A notification rang loudly in Jason's ear as the clear blue waves of Atlantis swirled around him.

"Octojelly stuff?" he thought to himself pensively. "But I already saw the notification."

Glancing toward the corner of his eye, he gasped loudly, and his expression paled within an instant.

"Corruption of Evelynn Alucard has been sped up by external factors, reaching a critical threshold of 20%. Target's actions will be influenced by resentment."

"Time until Full Corruption: 35 Days"

"What the hell is the mermaid princess doing up there?" he shouted at the top of his lungs as the sea's tides ebbed quietly beside him. "Wasn't she supposed to slow the effects of corruption, not speed them?"

He formed a separate neon green blob in his left hand and squeezed it repeatedly like a stress ball to calm his nerves.

"I swear on my mother that I will kill that otherworlder-obsessed bitch if she was the one who hurt my little sister."
