2 Chapter Two

He heard the sound, but the stick didn't stop, it didn't even slow down in speed. Algron didn't care who it was, he just wanted to die. There was nothing left for him.

"I said wait!" The scream came once again, however he continued to stab and then finally reached his throat. "No!"

The stick touched his throat and pierced through just a first layer before snapping him half and breaking into small pieces. Opening up his reddened eyes, Algron stared at the broken stick which laid beside him in many pieces. His eyes showed disappointment and anger. "Even this fucken stick won't let me be in peace, and who the hell is screaming?!" Suddenly, his eyes showed a craze which never existed in the past. Before, Algron was a very calm person burdened by many responsibilities, but even then he rarely swore. Such an outburst was rare, plus the psychoticness in his eyes was something which never appeared before.

Getting up from the ground, he watched a small group approach him. His mouth kept twitching uncontrollably and his hands kept clenching and loosening continually. His teeth were gritting tightly and a large vein was popping on his forehead.

Soon the group finally reached him. They consisted of two girls and one boy. All three seemed to be of similar ages, around twenty or so. The two girls had long chocolate hair, while the boy had a somewhat grey color, short hair. One of the girls carried a bag on her back and had freckles on her face, while the other, who seemed much more cold, carried a thin blade on her tiny waist. The boy on the other hand was carrying a large ax on his shoulder, with his muscles bulging with every movement he made.

Algron wasn't intimidated at all. He walked over with his eyes glinting, which seemed eerie with his purple eyes. "Which one you three yelled out?" He looked at the three and spoke harshly. Walking over to the large man carrying the ax, he stared at him in extreme anger. "Was it you? Why don't you three get lost and mind your own fucking busniess! What I do to myself is my problem, it is none of your guys' fucking concern." Spitting his words without even letting any of the three explain, he walked away from the three.

"Is he crazy or something? What the hell did we do? Didn't we just try to save him?" The girl with the bag in her hand clenched her hands and glared in Algron direction. "He didn't even let us say one word before bashing at you, Eld."

"Calm down Sinan." The girl with the cold complexion and thin sword spoke out. "He may have been rude, but did you see his appearance? He was covered in wounds and blood. Plus, he is in the Grey Forest alone, do you think anyone like him would be sane?" She spoke calmly, seemingly unfettered by Algrons words.

"But still Tist, we can't just let him go like that? What about you Eld? He just spat in your face basically, don't you think you should say something?" She then looked at the man who continued to stare in Algrons direction.

He shook his head before squatting on the ground. He placed the ax down before gesturing the other two to sit down as well. The listened before sitting on the ground. "Listen carefully." The man lowered his tone and spoke in an almost hushed tone. "Have you guys heard about how the youngest son of the Letos family went missing a few weeks ago, right?"

"Who hasn't? The Letos clan is one of the biggest families in the northern continent, plus they are filled with extremely talented Gilias, so who wouldn't know such big news regarding that family?" The more she spoke the more her eyes showed an expression of envy. "If I remember correctly, the Letos family has three sons and four daughters. The youngest son is supposed to be the second youngest and also the most pampered of the sons. Wait, you don't mean…"

Eld nodded his head. "I think that this person might be that youngest son. You guys didn't see it, but he had the trademark look, purple eyes. Plus, his age meets the description, and even his looks are similar, the only problem is…"

"His mental state, right?" This time Tist spoke up. "I heard about this as well. The youngest son is supposed to be a very well mannered person, who was extremely calm in all situations. Unlike what we saw right now." She spoke up and Eld nodded his head

"Maybe we should take him with us? If he really is that youngest son, Algron, then we could get a very heft reward. Plus, we would get on the good side of this giant family." He spoke with a bit of anticipation appearing in his tone.

"If things go that way, then yes it would be great, but what if he isn't the youngest son? You know as well as I do that the Letos family didn't become so big with just money. They have power, and lots of it. They aren't cruel, but they are very sensitive when it comes to their two youngest kids. I heard that once a person brought a fake just for the reward, but was later beheaded in public." Tist spoke about her doubts and worries and Eld also nodded his head while listening. Sinan, on the other hand, was a little lost.

"Woah, guys, slow down a little. I heard of the family and all, but what's the situation. I only know the youngest son went missing, but nothing else. Give me the details." Out of the three, she was not only the youngest, but also the most immature.

"Let me explain." Eld began to go through all the information. "From what I know, the youngest son was going on a walk or something a week ago with his fiancee, but then he vanished. From what his fiancee said, he literally just vanished. She blinked and he was gone. It was a very eerie situation and she supposedly hid herself in her room ever since. The family went crazy after hearing about this and have been searching for weeks now. Algrons father and two older brothers went to even the Southern Continent and wreaked havoc, looking for him. Everything was and is still in chaos." He explained as his voice shivered a little.

Sinan's eyes widened as she quickly looked back at Algrons direction. "If that's the case, then grab him. We could get the rewards and everything. Even if there is a risk of him being a fake, we could just pin the blame on him or something, because he is the one with the purple eyes, acting like one of the Letos."

"It's not that simple. Even if we blame him for tricking us, do you think the Letos family will spare us? They aren't dimb, they know that we are only after the reward, so we will go down with him." Tist shook her head.

"Who cares? Just imagine, what if it is him? Like, we could get so much. The pros totally beat the cons. I say we do it. Eld?" She turned to look at Eld who was still hesitating.

"It's risky." He spoke out once again, but then nodded his head. "Greed is the worst enemy of a human, but this enemy also leads to many riches. Let's try. If things go bad, I will figure a way out." Sinan got up and began to cheer, while Tist still showed some hesitation.

"Eld, are you sure? This is very risky, we could very well die." Eld got up and patted her head.

"Listen, for folks like us, only by facing danger will we ever really thrive. The more dangerous something is, the better the rewards will be, and you know that the Letos family will not be stingy in their rewards." He smiled as he began to walk in the direction that Algron left in. "Come, we should catch up to him."
