Orion Orgins!

I didn't want to be the bad guy…

I didn't want to do that…

But I had no other choice…

These were the words swirling through Orion's head as he was in his Limo, drove by as his butler as he returned to his residence.

Orion was quiet all the way there, despite being rich, his family isn't a highlight of his life.

After 20 Minutes of driving, he arrived to the door of his mansion, it was beautiful, many different fountains and statues to admire, although Orion was desensitized to it all.

Orion walked into his mansion, the different maids and butler's greeting him with a smile.

"The hope of the Orion Family" is what they call Orion but he really didn't buy it in the slightest.

Orion walked into his dad, Orion Seniors, office where he was facing away from his son looking at a window, the scenery was beautiful, it was absolutely perfect, exactly what Orion Sr always demands, perfection, if anything that wasn't perfect was in his presence, he would dispose it immediately, after all, who would stop him?

"I heard that there was a competition between you and that nasty commoner Rex, is this true?" Orion Sr said not looking at his song at all.

"Y-Yes…" Orion Jr whispered facing the ground.

"What is this a Church? Speak up boy!" Orion Sr said.

"Yes there was!" Orion Jr exclaimed.

Orion Sr looked behind his back, finally looking at his son.

"And did you win?" Orion Sr said finally intrigued.

Orion Jr was silent, no, he didn't win, but he knew what was gonna happen if he said he lost, so Orion Jr, had no choice.

"Yeah Dad! Totally!" Orion Jr said with a smile.

"Is that so?" Orion Sr said intrigued.

"Yeah! I won the exercise like you expect right? Perfectio-" Orion Jrs sentence was cut off as a blast of gravity sent him flying from the still open door of Orion Sr's office.

Orion Jr layed there barely even awake as a blunt pain was at his chest.

"I didn't raise a DAMN LIAR!" Orion Sr said grabbing his motionless son.

"Even after that training, even after going to this school you're still weak! HOW ARE YOU GOING TO BE NUMBER 1 LIKE THIS!?" Orion Sr yelled as all the maids looked in fear.

Orion could only think, how, how did it get like this, Orion thought, all the way to the beginning, when his mom was alive.

Let's rewind, further and further back, all the way to Elementary School, it was the first day for the small blonde haired, newly five Orion as he put on his backpack and left the house. Although he wasn't alone, his mom was with him, holding his hand every step of the way. During this time life was perfect, his mom was a extremely sweet and patient woman and obviously the wife of Orion Senior, who during this time wasn't horrible like he is now, although him being hard on Orion once in awhile never changed.

Orion walked into his new kindergarten class, everyone not really knowing how to use their newly developing powers and running wild.

Orion had powers of his own but he was instructed by his parents to not use his powers unless it absolutely necessary.

Orion was a little shy looking at the other kids as it felt like he didn't fit in, feeling a little down he went to sit at a empty desk but on his way he saw a familiar brown spikey haired kid sitting in the corner playing with Dinosaur toys.

Orion not having much else to do walked over and approached the boy.

"Um… Hi…" Orion said very shyly and looking down.

The kid looked behind his back pretty unamused.

"Hi I'm Rex, need anything?" The Spikey Haired Kid Rex said.

The two looked in silence as no one could find a real conversation starter.

"You like Heroes?" Rex said smiling.

"Uh not really, I mean, I see a few when my mommy walks me here…" Orion says.

"Aw really?" Rex said disappointed.

Both of the boys were silent for a bit but Rex gets up and smiles.

"When I grow up, I wanna be a hero and help people, that's what my dad does and he's the coolest in the universe!" Rex says.

"R-Really?" Orion said.

"Of course!" Rex said grabbing Orions arm.

"Come on let's go play!" Rex said running with Orion.

Orion was mesmerized by Rex's enthusiasm and determination, it was almost as if… he wanted to be a hero as well!

The two of them played all day, having the best time they've had since they were born, both Rex and Orion were officially, friends.

A few hours passed and school was officially over, Orion's Mother picked him up, as always with a bright smile on her face lighting up the room she appeared in.

Orion was grinning ear to ear talking about how he finally made a friend, how he was actually happy about Rex, how he wanted to be a hero.

Orion's Mom was a little taken aback but she stayed positive.

"I'm sure you'll be a great hero my baby boy." She said with a positive smile.

Orions eyes lit up, he not only made a friend but he had a dream, a motivation to make the people he likes proud, it gave him something to hold on to.

Orion and his mom finally arrived home to see all his Butlers and Maids greet him on his safe return as he ran straight to his dads office to tell him what he told his mom.

"So you wanna be a hero huh kid?" He got up and patted Orion Juniors head.

"Of course you are my son afterall, by the time you get older, you should be the strongest already!" Orion Senior said to his son.

Orion Jr didn't know what to as going on, but it's good that his dad is complementing him in some way.

Fast forward a couple years, about second grade, Rex and Orion are best friends now and nothing would change that.

Orion woke up on a sunny day as usual as his mom looked at him with a bright smile ready to take him to school.

Orion's mind was completely blank as he was nothing but happy, but overtime, that would completely fade.

During the recess period of school Orion was called to the office for early dismissal, which was strange, his parents were always sticklers for education, so them picking him up early was odd to him.

"Lucky…" Rex said.

"Uh yeah I guess, see ya Rex" Orion said nervously.

As Orion walked up to the front office, the sinking feeling of dread overcame him but he was positive he was gonna be okay.

The first thing Orion seen at the front office was his maid standing there, looking like she was ready to breakdown crying as despair covered her face.

"H-Hey… What's the matter?" A quiet Orion says.

Tears comes down the maids face as she bows her head.

"Young Master I'm sorry but, your mother, shes been killed!" She said to Orion.

Orion had no words, the person who cared about him the most and supported everything he did, is gone, he's never gonna see her again, never in his life.

"Mom…" Orion said as everything went blank.

It felt as if Orion wasn't in control of his own body as his maid drove him to the hospital where his dad was, nothing felt real, he was piloting a body that didn't feel like his.

After what felt like a eternity, he finally made it to the hospital with his dad and the doctor standing in the lobby of the hotel, Orion Senior trying his best to keep it together.

The Doctor seen Orion Jr and let out a sigh of sadness, not wanting to reveal what happened, but nevertheless it was job to do so.

"I apologize for you loss, it truly is tragic…" The Doctor said as he was looking down.

"While walking back to your estate, she was unfortunately caught in the middle of a high speed chase, she got ran over by the criminals car, unfortunately dying on impact" The Doctor explained.

Orion Senior was trying hard to break down and Orion Junior, he didn't feel anything still, all he felt at this moment was, rage. Pure Rage on criminals, his mom wanted him to be a hero, and this was his motivation to do it.

The next day, Orion didn't go to school, today was rainy, wet and grimy, it wasn't like yesterday in the slightest, nothing about today was positive in the slightest. As Orion and his dad got ready for the funeral service, Orion Junior really began to think deeply about what he truely wanted to do, becoming number 1 was what he wanted to do, but despite his mother dying being his main motivation, he couldn't find the energy, he was too empty, and nobody was there to lift him up.

The Funeral service was short, both Orion and his father were in black and white tuxedos as they looked down; one looking at their mother, and another looking at their wife, a overwhelming feeling of emotion surged through both of them, but they couldn't find the words for each other.

After both Orion's got home, Orion Junior didn't go to school for a week to grieve, but when he first got to school it didn't same like enough time.

Rex ran up to Orion.

"Yo Orion! I haven't seen you in awhile, how's it hanging!" Rex said with a smile.

Orion didn't say anything as he stared blankly looking down.

Rex looked at him with confusion.

"What's the matter buddy?" Rex said concerned.

"My mom… she… died." Orion said as tears swell up.

Rex stares at Orion not knowing what to say as he sees his friend is in a bad spot.

"Orion I'm- I'm sorry for your loss alright…" Rex says putting his hand on his shoulder.

Orion walks away sulking, ignoring everyone and everything, Classtime? Head down. Lunch? Head down. Even during recess, he sat in the corner on his own.

It was almost the end of the day and Rex seen the still sad Orion, motionless and not saying any. Rex, wanting his friend back bit his lip and walked up to Orion.

"Orion!" Rex said yelling at him.

Orion jolted up looking at Rex.

"Orion! Is this what you mom would've wanted? You sulking about her? She would want you to move forward!" Rex yelled.

Orion stared blankly.

"What are you talking about, you never met her…" Orion said.

"That's true, but even so, me and her had one thing in common, we want you to be NUMBER 1!" Rex yelled.

Orion's eyes filled with fire, the same determination where his mom told him he could be a hero he feels now.

Rex brings his hand to Orion.

"Stand proud Orion, Celebrate her, by being the best hero you can be, both of us will!" Rex said with a great big smile.

Orion looked at Rex and as he wipes his swelling tears, he grabs the hand of his best friend.

Orion stops daydreaming on the floor and comes to senses, normally when he got hit by his dads blast, he would be out for hours at a time, but not today.

"Number 1? Yeah that's my dream father dearest…" Orion said struggling to get up.

"But let's get one thing straight, I'm becoming number 1 for my friend, not you, and when I get there… the first thing I'm doing… IS KICKING YOUR ASS!" Orion said getting on his feet.

Orion Senior gave a sinister smile.

"So that's your goal? Fine then! But remember who you're talking to!" Orion Senior said sending another wave of gravity, this time putting Orion Junior down for the day.

Orion Junior was taken to his room, as he layed down he was thinking about all the things he said to Rex during their fight, he regretted all of it, but he didn't know how to tell him at all, afterall with what he said, no way Rex could ever forgive him. Before he could even gather the rest of his thoughts, his alarm went off.

Orion woke up, brushed his teeth, combed his hair, got dressed in the Blue and Red school uniform, then ate a light breakfast mostly consisting of either Avacado Toast or on other days, Oatmeal.

After he's done eating, his Butler takes him to the Superhuman Tech campus, a pretty easy routine.

While Orion walks to his classroom, he also sees Rex and Yui walking together.

"Man… I'm… So tired!" Rex said sticking his tounge out panting.

Yui smiles and looks at him

"How are you possibly so tired this early in the morning" Yui whispered to him.

"Oh yeah I used my water skates all the way here, that's my my shoes are wet!" Rex said turning back to normal like nothing happened.

"B-But why? Don't you just use the subway?" Yui said looking at Rex like he's a giant dumbass.

"Listen Yui! A true hero always hones their abilities, if I just used the subway everyday how am I gonna get better!?" Rex exclaimed.

"Yeah, I guess that makes sense" She said looking at him.

"Hey Rex isn't that Orion over there? Is he waiting for you?" Yui said pointing at him.

"I don't know, but what he said yesterday was a little cryptic…" Rex said.

Rex and Yui make it face to face with Orion and Rex immediately gets concerned.

"Orion!? What happened to your face!?" Rex exclaimed.

Due to the gravity pushes from his father yesterday, there was bruises and markings on his face.

"It's nothing, nothing at all…" Orion said smiling.

"That's nice, I'm glad you still care" Orion mumbled to himself.

"Uh what?" Rex said with a blank face.

"Nothing let's just go in class!" Orion said out loud to Rex and Yui as they all together walked into the door.

Roughouser wasn't there yet so all the students there made conversation.

Sabrina looked at all of them coming in and smiled.

"How's it going guy!" Sabrina said waving.

"Nothing much! Just a little Hungry" Rex said.

"You didn't eat breakfast either…" Yui said to Rex.

"Listen when you live in a bad neighborhood and not in the district zone, you kinda have to rush out the house, I'm not like Harrison okay!" Rex yelled.

"The fact that you're even in this school is a anomaly…" Harrison said coldly.

Rex took offense.

"Hey pal! This school at it's core is about strength and I'm incredibly strong!" Rex yelled.

"According to my personal data when it comes to overall ability, I would say you're the most unremarkable" M1cheal said out of his speaker.

"WHAT'D YOU SAY BUCKET OF BOLTS!" Rex said getting angry.

"I mean you did only get like two points in the practical and you got the lowest scores in the grade in the written exam, I don't think 'Strong' fits you!" Sabrina said laughing to herself.

Rex's hair spikes up to a blonde color and golden aura radiated around the class.

"I AM NOT WEAK!" Rex yelled for everyone to see.

Roughouser busted into the classroom, crushing Rex's body between the door as his hair went to normal and was knocked out.

"Hey Gang! How are you doing this morning!" Roughouser said with a smile.

Nobody responded but they did in their heads.

"Today I have a special treat! No academics today! All hero stuff!" Roughouser said.

Rex jolted up immediately.

"Really! Thanks Teach!" Rex said hugging Roughouser.

"Just proving my point that you're not very smart Rex!" Sabrina said.

"Shut up!" Rex yelled back.

"Anywho! Today for this special event! You and Support Course will be duking it out in the facility today! Not really a prize fight but just to see what you guys can do!" Roughouser said.

Owen raised his hand for a question.

"Sir wouldn't we be outnumbered, I seen support course before they have a bigger roster than us!" Owen said.

"That's what the support course teacher also said. But to hell with that!" Roughouser said.

"You guys are the best of the best, the future protectors of this world, a little extra people isn't a excuse to tuck tail and run!" Roughouser said looking at the serious faced students.

"Now the rules are this, Hero Course and Support Course are different teams, if you're deemed unable to continue, you're out, whoever team loses all their members wins got it!" Roughouser said.

The class once again didn't say anything but they understood completely.

"Alright then class let's go kick some ass!" Roughouser said get up and opening the door.

All the students got up and got their costumes.

"YES SIR!" The entire classroom said in unison.
