Outside his apartment in Gotham, Leonardo peeked through the walls and surrounding areas. For he found an unknown woman inside his apartment alongside various women and men packing some guns around. Which made him sigh as he studied the middle aged woman who was a bit chubby.
The woman appeared to be in her forties if not fifties with dark skin and an attitude of authority. Well if he judged how she was raking through his apartment like she owns the place. Not to mention how she seems to be looking for something, not that he had much in the apartment besides a few cold case files.
Then he noticed the rock she seemed to be carrying around her wrist. Shaking his head at the cautious woman and wondering where she learned such a thing. Leonardo knew he wouldn't be able to figure it out in a short moment, so he quickly formed a plan. In which he quickly knocked out the woman guards, before he popped open his own watch. Where a blue gem was revealed and his sense drastically dropped alongside his strength.
Since the woman clearly had green kryptonite, Leonardo didn't feel like the feeling of being boiled alive, he brought out a blue piece. Which nullifies the green but also his abilities on the downside. However, he should be fine since it didn't seem like most of those around were carrying high caliber guns so he should be fine even if he was shot a bit.
Then he pulled out his phone as well as a pair of handcuffs. Dialing the phone, he called Collins before asking him to send over a few police men. Since he had a group of trespassers and whoever organization this woman belongs to. They will know soon enough, even if it's the government, Leonardo didn't mind giving Clark a big story.
Walking into his apartment, Leonardo looked at the woman who playfully smiled at him. It was almost like she was looking at a new toy to torment. Though how long this look will last, Leonardo couldn't wait to find out. Since he didn't mind making a big splash.
"Leonardo Kent, the wonder cop." The woman said.
"Unknown trespasser. Please put your hands behind your back." Leonardo replied dryly as he read her her rights.
Clearly she didn't expect such a response since she seemed stunned. Which gave Leonardo an opportunity to reach her and pull her arms behind her as he began to handcuff her. Where she regained composer and looked at him angrily while glancing at the green stone on her wrist.
"What do you think you're doing?" She demanded. "I am Amanda Waller."
"Everything you say will and can be used in the court." Leonardo raised an eyebrow at her.
"Bah, this event won't ever make it to trial." Amanda snorted.
"So you admit you think you are above the law?" Leonardo smiled at her.
"I am a high ranking official of the U.S. Government. If you continue playing games with me, I will make your life difficult." Amanda growled.
"So you are allowed to trespass and snoop through others belonging at will?" Leonardo raised an eyebrow. "When did such laws come into effect? I don't see a search warrant either."
Soon a squad of police cars came and soon loaded Amanda Waller and her group into the backseat. Where various photos were taken by the media and journalists were motivated. Where the conversation of Amanda stating herself above the law was 'accidently' leaked.
So the next day a storm blew through various media from local tabloids to Daily Planet. The news was presented everywhere about a high official of the government being arrested on trespassing charges. Many didn't think it would stick but many got a laugh out of it while the many enemies of Amanda over the years gloated at her. Even her own children wanted to dig a hole and hide until this storm blew over.
"You do know she will strike back?" Aurora said over the phone.
"Meh, she can strike all she wants. It won't be too hard to find her dirty secrets and make not only her but many other officials a bit jumpy. So after a few rounds she should settle down or find herself out of a position." Leonardo replied off handed.
While he is no expert politician nor really strives to be one. He knows sometimes to deal with someone like Amanda, one didn't need money or patience but a big fist. After sending her off, Leonardo went and did some digging about her. She was basically a worse spy than Nick Fury from Marvel.
No doubt she wants to help her country, but most of the enemies she faces are the ones she made herself. She has no problems pulling criminals who massacre or kill a mass amount of others from prisons to do her dirty work. Right before allowing them to be free and cause more chaos after they complete her assignment.
'This is before superpowers really become public knowledge and the dawn of heroes across the globe.' Leonardo thought.
"I heard from some sources that she is already plotting and moving." Aurora sounded worried.
Leonardo was slightly curious about what Amanda was plotting against him. However, that was only a slight curiosity. If she really gets out of control, he just plans to throw her into the Phantom Zone to play with the real criminals. Maybe it would get her to straighten out about playing petty tricks.
"Well, let her come I guess." Leonardo replied calmly.
Then he took a step to the side as a bullet pierced his window. Which was followed by many more as his wall made swiss cheese look whole. Various men and women seemed to enter the top of the building across from his apartment and opened fire on it. One even brought out a rocket launcher.
"What happened?" Aurora asked worried upon hearing the noise.
"Children playing with toys they shouldn't." Leonardo replied jokily. "Problem is, I need a new apartment now."
"Are you ok? Do I need to come over." Aurora panic grew.
"Don't worry so much. I just have to take care of some business so I got to hang up. I will talk later." Leonardo said.
Hanging up the phone where a bullet shattered it not even a moment upon hanging up. Leonardo blinked as he calmly walked over to his dresser and pulled it away from the wall. Bullets poured in around him as he dodged them and pulled out a heavy machine gun with a long chain of bullets.
Due to his various enemies which many belong to big gangs in Gotham. For even if he brought down most of the big players, the remnants forces still had various weapons stashed away. So Commissioner Gordon gave him permission to pick a gun to help him hold them back if they came for him in revenge.
"Now this is a real toy." Leonardo smiled as he pulled the trigger.
Under his precise control, as his heavy machine gun shot round after round with the sound of a cannon. He shot the various men and women disabling them. After finishing this as he made sure he got each one, Leonardo sat his gun on the floor and looked around his destroyed apartment.
"Such a shame." Leonardo muttered as he walked across the street to borrow a phone.
--
A while later, while various police officers ran around capturing and taking statements trying to sort through the mess. Leonardo was leaning on one of the cruisers talking with Commissioner Gordon. Since this incident was a bit big and most of those not involved were frightened. Such scenes were rare even within Gotham.
"I want to know how you are unharmed. Ten out of ten people would die in such a rain of bullets. Yet you are still standing without a scratch." Gordon said neither of them knew if he was complaining or complementing about Leonardo luck.
"Skills and luck?" Leonardo shrugged.
"Well, at least you're fine." Gordon said.
"So, is there any clue who they are?" Leonardo asked.
"Quite a few have outfits from remnants of a few gangs you brought down, however some clues are also present saying otherwise. So there is no real way to tell at the moment." Gordon answered.
