A bored Gamer and his budding harem~! (Dropped)

A/N : You guys know all the copyright crap? Imagine it’s all here… . . . . . . Echo had always been mature for his age, apathetic and indifferent to almost everything in general, even his own life. There were few things that could hold the interest of the nineteen year old high school drop out, his family being one of them. But even towards them, he found himself barely capable of expressing his emotions. To the outside, he is a cold, aloof, perhaps even arrogant, and unfriendly introvert whose dead-black eyes makes one refrain from even wanting to talk to him. Echo had a secret, however. One that he had never told anyone, not even the woman he calls ‘Mom’ in his monotonous, almost emotionless voice or the rest of his ‘family’ despite holding great affection for them. He is, in fact, a reincarnator. ((You slept in bed. HP restored. MP restored. All abnormal statuses cleansed.)) And one fine morning, when he opened his eyes from a good night’s sleep, his ‘cheat’ arrived.

[Chapter:23][A good world.]

*growl!*

Echo looked at the 'creature' before him curiously.

A pound or so of flesh on its thigh was missing, exposing the thin bone, and making it form a pool of blood even as it walked towards him slowly, limping along the way.

It's hands, strangely, were extended forward, but he recalled their inability to see.

'Is this an instinctual action for being blind?'

If it was, it meant that even as their sanity was eroded, the creatures still retained some instincts and perhaps even some possibility of intellect, no matter how little or inferior.

It's skin took on a light, sickly purple hue, while it's eyes were a bright crimson, it's sclera being pitch black.

Strangely, while he could smell the nauseous scent of blood, he couldn't smell any rot.

And even the bleeding from the creatures damaged legs…

'It's not stopping. As if the heart is still pumping blood.'

Echo frowned at the thought.

'If they aren't 'undead', then…'

Well, it mattered not to him. After all, the only reason he had come to this world was for the bodies.

As a Necromancer, while he chose his first skill to be 'Summon Skeleton', which would further divide into 'Summon Skeleton Warrior', 'Summon Skeleton Archer' and 'Summon Skeleton Mage', he knew he would also get other skills as a Necromancer, like 'Summon Zombie', 'Summon Wraith', 'Summon Death Knight', etc… along the way.

And even if he would be able to 'summon' zombies, millions of corpses would surely still be valuable to him. But he couldn't exactly go on a killing spree in his original world.

But it's different in this world. He was sure no one would care even if several millions of bodies disappear in a world where people are eaten every second of the day.

And the other reason is…

*bang!*

A loud noise echoed through the streets, as the 'zombie' walking towards him had its head blasted off. Echo silently lowered the black 'Jackal' in his right hand as he glanced to his side.

((Conditions met. Acquired skill [Gun Mastery].))

((Conditions met. Acquired skill [Basic Gunfighting].))

Although his status was restricted, with his Wisdom decreasing by a whole 2,000+ Points, the number of Stat Points he used on it, the rest of his Stats remained perfectly fine. The benefit of raising them on his own.

And while he didn't get any EXP…

((Skill [Accuracy] levelled up!))

Echo grinned, his expressionless face morphing into a genuinely terrifying one. His grin almost stretched from one ear to the other, almost as if it was cut off with a pair of scissors, and his teeth, despite being the same as a normal human, strangely appeared like those of a beast.

A hungry beast. A beast hungry for 5 times the skill EXP he would normally get.

"Time to grind."

. . . . . .

. . . . . .

"Well, I'm out of bullets."

Echo sighed as he finished off the last 'zombie'. Approaching it, he stored the headless body in his inventory, and walked to a random house. Luckily, there was no one in it, so he could bolt the door and barricade it.

Walking through the floor, he realised it was a typical middle class household. Although, he couldn't help but sigh as he looked at the girly room before him.

The entire room was pink, with several cute figurines and soft toys lying around. The walls were covered in photo frames, each showing a family of three. A gentle looking mother, who was surprisingly present in only half of them, a middle aged father, and an adorable little girl.

"Alice, is it?"

He recalled the series which he watched with Rhianna and Leah.

"So I'm in their house."

While he figured it was Japan, he didn't know if he was in the same town as the main cast.

Of course, he wouldn't give a fuck if the main cast was alive or dead, but…

"Troublesome…"

Looking at the new Quests, he clicked his tongue in annoyance.

. . . . . .

. . . . . .

A total of ten quests. None of them were mandatory, yet all of them had enticing rewards.

Especially the [Terminator] ones.

The level cap of skills is level 100. And skills, in most conditions, cannot be advanced further.

Even the skills Echo had like 'Intermediate Archery', '2 Tomoe Sharingan', etc… weren't advanced versions of the skill. Instead, they were just the next part in a series of skills.

But to truly advance a skill, meant…

Well, Echo had no idea what it meant. But just getting a skill to level 100, even a seemingly useless skill like 'Breathing', would have incredible effects. Let alone surpass that limit?

"Well, it's not important now."

Looking at his empty quiver and bullet-less guns, Echo sighed softly.

Arrows weren't easy to find. Not only were they relatively rare in modern society, being made of wood, most of them might have been broken or damaged during the chaos that the apocalypse brought about.

And there's no need to even talk about bullets. Even if ammo for normal pistols are easy to find in an apocalyptic world, the bad boys in his hand were anything but ordinary.

Sure, he didn't need special bullets casted in holy silver that can rip apart vampires and freaks alike. But how would he find ammo that is only ever used as light artillery?

"Luckily, mom gave me these…"

Bringing out three 'books' from his inventory, Echo grinned again. Luckily, he was alone, so no one saw the scary sight.

((Skill Book [Magic Sphere : Light] detected. Learn?))

((Skill Book [Magic Barrier : Light] detected. Learn?))

((Skill Book [Magic Constructs : Light] erected. Learn?))

Light, the opposite of darkness, and a lesser version of the 'Holy Element'. At least, that's how it is in his original world. Perhaps, in some other world, 'Holy Power' would be a branch of 'Light Magic'. The Universe is so vast, who knows what might exist in some random corner in the middle of nowhere?

As a [Gamer], Echo, of course, has no problem learning Holy Magic. And even using it despite being a Necromancer. But unlike him, his undead summons are still extremely vulnerable to the Holy element. Their stats could even decrease in its presence.

Thus, he decided to learn the 'Light Magic' version of the skills instead.

As for the source of the books? Does that still need to be said? Of course, Aya, who had more free time than she could spend when her children all went to school, wrote them down.

It even saved time since Echo didn't have to try and imitate the magic, which even with his 'Sharingan' would be difficult since he was pretty much a noob at magic. Sure, the 'Sharingan' helps him learn skills quicker, but that's only when he had the basic requirements for being able to perform the skill.

Just because he had the 'Sharingan' didn't mean he could see an omnipotent being show off his or her omnipotence and learn 'Omnipotence' skill.

'Learn.'

Three new skills appeared in his 'Status' as new knowledge emerged within his mind.

At the same time…

'I have 6 Lottery Tickets and a chance to get a random skill.'

He glanced at the rewards for the previous quests he didn't use and used them.

'I'm sure Sis wouldn't mind.'

Seven windows, each with a lottery wheel, appear before him, as they begin spinning. After a few seconds, the wheels slowed down, before finally stopping…

((Obtained Item [Pure Holy Silver Cross].))

((Obtained Unit [Pokemon Egg].))

((Obtained Skill Book [Tai-Chi].))

Nodding lightly at the prizes he got, Echo opened the descriptions of each of them, along with his three new skills.
