A Cup of Tea: A Collection of Short Stories

It's not actually female leading. It's simply about couples. Sometimes stories will be from the male lead's side too. The setting is mostly urban for now. The POVs will always be changing between female lead and male lead. When POV changes, so will the paragrapgh. Where's My Book?

Locke lost his book. He felt very devastated. He had a test tomorrow. He could only go to the library now. Hopefully they would have a copy of it.

Keirin checked the books that were sent back by the students to the library. After checking once, she couldn't help but check again. There was one extra. She took out the receipt book and matched the books diligently. Just then, her desk was knocked and she looked up.

Locke saw the girl raise her head up. He knew her. She was from the class next door and worked part-time at the school's library. "Can I know where will I find the course books of 2nd year?"

Keirin glanced at the large bookshelves spanning the large library and worked her brain. "It's in that bookshelf. 2A, 100." She pointed out.

Locke went on. Once he found the book, he started reading right there. He felt the time slipping. Fortunately, he studied well. He only needed the book for a comprehensive review.

Keirin sent away the boy and started her work. After a few minutes, she confirmed the extra book. A 2nd year course book of history. She opened the first page. It was pure blank. No name. Just then, her phone's alarm rang. It was the closing time.

Locke was immersed in the book. Then he felt a tap at his shoulder. He turned and saw the part-time librarian. She pointed and his eyes followed towards the place. The clock. It was closing time.

Keirin headed back to the counter after she saw that the student started packing up. She turned the next page of the book. It was the title page and this time the page had a name. Locke, 2nd year, Department of History. She closed the book. She would send it later.

Locke knocked on the counter lightly. Holding the library's book, he asked, "Can I get this book?"

Keirin nodded. She took out the receipt book ready to fill in. "Name?"

"Locke." As soon as Locke spoke, he saw the part-time librarian looking at him with a strange expression.

Keirin felt fortunate she didn't write yet. The same name. The same book. It was quite evident that the student who lost his book was perhaps standing in front of her.

Locke then saw the part-time librarian stop and then she took out a book from the counter and gave that to him. After holding the book that was also a 2nd year history, he opened it under the encouraging eyes.

Keirin saw the student open the book and watched the vivid reaction. From being confused to stiff and then to blushing from embarassment. She found it cute.

Locke hurriedly thanked and then without borrowing the book from library, he left. It was quite embarrassing. It must be his friend who had to return a book to the library today.

Keirin smilingly put back the library's book, arranged the counter neatly and left after closing the library.

That night, a girl often smiled now and then as if thinking of something fun and a boy blushed now and then while reading his history book.

Recently very busy. I wanted to write an extra for this but I would do so later.

The next pair will be Rose × Sorrel... It would be uploaded next to next week 'probably'.
