Sigh..
Anyway, What I'm genuinely curious about, is how she is able to literally do all this while not even gaining exp.
I'll ask her later.

The one week of gathering skills has passed and it was time for us to head to the < Golden Desert >
I've been pretty okay since the past few days, dealing with the Hero stats and all.
Although, that fat cat really pisses me off so much. I can only do so much with my current strength.
If I recall correctly, this world has this plagia- I mean cliche mechanics, right?
About mortals being able to ascend to godhood? I guess that will be the second on my current to do list.
First would be getting my human body back while the third not only in my to do list but is also in my bucket list, Beat the living shit out of that celestial cat ass.
I hate the way I phrased it, but I mean it. Anyway, after the long week of gathering skills came to an end, we first decided to look for directions.
Naturally by we, I mean the hero girl. You know, being human and all. She went inside Saint Laurent town and asked for directions.
It took us (her) a whole three days just to get a specific direction, since people inside that place is garbage and all.
Apparently, there's a harbor of airships ( No idea what they look like, so I can only assume it is what is sounds like. ) in the Kingdom of Sylia.
This kingdom was near Saint Laurent, three days worth of carriage ride.
But of course, for me, all it takes would be just one day.
Aside from that, I figured out the whole mechanics of the glitchy skills.
Basically it allows me to take skills from others but it has a set condition. It has a success ration wherein depending on the power level and the level of the target itself, incredibly affects the skill steal.
Yeah, I named it skill steal for now.
Anyway, if the target is 50 levels below me, then the success rate would be 95-100%. 40 levels would be 80-90%. 30 Levels would be 60-70%. 20 Levels would be, 40-50%. 10 Levels would be, 10-30%.
While if the target is a level above me or slightly below me, the chance of success is less that 3%.
I figured this out during the skill gathering week. Also, wether the skill is successful or a failure, either way would make me collapse.
So there's that.
Oh! I also learned why it's difficult for monsters to have skills.
At first I thought it was the concept of the skills but that was the case for Humans. For us monsters, we evolve and gain skills.
Maybe because that my soul is human that I was able to get a skill from the waterfall arc. I'm not entirely sure yet.
Anyway, I used the skill stealer on many monsters in the forest, joining the skill gathering sessions myself.
And so I have collected half of the skills I need for the calming mind skill.
On another note, I still look the same even after using the Hero awakening skill so that's a good news. I really don't wanna end up having golden fur, since now I'll really look like a pokem*n.
Also, we decided to ignore the missing creepy delusional stalker and forgot he existed.
Anyway, out next destination was the Kingdom of Sylia.
The name's kind of familiar but it's probably just a coincidence- AS IF!
You think I'm the dumb beta and dense idiotic MC like in any other isekai fantasy story?!
That's a big with a capital Fuck no. Of course I remember. That's the kingdom of the princess we saved a few weeks back or was it two?
Not sure not does it matter.
Hmm.... maybe I should collect payment. No-no, I SHOULD collect payment.
After all, we saved her and some of her guard from being raped to death.
Although, as much as I don't wanna get involved with her or her royal issues, we're gonna need expenses on our travels.
Sigh... let's just hope for the best and be in and out of that place.
Besides, we heard that boarding airships costs a lot.
And there's no farming gold here other than fulfilling quests like adventurers.
But are we adventurers? no! we're heroes! We don't do garbage adventures, we do high class gucci adventures!
Anyway.... how do we get in there when I have this appearance? Judging from the normal people I've encountered before, I'm sure as heck that I'm no normal monster.
Also it's not like I can just barge in the castle with this appearance then ask for the money.
Hmmm... watch should I do?
Come to think of it, Kinoko used to have a big jello body. How did he get his small size back?
I'll ask him tomorrow.

Today was the day we were about to go to the Kingdom of Sylia.
We woke up early in the morning and prepared ourselves.
Another thing, turns out, heroes have this skill called ( Store ) in which we can store items in that skill.
Basically the inventory thing in video games. It was very helpful, especially for me, who carries a large bag.
Kinoko and Ruri got on my back as I prepared my skill.
'Anyone forget something? Going to the bathroom?'
"I'm good."
[ We're ready boss! ]
'Alrighty then.'
Here's to another arc in this shitty world, let's go! Cheers!
