Akari stood outside the shop and watched as one of the thugs flys out the front window of the dust store.
Akari thought about helping Ruby but decided against it.
' I can't forget my goal. While they are fighting I am just going to take a bit. '
Akari entered the dust store as soon as Ruby left following those thugs.
While Ruby fought the thugs outside of the dust store Akari took 10 capsules of dust and hide them in her pockets.
Akari went back to the front of the shop hearing Ruby.
"Will you be okay if I go after him?"
The old man only nodded and then went back inside while Ruby chased after Roman.
Akari on the other hand thought about selling the dust that she stole from the dust store back to them to get a bit of money since her system required it.
' Selling it is the best way to get lien I guess. '
"Hey old man I want to sell you these capsules of dust to you. What would you give me for it?"
The old man went behind the counter and grabbed one of the dust capsules.
"Hm I can give you 20 lien for each capsule that you have."
Akari handed all 10 capsules over and received a total of 200 lien.
' This is like stealing from an NPC and then selling them their own stuff. '
Akari then left the store and went down the street while putting her girstlien in her system.
' That was really easy. ' Akari thought while going down the street.
Meanwhile
Glynda just finished scolding Ruby when suddenly the old man of the dust store appeared.
"Miss Huntress after this girl left another person came into my store and sold me my own dust. I only realised after she was already gone that my own dust was in those capsules."
Ruby remembered seeing that girl with the white black outfit.
"You mean that girl with the white black outfit." Ruby asked to confirm her suspicion.
"Yes that girl was the one. She got 200 lien from me for my own dust. I'm sorry that I'm begging for help again but please bring my money back."
This time Glynda responded.
"Don't worry we will find that thief." Glynda then turned to Ruby.
"But first there is someone who wants to talk with you."
Akari POV
Akari already knew that the old man found out. How? Well it was pretty obvious since she didn't even remove the stickers from the capsules that indicate that they belong to that store. Akari wasn't worried yet though since Ruby still has to talk with Ozpin which gives her at least another hour. And even after that it is still unlikely that anyone will come after her today since they still need to make an exact profil to try and find Akari as well as notify Hunters to well hunt her. As such Akari predicted that she wouldn't have to deal with anyone trying to hunt her till the next day.
Akari looked back to see a giant pillar of smoke and a burning appartment building in the distance.
' Oh shit I forgot to put out the fire in the dumpster within the alley I first appeared in. Looks like it spread quiet fast. Would be really bad if a Faunus died. '
Akari continued to walk down the street until she saw another dust store. It was closed though since it was in the middle of the night.
' All attention of the hunters should be on the burning building right now and Ruby and Ozpin are probably still talking with each other. What a fantastic opertunity. '
Akari shoot with her silenced M16 at the lock of the door causing it to break. She opened the door and went inside towards the front counter. Akari opened the register with greed in her eyes and grabbed all lien and saved it in her system causing her balance to rise from 200 lien to 575 lien. Afterwards she took as many capsules full of dust as she could fit inside her pockets which amounted to 13 capsules. Akari removed all notes on the capsules that could indicate that she stole them.
' Another 375 lien and 13 capsules full of dust. I'm getting so much. It's sad that as soon as these two robberys get reported security will increase. Better I get the most out of this night. Hopefully I can find another dust store or even better an weapons shop. '
She found both a weapon store and a dust store right next to each other. While this dust store was empty as well there was a small light in the weapons shop indicating that someone is there.
' I will steal from the dust store first and afterwards enter the weapons shop. '
Akari again shoot the lock open using another bullet.
' 2 used 28 remaining. I really hope I find ammo inside the weapon shop. '
Akari frowned a bit hoping that 28 bullets will be enough.
Akari went to the register took all the lien which this time amounted to 235 and stored them within her system raising her balance up to 810 lien. Akari immeadiatly left the dust store not bothering with the dust since her pockets are already filled and no more will fit.
' Well the only thing remaining is the gun shop. ' With those last words she entered the gun shop and went to the room in the back which had the lights on.
Akari took her M16 in her hand and aimed towards the door while slowly opening it with one of her hands.
When the door opened completly she saw a man working at a table with a lot of papers and documents. The man notices that the door opened and looked up.
He first looked terrified seeing some unknown person aim a weapon at him but he quickly got himself together and grabbed a pistol with his left hand which was hidden from Akaris view.
But Akari sensed it thanks to her high perception and pulled the trigger ending the live of the man in a surprisingly brutal way. That was because she didn't fire one or two or three bullets. Akari fired all of them since she didn't notice that her M16 was on full auto. All 28 bullets turned the man into a bloody mess.
"Oh shit I think I'm going to throw up."
Akari quickly closed the door again to prevent her from throwing up.
' Okay lets get to the fun part. '
Akari went to the register and took all 132 lien and put them in her system raising her balance to 942 lien.
' Okay now the ammo. '
Akari wasted no time and searched for the right ammo that is needed for her weapon finding it on one of the shelves further in the back.
' Fuck I don't have any space in my pockets. If I want to take the ammo with me I have to abandon my dust. I need more space like a backpack. Exactly a backpack. '
Akari opened her system and searched for a backpack. She found one that had a black and white color sceme and was big enough for her without hindering her movement. It came at a price though... literally.
' 75 lien? That is a lot for me right now but otherwise I would have to abandon something so I really have no choice. '
Akari bought the backpack and got it out of her system.
' So lets see how much I can fit in this thing.
Hello,
after a while I am back and going to continue this and my other story.
I know that I'm a bit slow and I have no excuse for that but now I'm here so no need to worry. Now to the important things for this story.
I decided to set the price of a dust capsule to 20 lien. Why because it was never really defined how much a dust capsule is worth. And I thought the normal dust could be worth around 20 lien. Better dust will cost more though.
