2 Danny Dorne

(3 days before the moon of the Witch Hunt...)

"Shitty school! Wait till I start to make some money! I don't get why, we even have this!" Danny thought to himself as he looked at the unfinished homework.

The teacher was checking their books. Half the class never really did any of their homework. "Insolent little fools!" yelled out the teacher as he gifted everyone with detention.

"What the hell does these people want from us!" screamed Danny inside his head. The teacher came to check Danny's line. Every single student in his line, except a girl, hasn't finished their work.

The old Mr. Ronald had the face of disgrace towards the students. "I'm ashamed of you fools!!" yelled the old grunt as the students opened their books.

Mr. Ronald was a short guy with the face of an old brute. He was wearing his usual long sleeved shirt and long black pants. There was no fun in his face. Neither is happiness. Just a sad old brute.

Danny's desk was in the 3rd place and he opened his book to show the empty pages. "Detention!" yelled out Mr. Ronald to Danny's face.

Danny sighed. "Die alone old man!" he complimented the old brute in his mind. "Fucking Hell!"

TREEING!!

The period ended as the bell rang. The students who were in the corner line were saved by the bell. "Lucky bastards!", said Danny, being immensely jealous of them.

All the students got off their seats and packed their bags. They were looking forward to 2 hours of sitting, doing absolutely nothing. The class consisted of about 25 students and 90% of the population was in detention.

The group of students went to the detention room and sat down in their chairs. A young teacher was sitting on the front desk. When all the students in Danny's class sat down, there were only 3 or 4 more chairs left.

"AHHH, here comes the weirdos!" said the young teacher, laying back in his chair. The man was wearing his coat. He was fair, blonde haired and he was a handsome middle aged man.

"What type of essay did Mr. Ronald ask you to write about?" asked the teacher. "About the economic downfall! Mr.Edward," said the girl who was popular for being the rank 1 in every exam they wrote.

"Oops! No wonder you people didn't write that! Huahhaaha!" cackled Mr. Eddie laughing at the students. They're country always had an economic downfall compared to the other countries in the world.

Danny and the rest of the students sat there, some sketched, some drew comics of Mr. Ronald, some flirted with their girls and some just sat there silently without a worry of the world.

All of them were prohibited from using mobiles inside the detention room. Mr. Edward took a look around. "God! When will these weirdos learn!" said Mr. Edward, covering his mouth not to give another chuckle out loud.

Danny looked at the man annoyingly. "Little piece of shit!" screamed Danny at the teacher in his own mind. He can feel his phone vibrating over and over again. Then he started to make his hair a little more neat.

Danny was a fair skinned, dark haired boy, who was a little frail. His hair was wild, but he managed to straighten it up by applying some handwork.

But since he was prohibited, he couldn't even touch the phone. Danny looked at his reflection from the glass of the closed window.

"Who the fuck is calling! Maybe it's the girl I met at the walk yesterday!" thought Danny as the hours flew by.

The clock hit 3pm. Most of the students were sleeping at their desks. "Okay guys and gals! Move your friggin asses! I've granted your freedom!" yelled out Mr. Edward to the class.

The whole class stood up, got their bags and quickly moved out. After a whole hour, they were finally ready to go home. The hallways were empty, only some teachers were roaming around. Two kids were sitting down beside the door to the room of the principal.

"Poor souls," Danny thought as he looked at the faces of the two kids. As Danny exited the school building, he got his phone and started to go through his missed calls.

[ 6 missed calls from Linda ]

"Oh shit! What does she want!" yelled Danny. Linda was his ex. "What's wrong with today!" thought Danny as he looked suspiciously at the blank space in the road.

He called Linda back. "Hello?" Danny spoke as Linda picked up. "What do you want Linda?" asked Danny.

"I need help! There's something crawling back in the woods! I need you Danny! Come help us!" yelled out Linda through the phone.

Her voice was even louder than usual. "Calm down woman! Where are you at now!" said Danny trying to calm her. "I'm at the watchtower where the guard is Danny! He's missing! Something's crawling down here! I'm scared!!!" yelled out the girl.

Danny was surprised. The guard was missing. "That old man never got off that tower!" said Danny to himself. "Wait I'll be right there!!" said Danny through the phone and hung up.

His house was not very far from the school. He started to run as fast as he could, through the neighborhood of Parker's Lane. About 10 minutes later, he reached his house.

He lived with his aunt. After his mom separated and his dad died, he was left to his aunt, who didn't give a damn about the boy.

Danny quickly rushed into the house, opening the door. He hurried upstairs to find his baseball bat. Running through the corridor, he rushed into his room and quickly emptied his bag of books onto his bed.

He quickly fetched the baseball bat which was in his cupboard and put it into his bag. Then he rushed downstairs again. "Where are you running, child!" yelled out his aunt.

"Need to help a friend!" yelled out Danny as he rushed into the kitchen. His aunt was cooking lunch. He quickly grabbed the machete lying on the kitchen slab and rushed outside.

"What! If you get into trouble you must leave this house young man!!" yelled out his aunt. "Meh! I'll leave here anyway you old hag!" thought Danny as he rushed outside.

The tower Linda was talking about was the tower that stopped speeding cars from the entrance to "Mandorin". Beside the main road was the two widely spread woods, that the kids in Mandorin always goes to play in.

Danny quickly got his phone from his pocket and rang Linda again. She picked up in an instant. "What's happening Linda??" asked Danny trying to catch his breath.

"I can hear it down there Danny! Please come quickly!" begged Linda, who has now descended to tears. "I'm coming Linda! Don't worry! Hang in there!" said Danny as he ran more and more through the streets. The forest was a little far from the neighborhood.

Suddenly a tow truck came passing through the neighborhood. "Mister! Can you drop me off the woods please! I'm in a hurry!" asked Danny from the old man sitting in the tow truck.

"Sure kid! 2 dollars though! Haha! Get in!" said the old man making himself a deal. Danny quickly went to the other side and got on from the right seat.

The man started to drive. The man looked at Danny through the back mirror, he could say that Danny was startled from the way he looked. But the man kept silent.

4 or 5 minutes later, the old man dropped Danny off near the tower. "Thanks mister! A big help!" said Danny as he gave a 5 dollar bill to the old man.

"Thanks kid! Be careful!" said the man and drove away . The watch tower was right in front of the sign that said "Welcome to Mandorin".

Danny quickly ran to the tower. But there wasn't anything around there. The tall trees filled the woods behind. "Linda!" called out Danny to the girl.

The girl stood up quickly, peeking her head from leaning against the wall of the wooden watch tower. "DANNY!!!! IT'S BEHIND YOU!!" yelled out the girl, with fear filled in her eyes.

"AHHHH '' yelled Danny spinning around with the baseball bat, as he backed up to the ladder of the wooden tower. "Run Danny!!"

Startled, Danny rushed up the ladder and got into the tower. Linda quickly dragged him inside, grabbing him by his arm. "There's nothing there!" said Danny, but he was still in fear. The girl mustn't be imagining things. She was healthy the last time he saw her.

"Can't you see it!! It tried to kill me!!" yelled out the girl. The pretty girl was in tears, covering up her glasses even. Her blonde wavy hair looked like a mess and her clothes were patched with mud. It looked like someone had tried to hurt her.

Danny had no clue what to do now. He quickly reached for his bag and grabbed the machete and the baseball bat he was carrying. He threw the baseball bat to the girl.

"No way to escape then! Let's beat this piece of shit to the death!" said Danny who suddenly became brave. Danny got up and took a look at the bottom again.

AGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
