Some time later.

Grancel Landing Port.

With the sun cast over the city, the city was packed with people going about their activities and having lunches. As people were out and about, the latest airship had just landed, as a large ship could be seen slowly landing vertically toward the closest exit in the Port.

"Ding. We have successfully landed in Grancel City, the terminus for today. It is now 1PM. Please be careful as you depart and make sure you secure your luggage. I repeat...", An intercom's voice rang out as many passengers began to move around on the aircraft, getting their belongings ready while a metal bridge extended outward. Once it connected, its passengers began to deboard one after another.

In particular, once it was their turn, two figures could be seen leaving the aircraft. One appeared quite small with the other having an appearance of an aged woman. Once the two started moving, excitement appeared in the small figure's eyes. The goggles they were wearing over their head shifted about as the small figure ran toward one of the edges. In the distance, this figure saw a large white castle.

"Hurry up, Mom! You can already see Grancel Castle in the distance!", The small figure said.

Hearing that, the aged woman smiled as she approached the smaller figure after catching up to them.

"Haha, the castle isn't going anywhere you know. Still, I know that look when you see it.

You're already getting an itch to tear it apart, huh?', The aged woman said, revealing a smile.

"Yeah! Ever since you got an invitation to Grancel Castle mom, I wanted to check it out myself.

It really is an amazing building.", The smaller figure said, only to turn around again and look

at the hanging castle in the distance that sat over the largest lake in Liberl.

"Right? You were too young then so this is your first visit. It's a shame Papa is too busy with his work on the ship to come today. Whatever, it's his loss.", The aged woman said, only to look at the small figure, which caused them to halt.

"You're the one who pushed that work onto Grandpa though, mom.", The small figure retorted.

"Weren't you working on a top secret project?", The small figure pondered.

"Hahaha, don't sweat the small stuff, Tita. You were wanting to see what the capital looked like, and now, here we are. Mommy does have actual business to attend to here though, as you said earlier. I can't believe that old bastard reached out to me after all these years.", The aged woman answered.

Hearing that, the small figure who the aged woman called Tita pouted.

"Remember no cursing, right mom?", The girl called Tita retorted back as she pouted.

"Right right. You're such a little helper, Tita.", The aged woman said as the woman ruffled the figure's hair a bit, only to start screaming on the inside seeing how cute the figure in front of her was behaving. As the two conversed a bit, most of the people who left the aircraft have scattered in the airport, making it less crowded now. Seeing there was more freedom to move around, the aged woman looked around a bit before spotting the area they were supposed to head to, before she spoke out to the girl named Tita.

"Come now, Tita. Stay in front and close to me, okay? This isn't like back in Zeiss. There's a lot more people here. It's very easy to get lost.", The aged woman said in a serious tone. Seeing the seriousness, the smaller figure knew that her mother was being serious.

Well it was the capital of Liberl. The smaller figure knew the capital housed many more people than their home back in Zeiss, which was Liberl's nexus for engineers. Knowing this, the smaller figure reached their hand out and decided to hold onto their mom's hand to ensure they wouldn't get lost.

"Okay, mom. Our destination is the castle, right? Something about doing maintenance on an orbment?", The smaller figure asked as excitement appeared in their eyes.

"That's right, my dear Tita. I also need to make sure these blueprints arrive safely as well. Without them I won't be able to do it. Be a dear and hold onto this okay, Tita?", The aged woman said, only to pill out a metal stick of sorts. This appeared very similar to an old flash drive, because that's exactly what it was. Its sole purpose was for the storage and extraction of data, nothing more, nothing less. Seeing the aged woman pull out this small metal stick from her bosom, excitement appeared in the smaller figure's eyes again.

"Okay!", Tita replied happily, only to take the metal stick with her spare hand, safely storing it in her clothes.

"Now , let's head to the castle. His Highness is an extremely busy person, so we can't hold up his schedule for too long.", The aged woman said as the two began to walk.

Yet the moment the aged woman dropped that, Tita started to walk in a daze, not expecting that her mother's appointment today was scheduled with Liberl's Crown Prince...

Tita couldn't find words as the two made their way toward the north block, all the while the aged woman making comments about Tita's cuteness from her current behavior.

However, this certain mother-daughter pair arriving in Grancel City weren't the only persons of interest that were out and about today with an agenda to take care of.

It was bustling in the south block, as the south block was where most of the recreation activities were held, on top of many restaurants available for one to dine at. Further toward the south was the Bracer Guild and the south gate. The south gate is where most visitors came in after going through a check to ensure their safety.

However, two figures could be seen going past the line of people, and for a reason. Those who were able to spot one of these two figures could only blink their eyes. One seemed to be a middle aged man, sporting brown hair and a short brown mustache over his lips. A pole-staff could be seen equipped over his back. The second figure next to him seemed to be younger, around twenty-one years old. But he stood out quite a big as he had fiery red hair, coupled with a large sword over his back. But the people in line didn't question these two, as they could see the Bracer Guild emblem on their outfit. In fact, they let out sighs of relief seeing the members

of the Bracer Guild out and about.

Still, the moment the guards saw them, they could only give the brown haired man a quick salute before the two entered Grancel.

"First time in the big city, ain't it, Agate?", The aged man said, looking toward the red haired man.

"Sure is. Been wanting to see what the fuss was all about and take Mischa here, but Mischa said to go without her. She's still holed up in Ruan. But with them, I can rest easy as I do work here for the time being." The red haired boy named Agate said, feeling confident.

"Haha, it wasn't all that bad now, was it? You've been rising pretty quickly clearing requests one after another. You're already a senior Bracer now. All you needed was a little push.", The aged man said.

"Yeah, yeah, do something for the betterment of the body, or whatever they call it. I can't stay moping around forever.", Agate responded.

Hearing that, the aged man stopped walking for a bit along the south block, only to turn and look at Agate.

"Are you sure you don't want a proper instructor for that sword of yours? All it takes is one word. Even I could take you in.", The aged man asked Agate. Agate only shook his head, denying his request.

"Nah. I only trust my gut when it comes to combat. Been that way ever since I formed the Raven group. I don't want to stop what I've started.", Agate answered.

"Fine. Your loss. I doubt any bright mind would reject an offer from an S-Ranked Bracer.", The aged man retorted, which caused Agate to scoff at the aged man.

"Hmph. I like doin' my own thing. Get me? Training is the last thing I need.", Agate responded. "Don't matter if you're an S-Rank or not.", Agate continued to say.

"Hahaha.", The aged man responded, letting out a laugh. "Well, I brought you to Grancel to continue your work, so that's what you'll do then. I can get you situated with Elnan pretty quickly.", The aged man continued to say. After saying that, Agate simply nodded his head. The

two could already see the Bracer Guild in the distance.

It only took them a few moments to reach the building. Upon seeing it, Agate had a good look at it.

"Here we are.", The aged man said.

"Looks simple enough. Just bigger. I'm surprised you're not running it, Cassius.", Agate said.

"What can I say, I don't like doing menial work. Elnan is great at what he does, I don't want to disturb that motion. I also have a family back home, so it's hard to stay in the Bracer Guild all day.", The man named Cassius answered Agate.

"Hmm, you did say you had a daughter and a son. Didn't you say they were also here?", Agate wondered.

"They should be. With any luck we'll come across them--?", Cassius started to say, only to open the door, allowing the two to enter. The moment the two entered, their attention was immediately drawn toward a group of people off on the first floor, happily chatting away with each other. Seeing the door open, these figures immediately shifted their eyes toward Cassius and Agate.

On the left side of the table sat Estelle, Joshua, and Scherazard. On the right side was Zin, Kilika and a lilac haired girl who appeared to be no more than nine or ten years old. Despite such a young age, she had already developed muscles on her body, and was wearing a similar gi to Zin.

Estelle's eyes beamed seeing Cassius arrive and was curious about Agate who was with him.

"Daddy! You were in town after all.", Estelle happily said, approaching Cassius.

"Only for a brief time. It looks like you're still under Schera's care. I see some familiar faces too.", Cassius said, not expecting the crowd before him.

"Haha, we were also in for the moment. Sherryl here is mostly done with her training, so while Estelle and Joshua are still in the capital, I'd figure it'd be easy to kill two birds with one stone and take them out for some monster hunting. Still need Schera's supervision though, considering the two aren't Bracers yet.", Zin said, explaining the situation a bit.

"So that was the case.", Cassius said, only to look at Sherryl beside Zin. Sherryl was still quite small so the gap in height was rather big between the two. Despite such a disparity, Cassius could feel confidence coming from Sherryl, only for him to blink at him. "You were that winner of the previous martial arts tournament child division we last held, weren't you?", Cassius asked with interest as he saw Sherryl beside Zin.

"That's right. It's nice to meet you like this, Mister Cassius.", Sherryl said, introducing herself to Cassius. He smiled then looked back at Zin.

"Still, you really did take in a disciple, huh Zin?", Cassius asked with interest. "Seeing Sherryl here, does that mean you have an interest in becoming a Bracer too?", Cassius asked with interest.

Hearing that, Sherryl could only scratch her cheek.

"About that actually...", Sherryl began to say. "I wish I could, but I already have prior arrangements once this last round of training is done.", Sherryl reluctantly said. "But maybe If I have spare time, I may consider it.", Sherryl continued to say.

"It's as Sherryl said. Believe it or not, she works for the castle. Both Joshua and Estelle can attest to it.", Zin also said.

"That's right. But hopefully you'll have enough time to take a Bracer Test along with us in the next year or two, Sherryl.", Joshua said, nodding his head to confirm.

Hearing that, Agate could only blink as he watched this conversation happen.

"A small brat like you works in the castle?", Agate retorted. "You know, I've been getting this weird feeling since I came in here. You're more than you look.", Agate suddenly said, which drew everyone's eyes to him. Zin couldn't help laugh hearing that.

"Haha, I'd cool it down if I were you Agate. Sherryl's pushed me back more than once in our sparring.", Zin said. Hearing that, Agate blinked his eyes.

"You shittin' me?", Agate retorted.

"Would you like to try it, mister senior bracer?", Sherryl suggested, revealing a playful grin. Hearing that, Schera let out a giggle.

"Hehe, now no fighting is allowed in the building, you all should know that. Still, been a while since I've seen you, Agate. You look well. This is Estelle and Joshua by the way. They've been with me for a while in the capital. They are set to return to Rolent soon though.", Schera said, welcoming them.

"That so? I'll be here for a while, but it looks like things are already busy here. It'll be good to pass some time.", Agate responded after he was welcoming.

"I couldn't help but see you're here too, Kilika. You don't drop around for no reason.", Cassius asked, seeing Kilika remain silent.

"That's actually what we were just going over before you two arrived, Cassius, Agate. Seems Kilika's been promoted to manager for Zeiss's guild branch.", Zin said, bringing surprise to those who hadn't heard it yet...
