren't supposed to just walk out unharmed!"

"Relax,no one paid attention to that!"

"Yeah sure!! And the guy's wrist that you almost broke! No one saw that too! A normal human doesn't break someone's bone,Kaiden!"

"Okay I get it! I didn't break the guy!"

"That's not it,not everyone is stupid as you think! anyone can get curious and be onto us,your ridiculous little antics can get all of us discovered!! You wanna keep your little bitch?keep her! But not at our expense!"

"Watch what you say about her, Kira! I'm dead serious!" He ordered with anger.

"Go to hell!!" She yelled and went back in the school

Kaiden turned behind and came to me. despite being at a distance,with my spying I heard what they said.

"Is everything okay?" I asked

"Yes,don't worry about her.Lets go!" He said and we headed for his bike.

We went to the treehouse and got in.It was tidy as we left it but this time had two small buckets icecream,much to my joy.We laid down on the pillows and dug in.

"Oh I told my family about you.they are okay with it" I said

"Really? So I can come in this time? Ask you to dates? Check up on you?" He teasingly asked

"Yes" I replied faking a giggle "and what about your family,Kaiden? I already know Kira hates me,but what about your relatives? I don't even know where you live!?" I questioned as the expression on his face stiffened.

"Our parents are dead and We don't have guardians" he firmly said "we have a sort of extended family,who are-"

"Not people-persons" I guessed

"Not aware of my relationship.They are not very keen on the idea.but once that's settled,I'll introduce you to them,Is that okay?" He asked as I stared into his eyes and nodded with a smile.

"Have some,it's melting!" I said changing the subject and he nodded

After finishing with that,we laid down on the pillows and I laid on his chest.

"You appear to be genuinely honest,I can't detect an ounce of lie.but the guilt is all over your face,what is it that makes you feel guilty? The murder? Why did it have to be you out all people? Why did our fate cross paths?" I questioned myself when suddenly his right arm stretched out,and wrapt me into his embrace.

"You have no idea who I really am,and when you do,you'll probably dash in fear. I knew what I was getting myself into the moment I opened up to you,but I couldn't resist.It is rare for a werewolf and a human,but yet I don't want to let you go Aliyah.I want you all to myself" Kaiden said in his mind

Without warning,she got away from my embrace and climbed onto me,crossing her hands on my chest,she was laying on top of me.her emerald green eyes staring right at me as a devilish smile appeared on her face.

"So Mr Scott,you don't allow for anyone else to touch me" she teased biting her bottom lip

"Fuck!"He cursed "I told you never to do that" he demanded and I chuckled

"Or else what?" I dared and he immediately sat up startling me.

"Or else I won't be able to control myself" he whispered to my ear as he was just inches from me

"Then don't" I whispered back

And without second thought he kissed me,it wasn't slow and intimate no, it was passionate and filled with desire.A kiss that he appeared to have been longing for a while,throughout the entire day he hadn't kissed me like that.his warm hands penetrated my bare back raising the jersey,as a shock of waves travelled my entire body.He looked into my eyes as though waiting for a confirmation, then raised the shirt over my neck and out of my body.Our lips were once again drawn back to one another,as I too effortlessly removed his shirt.Both shirtless,his kisses descended onto my neck and shoulders.tossing me onto the pillows,he was now above me and in full control.he kissed my abdomen repeatedly then returned to face me,still in a daze.

"It's not the right place or time"he said panting and kissed me "you deserve better" he added then laid beside me.

I calmly caught my breathe and cooled down as my cheeks were burning red.

"Come here! You'll get cold" he said and once again embraced me to his warm body,and wrapped us in a blanket.

it was a cloudy day with no sight of the sun,as the trees waved to the wailing winds.We had loss track of time.he had caressed my scalp while fidgeting with my hair and I'd fallen asleep completely.I woke up to his alarming voice over the phone.

"No! Nobody gets hurt and make sure everything goes as planned!" he ordered trying to maintain the sound of his voice as he hanged up.

"Kaiden"I called sleepily.

"Let me take you home,it's getting late" he said slightly agitated and I slowly got up.

"Why? Is something wrong?" I asked yawning.

"Just a family issue i have to handle " he said

he handed me the jersey to wear as he wore his as well,We got down from there and he drove me back home.

"You're not coming in?" I asked

"Another day princess,I really have to hurry" he replied

"Okay"

"Aliyah!" He called out taking my arm "take care" he said and kissed my cheek. I nodded with a smile and he rode off.

I went in and found the trio in the living room anticipating my return.Austin had already returned ,Jackson and Uncle Roy were busy on the computer.

"Anything new?" Uncle Roy asked

"Everything is going as planned,soon he will reveal his home to me.although her sister could be a hinderance,she doesn't like me at all" I said

"That doesn't matter! as long as Kaiden is on your side,he'll do as you say" Jackson said

"What happened?" I asked as I saw a change of expression on uncle Roy's face

"There was an attack in Bellevue,the locals say it was a bear,but our men have investigated and confirmed it to be werewolves"Uncle Roy said

"Kaiden was also in a call just now and said something about making sure the plan was a success" I added

"If that's the case,then his pack must be very large to reach such distances" Austin said

"That doesn't change anything,what matters is he pays!" Jackson said coldly

"Where were you?" He suddenly asked inspecting me with his eyes

"with Kaiden" I replied

"Where ?!" He asked standing up

"What does it matter?!" I asked back and I noticed him looking at my neck

"Getting him to fall for you is one thing,but you don't have to-"

"We haven't done anything!" I stated in rage and went upstairs to my room. looking at the mirror,I noticed the slight hickey on my neck and cursed.

I went to have a shower,and tears came flowing down my cheeks as the rain left the clouds,and the storm could be heard from outside.

"Ohh mom,I wish you were here.you would have known what to do,I'm so confused! why did you have to leave that night?!" I cursed and continued sobbing.

After my long bath,I wore a sweater, leggings and knee long socks.with my hair tied up,I placed the headphones on my ears and listened to some music til I fell asleep.

I was so deep in sleep that I hadn't noticed the knocks on the glass door.having no other alternative,he passed through my window,managing not to be spotted by the guards.Just as he was in,a knock came from the door and he went on to peek and saw Ana,carrying a tray of food.

"Hi" he whispered opening the door slightly and Ana gasped in shock then smiled.

"Here's some food for the Miss" she said handing it over

"I'll give it to her.Is she okay?" He asked whispering as he received the food.

"Not that I know of.But I did hear yelling in the living room" she said

"I see.don't worry I'll take care of her" he said "you're Ana right?" He asked

"Yes?" She replied nervously

"Aliyah has told me about you." He said and she eased with a smile "Oh and Ana! You didn't see me" he said with a wink

"See who?" she teased along and left

He locked the door and placed the food on the bedside table and got in bed with her.Slowly turning over,she noticed the figure beside her and woke up startled.

"Hey hey relax,it's me" he said and she calmed down

"What are doing here?" She asked with her eyes barely open.

"I came to see you" he replied and held up the food tray to serve her "eat now"

"I'm not hungry" I replied coldly

He sat up,carried me onto his laps and made me face him,he looked at me for a while as I kept trying to avoid his stare.

"Why are you crying?" He asked

"It's nothing " I replied wiping my face clean "just touchy music"

"You know you can trust me,Aliyah.You can tell me anything " he insisted

"Jackson and I got into an argument, that's all" I said

"Why did you two argue?" He asked feeding me the food.

"He lied to me and I found out! I absolutely hate lies!" I replied "You would never lie to me,would you?" I asked gazing at him this time.

"Never" he replied calmly and I forced a smile
