He Wasn't Sure Whether To Be Flattered Or Insulted

Everett was incredibly confused but he heard the water running and knew he didn't have much time before Lady Josephine returned. He needed to investigate this further before he said anything to her. He didn't want to admit that he had been looking at her phone without permission. 

He quickly took note of the name of the website and what she was reading before scrolling back to where she had been and putting her phone exactly where she left it. Hopefully, she wouldn't notice. 

And she didn't. She carried on the same way she always did when reading on her phone. 

Everett really didn't get it. Even if he put aside the fact that it made no sense that anyone here would even know about the Lamonts…how could she read about herself and her husband so calmly? Why would she bother in the first place? Curiosity? Because she missed him? And why hadn't she said anything to him about it?
