Knife

"Rose, what the F was that?" Ash slammed the door of the empty classroom as she entered just a few minutes after Rose.

"No, you tell me what the hell is THIS?" Rose countered the question on Ash herself.

" What...? Huh... What do you want to know? Huh... Why am I here?!? I am literally so damn mad at you right now. YOU were thinking of betraying me?"

"I am also a person with my own mind. I am not your damn puppet!" Rose yelled.

Ash pulled out the KNIFE from under her skirt strapped with her thigh.

She cornered Rose, and with her elbow controlling Rose's neck, she pointed the knife straight at her neck.

"DON'T even think about raising your voice at me again." Ash said. Then she slightly loosened her elbow when suddenly Rose pushed her down on her back. She pinned her to the ground and took out her knife, which was located right where Ash's was.She pushed it slightly into Ash's throat, which started bleeding, and her other hand was strongly gripping Ash's neck.

"And that's what you called besties to enemies." Rose said with a seriously scary expression. Her eyes wide and eyebrows raised. A slight curve in her lips. Ash turned herself to a side, causing Rose, who was on her, to fall to the side, too. Just as Ash was about to take her hand to Rose's neck, Rose grabbed both her hands. Ash quickly shook them, releasing them from Rose's brutal grip. A line of blood was flowing from Ash's neck. She quickly stood up, brushed off the dust from her clothes, and pressed her small wound with the tip of her finger. Rose was just laying there looking at Ash. Ash put forth her hand, offering it to a Rose to help her get up. Rose held it tight as Ash pulled it back with full force helping Rose up.

"Where should we start with?" Ash asked Rose with a kind smile while adjusting the knife back in the strap.

"We both know we have our own identities that we want to keep from everyone, even each other. In order to protect mine, I risked it first, and then there was a choice: either protect yours or mine, so I did the obvious thing. I risked my identity, so shouldn't I be the one to use the chance to protect mine? Pretty obvious, " Rose replied.

"You have to keep yours too? Rose seriously, I didn't think that you, too, would have this type of identity." Ash said.

"It's better if we don't know each other nor, from now on, involve each other into this kind of stuff." Rose said.

"Look, I would have died for you, but you chose it." Ash said, warningly.

"I am losing everyone today. By the way, your turn now. Why were you here? How did you know I was changing the script?" Rose asked.

"It's part of my identity, which, according to you, would be better if stayed hidden." Ash said. She looked down at herself and walked out of the room, slamming the door shut so loud that it echoed, leaving Rose alone in the room by herself to think.

"She is such a bitchy bastard, but she is my best friend. It's just a best friend thing that we both had knife." Rose said to herself, trying to convince herself of this thing she herself knew was a huge lie.
