A DEAL BETWEEN ALPHAS

Emily removed her cloak and sat at the table close to his bed. She plucked out a grape from the stem and put it in her mouth. “You have 60 seconds to tell me why you are here.” Tyler said. Emily took a deep breath, “I am here to make you a deal.” Emily said. “And what makes you think that I will make a deal with you?” he asked her. “Because I am what you are looking for.” She spoke. “You need someone stronger than you because you are weak. I can teach you how to be stronger.” Tyler thought about it and what she said was actually true. She was strong. One of the strongest she-wolves he has ever seen. Her pack was known as the strongest mainly because their ability to control their transformation. Unlike every other pack that have to change during the full moon, they can choose when to transform. He knows she can fix his problem without and false. But what is the grantee that she can be trusted. Emily is the kind that stabs people in the back. “Is that not why you want find a mate? Because you want the whispers to stop?” she asked him. “And what do you gain from all this?” Tyler asked her. The Emily he knows never makes a deal without something in return. “As you know, I am the only child of my father, the alpha of Cresent moon pack. and because I am a female. I can’t take over when my father is gone.” She says and takes a bit of an apple she picks up from the tray. “What does that have to do with me?” “Well, in one of our old book laws, I can ascend the throne if the man I marry hands over the throne to me.” “What are you saying?” Tyler said. Emily could see that he was running out of patience. She put down the half-eaten and dusts her hands. “Simple, I will train you and each you how to be stronger and in return you will mate with me and hand over the leadership of my pack to me.” Tyler laughed at her face. part of her told her that something like this will happen. He wasn’t the first though. Other alphas she approached did the same thing to her but this time she will get what she wants from him. He is her best option. “And what made you think that I would agree to such deal?” he asked her. “Because deep down you know I am the only one who can help you.” She told him with a smile on her face.

CHAPTER NINETEEN

Emily went back to Australia. She could think at that moment. She didn't know what to do. This new peace of information. She was stuck and scared. If she knew this was the depth of his hatred, she wouldn't have come up with this idea in the first place.

By the time they got back to Australia, it was already night fall. She wasn't ed to call Amelia but she didn't want to disturb her sleep. She was disturbed. She wanted to take a run but it was already late and she doesn't know the place well so she took a very cold shower. The water went own her body, soaking her black silky hair. The cold water calmed her down and she was able to think. After her bath, she just laid on her bed and slept off.

The next morning, Emily woke up and went for a run. It just helps her clear her head and picks up her sword for a little practice. She didn't want to have breakfast alone in the long table because it reminded her of Tyler so she has it in the room till she hears a knock on the door and Claire comes in.

"I told you I don't want to be disturbed." She says with a lazy tone.

"Not even by me?" someone says from behind the door. Emily recognizes the voice and looks to see who it is. Amelia came in and told Claire to leave. Emily ran to her and gave her a big hug and cried on her shoulder. She had been trying her best to be strong but when she saw Amelia, she couldn't hold it in anymore.

Amelia let her cry on her shoulder. She knows Emily, she pretends to be strong but she easily gets hurt. She hates showing her weakness to other people. As she cried, she told her everything that happened in country F and how Tyler hates her.

"I did warn you about this but you didn't listen." Amelia told her.

"How was I supposed to know that this would happen?" Emily said still sobbing.

Amelia didn't say anything more and allowed Emily to cry her heart.

"I think the situation is not really that bad."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean think about it. He hates you and you don't really like him and your marriage is not really the meant to-be type" Amelia said and rolled her eyes.

"What are you saying?"

"I am saying, why don't both of you come up with something like a truce. You apologize to him and you remind him and what he is going to gain from you." Amelia said.

Emily thought about it and she was making sense. Besides they were never in love in the first place and they only got married to help one another.

Amelia held Emily's chin and made her look at her. "Emily, I know you. You've got this. No one makes better plans than you." She said with a smile and a wink.

"Okay then I have to go. Your girl has a date." Amelia said and picked up her bag.

"A date?"

"Yes, a date. My father said it is time I find a mate and I have to do it as soon as possible."

Emily chuckled. Even though we are in a modernized age, the wolves are still very traditional.

Amelia had left and Emily was in the dining table alone. She had some time to thing. She looked at the opposite said of the table and saw the empty sit. She remembered what Amelia told her and she realized that she had to stop crying and get to work. After all, their marriage is only business.

"Claire." Emily called out

"Yes, my luna."

"When is Tyler coming back."

"I don't know my luna." Claire told her.

She took a deep breath still looking at the seat.

"Send out invitations. Your alpha is throwing a party to welcome is new luna. Invite all the elders and business partners of the pack. the party will take place in a week."

"Yes, my luna."

If this wouldn't make him come back, she doesn't know what will.
