POV Shawn Valon
Location: Sanctum Sanctorum
The Millennium Ring was glowing the outline of it showing under my shift and in my chest but before I could even move to touch it chains appeared from all corners of the room and sprang towards me like snakes.
But a golden force field surrounded me and I instantly went to draw a hand from my duel disk as it extends out.
"What the heck!" I yelled but I saw that Magik was also surprised at the sudden reaction.
Magik: "Why is...wait that glowing on your chest is that a dark artifact!?!" she asked looking at me like I was about to explode.
"Well sort of it has a few abilities and helps me use my magic without my other tools," I said still having my duel disk active but I was a little relaxed seeing her reaction.
???: "And would this artifact have a name?" a voice said and appearing out of nowhere was a man sitting in a chair drinking what looked like coffee and reading a newspaper.
Just as suddenly did I notice the man did I realize that the entire room I was now in what looked like a rich noblemen's study with an expensive carpet stuffed with animals and other various items there was even a large ornate fireplace that burned with blue fire.
Dr.Strange: "Oh but first let me introduce myself I am Dr Steven Strange The Sorcerer Supreme I'm sure you've already been introduced to my apprentice Illyana Rasputina or Magik as she likes to be called," he introduced the both of them and I nodded.
"Yeah it was a kind of introduction I think I'm going to have to get used to I'm Shawn Valon I was told I might be causing some kind of issue I didn't know about," I said and we shook hands.
Dr.Strange: "Yes these magical disturbances have been felt for some time now having been sensed by many who are connected to the mystic arts," he explained and I looked at him my eyes bulging out of my head.
"Wait so every time I would use my magic everyone who can use magic has been able to sense it?" I asked but Dr. Strange shook his head and scratched his beard.
Dr.Strange: "Those sufficiently connected to the mystic arts have been able to but when you use a massive amount of your power then even those with any magic would be able to sense your actions," he said and I nodded then froze.
"Wait but then how did you know I was the disturbance I haven't used my magic in any big way," I asked Magik who looked at me with a raised eyebrow.
Magik: "You summoned three monsters and one of them was a big mech pterodactyl and cast that anti-spell on me and that wasn't big for you?" she asked and I shook my head.
"Not really no those were simple to do heck none of them were even close to the strongest monster or magic I can summon," I said and I saw Magiks eyes widen and Dr.Strange glanced at me looking at me up and down.
Dr.Strange: "If you wouldn't mind could you show me how you summon these monsters of yours but nothing too big," he said still seated I nodded and after a moment I placed down a card on my duel disk.
And in a flash of light on the ground was a small blue crocodile that looked like it was made of jewels laid on the ground its big eyes looking around.

"Meet Animadorned Archosaur," I said trying not to laugh at Magiks reaction to the small crocodile as she got closer to the world to examine it while Dr.Strange only glanced at the summoned creature but looked up back at me and my duel disk.
Dr.Strange: "Remarkable your device can take your natural magical energies and use the energy with these cards to summon or cast spells," he said and I blinked at him and nodded.
*Grrrrr*
'Well he isn't called The Sorcerer Supreme for nothing,' I thought back at Red-Eyes who I felt had been watching ever since we had arrived at the Sorcerer Supreme's house.
Dr.Strange: "If you would summon something else but without using the device I wish to see where and what kind of energy is used to summon these creatures," he asked and I nodded.
I deactivated my duel disk which de summoned Animadorned Archosaur much to Magiks chagrin as she was petting the small crocodile as it disappeared and I drew on the power within me.
After a moment I let my emotion empower the magic and I called out in my mind for the monster to come by my side.
From my shadow flew out a small dragon with black scales and Red-eyes matching my own it flew around the room only to land on my shoulder and let out a tiny cry that I chuckled at and scratched under its chin.
"Next I would like you to meet Red-Eyes baby dragon," I said the small dragon let out chirps and purrs as it nuzzled into my hand and I got an Aww from Magik as she got closer to get a better look at the small dragon.

But then I noticed Dr.Strange giving me a funny look and absorbing me as if I was going to explode or something.
Dr.Strange: "How do you feel after summoning the creature?" he asked still watching me giving me a funny look.
"Pretty good just a little tired summoning and casting spells this way can tire me out quickly though so I usually use my due disk or my artifact," I said stopping the baby dragon from biting Magiks hand while she tried to pet him.
Dr.Strange: "Intriguing your ability to draw on the power of the dark part of the soul build by your emotion your able to summon monsters and cast spells," he said looking me over.
"Well yeah so am I the disturbance you guys are feeling?" I asked and he began to stroke his chin in thought.
Magik: "I felt you use your magic but anyone with any sense of the mystic arts could have felt that especially this when your this close to them," she said now with Red-Eyes baby dragon in her arms.
Dr.Strange: "We can confirm by doing a few more tests to see if it's you that is causing the ripples in magic," he said and stood, and with a snap of his fingers, we were in the middle of a field.
*Grrrrrr*
'Like I said he's not called The Sorcerer Supreme for nothing but do keep a lookout for anything suspicion ok,' I thought and I got a mental nod from Red-Eyes.
Dr.Strange: "Now then if you show us an example of you using your magic but this time give it some power behind it," he gestured to the open plain and I nodded.
I closed my eyes and imagined what I wanted to appear I felt the power within me callout but it wasn't enough then a new reservoir of power gave me the energy I needed and I knew The Millennium Ring had aided me.
I heard the shuffling of feet but I ignored everything outside of my mind, body, and soul and then within the darkness, I saw two eyes open and opened my own and smiled.
The clear blue sky suddenly turned black the soft breeze disappeared and I released my energy and my shadow became a spinning void of darkness under my feet.
"Come Dragon who fights off our darkest nightmares show us your glory and shine upon this world and let us gaze upon you like a night sky filled with stars that are the hops and dreams of the past, present, and a bright future. . ." I chanted.
The very sky disappeared and in its place was a beautiful view of the night thousands of stars could be seen.
". . .Come and be by my side Starry Night, Starry Dragon!!!" I chanted the darkness under me brightened and shooting out of it came a comet that soon showed itself to be a pure white feathered dragon in all its might and beautiful green eyes glowing with power.

"So how's that for..." I began to say but turned to see Dr. Strange squinting covering his eyes and Magik clutching her eyes and looking down at the ground, "Are you guys ok?" I asked.
Magik: "It's too bright it hurts..." she said clutch in Red-Eyes Baby Dragon who didn't seem to mind then a bubble appeared around her and I looked to see Dr. Strange holding out a glowing hand then he made his way over to me a smile in his face.
Dr. Strange: "Incredible...wait this means your not causing ripples in magic it's your summons that is using so much of it that it's causing ripples across the mystic realm," he said grabbing me by the shoulders and shaking me a huge smile on his face the whole time.
After a few minutes to calm down and for Dr. Strange to help Magik with her eyes we now sat in chairs made from thin air by Dr. Strange in the field under the stars night sky in the middle of the day Starry Night, Starry Dragon sat on the ground curled around me protectively emerald eyes glaring at the two others who sat in their chairs.
Dr.Strange: "Think of it like your monsters are empty cups of varying sizes depending on how powerful they are then think of magic as a body of water when you summon the creatures absorb the magic they need to create their physical bodies then when you de-summon them the magic left behind is released back into the body of water," he explained and I nodded.
"But I thought I was summoning them by using my soul's energy?" I said and Dr.Strange nodded.
Dr.Strange: "Your soul is like a telephone and you're making a long-distance call to your summoned creature and you pay for it with a certain amount of your soul's energy," he explained "But thanks to that thing on your wrist, and around your neck you only need to use a few fractions less energy than when you summon without it," he said and I nodded.
"Ok so that's how my magic works but his do I you know not broadcast it to the rest of the world," I asked Dr.Strange nodded and tossed something at me I caught it, and looked down to see a glowing crystal.
Dr.Strange: " That is a magic stone you can use those to help keep the dampen summoned monsters' effects on the mystic realm," he said as I turned over the crystal in my hand "But they are pretty rare to find and hard to make you need to...." he began to explain how to make the crystal but I opened the system and looked in the shop and found them.

I felt my eyes bulge out of my skull looking at the increasing price tag of the crystals the one in my hand was a large crystal so I could use it to summon small monsters multiple times, medium monsters two or three times, and one large monster once without using outside magic and possibly getting detected.
"Is there any other way?" I asked and Dr.Strange shrugged his shoulders.
Dr.Strange: "Sure just don't summon anything like that," he said pointing to Starry Dragon "And only summoning monsters like this guy," he said pointing a thumb at Red-Eyes baby dragon who chirped at him and I sighed but nodded my head.
"Thanks for the info but can you send me back to Xaviers I have a friend I need to pick up... Also is that going to be a problem?" I asked pointing up at the sky that still looked like a Starry night sky in the middle of the day but Dr.Strange waved off my concern.
Dr.Strange: "We're in a pocket dimension so no need to worry," he said as I de-summoned my monsters making the sky hi back to being a clear blue sky and I noticed Magik's subtle reaction to Red-Eyes Baby Dragon disappearing with a snap of his finger we were back in the fancy study.
I felt a warmth in my chest and looked down to see The Millennium Ring was glowing again Dr.Strange looked at me with a bit of curiosity but didn't say anything as I pulled the ring out from under my shirt.
The Millennium Ring glowed softly in my hand then one of the diamond points glowed white and pointed towards the fireplace and began pulling me following its pull I saw on the fireplace a variety of items.
A few shrunken heads and a jar of eyeballs that followed watched me I think one of them blinked at me a severed chicken foot and finally a small golden ball with an eye on it and a notification appeared as I picked it up.

Dr.Strange: "Ah yes before you go I do have some questions about that thing around your neck and now that small bobble in your hands," he said leaning back in his chair and I sighed and nodded.
