After finishing cleaning the entire residential area, night had already fallen. The goblins were preparing dinner, and Ranga was among them. "Ranga, come here," I called him.
"Yes, boss?"
"Aren't you hungry?"
"I'll eat with the goblins."
"Here, eat this." I bought two kilograms of beef and gave it to him. "You're going to stay with me in my house. The goblins will live in the residential district."
"Why can I stay here, and they can't?"
"Don't ask too many questions. Now, come with me."
We went inside the house, and I led him to my room. I had bought a large dog bed just for him. When Ranga saw his new bed, which was blue and had some rather flashy decorations, he stared at me.
"You want me to sleep in this? Are you kidding?"
"What? Are you going to refuse the bed I bought for you?"
"No, of course not! I'll gladly accept this bed. I'll sleep on it every day!"
"..." I couldn't help but chuckle. "You don't have to sleep here if you don't want to. You can use the couch." I bought two couches for the living room, a coffee table, and a TV.
Unfortunately, I don't have electricity, nor a TV signal.
'The main purpose of the TV is for video games.' Speaking of which, I bought a PlayStation 5 and some games. The only thing left is figuring out how to generate power.
And that's the hardest part.
"Boss, how did you get all these things so quickly?"
My room already had a large bed and a spacious wardrobe full of clothes—everything you need for a bedroom. It was much better than the one I had in my old world.
It doesn't even compare.
"One day, I'll explain it to you." I flopped onto the bed and checked the system.
[Points: 2,343]
Even after spending a lot of points, I still have over 2,000 left. I keep receiving donations and think I'll continue getting them for a while. 'Speaking of donations, I received some interesting comments.'
Some comments mentioned this world.
The one that caught my attention the most was:
[Isn't this the bar from the anime "Tensei Shitara Slime"? Is it some theme bar, or did you recreate it? I'm curious!]
This person probably came from the same world as I did. And that makes me nervous. Wouldn't my fans recognize me since I look the same?
Probably.
What would they think?
"Boss?"
"It's nothing, just thinking about the system."
"System?"
"Yes, yes. I was also thinking about my old job… Don't worry about it, it's no big deal."
"Got it. I'm going to bed. I'm exhausted."
"I'll go to sleep soon too."
Ranga left the room and went to the living room.
I got up and went to the bathroom. I had already filled the water tank, so I took a shower. Unfortunately, it was cold. I need to copy Rimuru and make hot springs or something like that.
A hot bath is so good.
After putting on clean clothes, I lay down again.
Mmm, this is so good ~~
Where did you get this meat? ~~
It was Mark who gave it to us ~~
"So noisy..."
I ignored the goblins outside and looked at the system's skill store. I had used the global store to buy things from my old world but hadn't explored the skill store yet.
The skill store was simple.
When I opened it, the first thing that appeared was stats potions. The system sold potions that could increase my strength, agility, endurance, and magic.
A potion that increases strength by 10 costs 100 points.
A potion that increases agility by 10 costs 100 points.
A potion that increases endurance by 10 costs 100 points.
A potion that increases magic by 10 costs 100 points.
They all have the same price.
Basic skills also cost 100 points each. Basic skills included "Magic Control," "Swordsmanship," and so on.
They were the typical beginner skills you would easily get when starting an RPG game. The skills got progressively more expensive as I scrolled through the full list of available skills.
There's every type of skill.
From everyday skills like "Cooking" and "Cleaning" to atomic skills like "Time Control" and "Immortality."
The latter cost millions of points.
"Wouldn't it be nice to buy a few skills? Like magic control and skills to use any type of weapon."
It doesn't make sense to have a half-dragon body and not be able to control magic. That's absurd. So far, I've only fought using animal forms. I need to get stronger.
Much stronger.
I can't just focus on building the city and ignore my training and evolution.
Rimuru only got to where he was through significant power growth over many chapters. If I get too focused on the city and ignore my strength, I'll end up dying before achieving any goal.
As soon as I attract the attention of a demon lord, I'm done for.
So, I spent some points to buy a few basic skills.

When I woke up the next morning, there was already noise outside. The goblins had started working. I got up, washed my face, and went to the living room. Ranga was still lying on the couch.
I walked over and slapped him.
"Wake up, it's time to work. Don't think you're resting today."
"Huh? What?" Ranga woke up startled.
"It's time to work, let's go."
"What do you mean by that? How can I help you? I can't cut trees or carry them."
"Hmmm… You're a dog, so why don't you start digging a hole? Dig a hole behind my house to make an artificial lake here. I want to raise fish."
"Are you really going to make me dig a hole?"
"Yes, I am. While you dig, I'll go check on the construction of the residential district."
"Alright..."
But before I left, I posted the second video to earn more points!
