The start of something beautiful

Cain being dragged back to class by Alice was the happiest he had ever been. He had always admired Alice from the story she was such a open person and lived life how she wanted despite the things that had happened in her past. She was such a bright person and got along quickly with others.

Cain was jealous of this quality and tried his best to be bright but failed to do so. He at best was able to shine dimly and only with animals. He really admired her for it coming to this world he wasn't really sure if he would be in a relationship with anyone. But his grandfather's response indicated that he had chosen a mate that would mark him and to his surprise it was Alice.

What Cain said about coming to Twilight for her was true though. He was planning to come here as a spectator and become friends with her. He wanted to feel her brightness for himself. Being a god their mate marking would have no effect on him because of his powers however the moment he had instead marked her himself.

Cain during his first moment seeing her is this world stunned him far more that he thought it would. Because his body marked her as his Goddess. By becoming the God of Fauna he became more animalistic in nature and one of the things that became a possibility was marking a mate against his will. He was scared because of it he didn't know how whoever he marked word act toward him.

Cain had indeed seen human relationships and he even liked their interactions. However being around animals and their relationship from a young age he felt more comfortable with them. He knew this wasn't normal so he was scared that his marking wouldn't like his interactions with them. But Alice being Alice shattered this thought with her actions seeming to enjoy the way he acted towards her.

Thinking up to here a smile came to his lips as he watched her. When they got to class got to class Cain talked to the teacher again and as luck had it he was beside her again. Sitting down and seeing her looking at him expectantly he proceeded to give her his tail again while chuckling. Seeing how happy she was he couldn't help saying. "I hope you plan to take responsibility for what you are doing." He said putting on a act like he had been defiled with his arms blocking his chest like a naked girl. Looking away shyly she said. "It's your fault you started it."

Cain couldn't help smiling seeing her reaction. This was new to him he has been seeing a completely new side of Alice not shown in all of the Twilight works on his previous world. Seeing her shy he said. "I guess you aren't wrong so I guess I'm the one that needs to take responsibility then." With a serious look on his face.

Alice looked at him stunned seeing him so serious all of a sudden. Cain really meant what he said. Coming to this world he had no expectations aside from being able to see the movies in first person and maybe mess up canon some for some new twists. However after spending such a short time with Alice he decided he was just going to enjoy every moment he could with her.

Looking in to his bright blue eyes felt lost like she finally found what she had been missing all her life and that no matter what happened he would be there for her. Still lost in his eyes she couldn't help mumbling. "I'd like that." As she leaned towards him almost like she him wanted him to embrace her. Cain seeing this leaned towards her as well neither of them breaking eye contact. As she drew closer Cain wrapped his tail around her waist almost as if to stop her from running away despite knowing she wouldn't.

At this moment they heard a voice. "This is great Cain you finally found your self a mate I can't wait to play with your little pups. I'm going to be the awesome uncle Twig." Completely throwing off their atmosphere Twig started jumping around on the desk like a excited mother asking for grandkids.

Having his moment ruined once again by Twigs impeccable timing he shot him a glare. But Twig didn't seem to mind as he was busy chatting up a storm about being a uncle without even noticing that nobody was listening to him. This earned a laugh out of Alice as she quickly pecked Cain on the cheek then went back to playing with his tail to shy to look him in the eye again.

Sighing Cain just went back to watching Alice silently. Their school day went by quickly after that till they got to the last class of the day. To Cain's surprise it was the famous science class from the story with Edward. As he and Alice entered class like they had been all day since first period and Cain went to talk to the teacher like normal. Cain could suddenly feel a very large amount of frustration from the back of the class looking at the source he saw Edward glaring flickering his gaze in between him Alice.

Cain couldn't help sneering at this because he had put a blockage on Alice's mind earlier and there was no way for him to possibly read Cain's mind and it was driving him up the wall like with Bella. It was all Cain could do to not bust out laughing while talking to the teacher.

Having finished introducing himself he sat beside Alice doing his normal process. Edward seemed to forget his frustration seeing Alice start playing with his tail instead becoming confused. Seeing this Cain couldn't help teasing. "Sorry Eddy know we are attractive but isn't she your sister and sorry I only have eyes for her." Causing Alice to chuckle and Eddy to glare at him again then huff and look away.

Cain continued to pick on Edward the rest of the class with the help of Twig much to his displeasure. Edward asked Alice what's going on but she just smiled and said they would talk later then went back to playing with her tail till the end of school ignoring Edward completely.
