She said, "I am so scared, I don't even know if I should return home. I don't know what will happen or how they will feel about having me back. I am…confused." She buried her face in her palms, exhausted.
Aurora stared at her. She gave her gentle pats on the back, wanting to comfort her. "Avelina, can I ask you a question?"
Avelina nodded without raising her head.
"Would you rather stay with Draven or go back to your family? Who would you be happier with?" Aurora questioned, her expression serious.
